Appreciated the professional and courteous help with having the Uhaul trailer attached to the vehicle.
KEVEN HThe trucks steering was very loose with a lot of play in the steering wheel and would wander going down the road. Better maintenance needed.
KELLEY FI was over charged. Told us gas was about 3/4 full got into truck grandson took a picture of gas gage it was at a half tank. Put me down for 45 miles when I used 22 miles. States it on the receipt.
JORDAN MAfter I was informed I would need to pick up the truck from a different location on the opposite side of town from what was originally reserved i confirmed with uhaul the new location would be open. It was not open, the truck did not contain a dolly as reserved, dirt not cleaned out of the driver side, the truck was not parked where indicated in the pick up process and i had to wander around this storage unit business looking for the truck. When I found the 26 footer parked in the back I had to squeeze the truck through the tiniest gap between storage units and more uhaul trucks/vans parked on either side. Why you would leave that large of a truck in the back for a customer to get out without providing a clear path is beyond me. When that was all done I still had to go locate a dolly last second to use for the move. All these issues caused a significant delay in my moving plans that day and inconvenienced more than just myself. I've moved alot over the years and have never had an issue picking up a uhaul from an official location. I mean this isn't rocket science, provide a truck along with the reserved items for a customer to pick up. If I were uhaul I would be paying close attention to this locations ability to do their job.

DAVID PWe were given a truck that was dirty. Had red bull can and fogger cans for bugs in truck. We found paper with cock roaches on it. Luckily we were not far from Quinn Equipment and I called them and they told me to bring in back and they would give another truck. I feel whoever had truck before me should be notified just don't feel that's okay to bring truck back dirty. Quinn should have checked before I took it out but that didn't happen. They made it right with me so I was satisfied.

CARRI BThe front floor mat had mud and residue on it. The billing is all screwed up because they tried to take out a total of 180 for a 50 bill. Had to get my bank involved to credit back charges. Called U-Haul place during working hours and was closed. Also called and no answer so called U-Haul corporate and was told have to wait till tomorrow so all things will post. So basically U-Haul pulled 180+ out of my bank for a 59 bill.

JEFFREY HThe location is fine except for the hours, i.e., closing at noon every day. That’s because I highly dislike needing to use the U-Haul app and spending way too much time making the app happy in order to rent and return. Going forward I will avoid it when possible just as I avoid stores without a good alternative to self checkout.

michael eSelf-checkout app and website kept crashing after I was charged a $23 fee at the end of the checkout for service charge. This is mind boggling considering U-Haul was closed and I had to perform the inspection at the end. I have already called the main office for an escalation case but in the email receipt for the case it says no files found and no past trips found. Please help make this right, unfortunately it was not an “EZ” move because of the service from U-Haul. I would not recommend this company to friends or my students graduating high school getting ready for college until things change with U-Haul. I’ve used your services numerous times in the past, but something has changed with U-Haul.

Richard CI will avoid U-Haul as much as possible. The customer service reps on the phone are rude and talked over me, and the First Gentleman I spoke to at the actual location of drop off was also rude after I casually used the f word, as it is part of my daily vocabulary and it was not being directed at anyone. Also you guys have that $50 reservation guarantee and I’m owed that due to the people at the first location I tried not being able to figure out how to process my reservation. They also tried charging me a $100 deposit, which no one else has ever done. To say I’m pissed with the way things went is an understatement.

Brian TWe had to go out of our way not too badly to pick up our Uhaul, but when we arrived, it was waiting there for us and the app walked us through the whole process very easily. Everything worked out great. It was clean and it ran perfectly. Thank you so much for your assistance!
MARY HAfter scheduling a 7:30AM pickup, I was called the day earlier and was told that it had to be earlier because of an 8am commitment that owner had, obviously the only employee there. It almost messed with the plans that we had for movers but worked out OK. That was the only issue. Employee was nice and professional and quick.

Karen GUpon receiving my confirmation phone call, when I asked if there was anything special that I needed to know about mobile pickup, I was told "everything I needed to know is in the link in the text you received" yet there is zero information that I had to be on-site with my phone instead of my husband picking up the UHAUL without me. This needs to be communicated, not given a blase answer where the agent doesn't want to take the time to talk it out. Because of this, it took an extra 2 hours to get going and talking to the customer service number since we needed pickup before "office hours" and yet nothing could be done. We appreciated the extra 2 hours we were allotted at the end, that was the absolute least that could have been done.

Daniel RThe problem is, I wouldn't recommend UHaul at all. Easy to reserve, but the no contact to retrieve keys for pickup with the app is beyond the worst app ever. First, trying to navigate where you need to start the process for pickup is ridiculous. There were 2 different families trying to locate. Once found, neither one of location locator would work, nor would the ability to scan sticker. After waiting for the location yo open with our first reservation, they did not open at 9. We waited 15 minutes. Then we finally canceled our reservation and reserved at Quinn storage. If you are going to have an app for all your reservations, you definitely NEED a easier way to navigate you app.
scott BYour app is useless. I did the steps, took the pictures, sent the contact information. You called my alternate contact, and then, nothing. Total silence. No calls. No texts. No email. We called “customer service “, they were useless. In fact they hung up on us, twice. Chat through the app? Useless. Told me to shut down the app and sign back in. That ended the chat and didn’t work. If Quinn’s owner hadn’t been there in a Saturday afternoon, we’d still be waiting for our truck 2 days later! If we’d had ANY other option, we’d have taken it. Your online “24/7” program is terrible. Fix it. Now.

Breonnah SEverything about this experience was wonderful except for the return. I returned after hours but the process was not explained to me at pick up. I had deposited the keys before starting the check in process as it has been many years since I have rented and that was previously all that needed to be done. I then did the return process on the app and realized there were many things that needed to be done that I couldn't do because I had locked the vehicle and deposited the keys. I am sure I will get charged the fee but after a stressful day of moving, this was an inconvenience I had not anticipated. I guess lesson learned on my part but it couldn't have been better explained at pick up.

Edmund GWhen returning truck wasent able to complete what was asked when using the app not sure now if my return is completed.
Marcy HWhen I booked online it said a certain amount of miles came with the rental rate. Yet I paid per mile, had to gas it up, which I was around 30 to 40 of my own cash. The actual rent on the truck was the one reasonable amount. My guess is you don't cultivate returning customers.
Nichole BThe U-Haul app was painful. Most people would consider me pretty tech savvy, and I still struggled with this app. I had to take my picture at least 10x for the live verification to acknowledge it. The app timed me out more than once as I was uploading things. The live verification call to the person I listed (who was sitting right next to me) took almost 15 minutes alone. The equipment was clean and in great condition, I would just highly not recommend using the self service/the app until U-Haul has worked out the app's issues. *On the flip note, I was able to check the equipment out sooner than if I had to go to the SW store -- but you really need patience to use the app.
