Was not told the UHaul had to be back by 10am or so the next morning or else I would have to pay for another whole day, USUAL wasn't picked up until after 11am so I figured I had till 11am to get it back since I did the 24 hour option. Customer service was poor. And I had a hold on my account for over $50 for almost a week and they couldn't help me get the hold off so the money could go back into my account.Kira M.

Use a web browser to do the checkin/check out. The mobile app times out and creates problems. Trying to call uhaul for help is long and frustrating, so be prepared to sit waiting for hours if you do need customer assistance.Shawn B.
Quinn was helpful and worked with us. We just didn't get the right truck. That was not Quinn's fault. We reserved a 20 foot truck, never got a call from Uhaul to finalize where to pick up the truck and none were available. We ended up with a 10 foot truck which was nowhere near big enough.Benjamin L.

When I made the reservation at Quinn Equipment Inc, it was for a truck and an appliance dolly. As I was only moving a couple of items in town I was okay with the 12pm-6pm time frame as I would need it maybe 2 hours max. So I told the family that I am grabbing the stuff from that I would be there at 2. The problem though was when I went to the location to get the truck and appliance dolly, the dolly was not there. I called the U-Haul number that I was given and the first time I was on hold for 15 minutes before being told that representative was in St. Louis, MO and cannot help me. She then transferred me to the Iowa department, but all that did was put me on hold for 10 more minutes. After that 10 minutes it sent me back to the representative in MO who then tells me to hang up and call again. At this point I had to call and tell the person who I was grabbing the stuff from that I was going to be late. I then called the U-Haul number again and finally got to a person in Iowa. They said the only option I had was to go to another location that was 20 minutes away to grab the appliance dolly. So I drove 20 minutes to the other location, and received the dolly. I then went back to the Quinn Equipment Inc location to finish up the truck check out on the app. During the checkout process of the truck there is a section in the app to upload pictures of the truck for damage before I sign it out. The app would not let you upload photos at it kept timing out. After all the issues I was finally able to get to the address to pick up the items I bought. That though was 2 hours later than I said we would be there by. This wasn't just a little pain, but a big issue. The items we were moving weighed over 100lbs (hence needing an appliance dolly). Not having one ready to go made us adjust our schedule, and make everyone change their plan because of this. I am very upset, over this and I do expect to get called about this.Bruce L.

Uhaul did not provide the truck in the city requested. We had to fight for a location that was workable but not the closest. They also bumped the price up by over a $1,000 even though I reserved it 2 months earlier. They were difficult to work with and would not commit to having a truck until the last few days.DOUGLAS K.

More of an overall suggestion than a site-specific suggestion: The truck we picked up had some minor damage which we did not notice as we picked up the truck in the rain. When I notice the damage, I was very worried we would get charged. It would be nice to have a sheet saying what if any damage already existed so everyone knows who is responsible for any damage.Kenneth F.
