Great customer service!
Chris LThis location for pickup was the third location that U Haul assigned to me. My preferred location was selected weeks ago but then I was notified three days prior to go to another location. But no one answered the phone at that location, so I contacted the Dispatcher and she learned that it was closed on Mondays. She referred me to this final location, but they were closed for lunch until 3:30pm. Since I needed to pick up by 4pm I drove there hoping they would have the trailer and they did. The whole experience was anxiety producing. The outside of the tray has black tar on the front outside panel, which didn’t interfere with its functionality but when I dropped it off, I was questioned about. That left me feeling like I could be blamed for this, which was there when I rented it. That was also anxiety producing. So these are my experiences that lead to just an average experience. The plus is that the wheels and tires were in good condition and the trailer functioned safely.
Martin HNot only take care of the equipment/trucks that are being rented to the customers but also have Customer care training for better communication with the client/customer. Very rude from the beginning, fortunate the center was available on a Sunday when most locations are closed but unfortunate the customer service was poor. To the very end the service was horrible Kossif, the Rep on call put the phone down on me while speaking to someone and left me hanging. I was called about being charged twice for service that was double my final bill. Rude Kossif (if that is his real name) was, Very Rude and then hung up on me after asking me if I had questions. I would not recommend this location, and I will provide additional Review wherever possible. Thank you.
CarolynJ COwner lied about a deposit didn't want to rent me a cargo van wanted me to rent a 10 foot truck and ll I had to do was get a dryer then charged me for 100 miles and I told him I would travel around 20. He insinuated I was going to be fraudulent and charged me more miles then interrogated me about employment after leaving me waiting for several minutes in his empty store, WORST Uhaul experience ever. Will never rent here again
Richard BThe website and signs at the location said it opened at 8:30am so I waited to pick up the truck at 8:30am to pick up the truck since movers arrived at 9am and no one was there. I called several numbers and when I finally talked to someone they said they don’t open until 9am and were stuck in traffic. It was added stress to an already stressful move day.

CHARLES JActually offer customer service, maintain the uhauls better. The one rented to me was dirty inside was missing a light cap from the back. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

PHILLIP GThis is not their fault, but I had arranged for my pickup at another UHaul in Durham. I even called the day before to confirm and was told everything is arranged already, but then I wasn’t told my pickup got moved to this location till my pickup time. So I had to hurry up and make it over here, and moving day got delayed.

SHAUN MThe associate was pleasant but didn't clearly explain that I should open my email to verify the truck, take a picture of the license plate, check the mileage before I drove off. Although I used UHaul years ago, a person should not assume that you recall all of the required actions you should follow before pulling off. I was anxious to complete tasks for the day and although I was told to look at my text messages, he should have taken the time to explain the requirements. Especially when I asked where is the paperwork? Which indicated that I didn't know everything was computerized. Just a suggestion for senior citizens using your service. I have worked in customer service my entire life, don't assume that people open text or emails, explain the procedure to your guest. There should also be a diagram for the truck sizes with measurements for guest to select from. Otherwise the experience was positive.

MICHAEL CI hope I never have to use uhaul again ! This is my second time and the experience was similarly horrible. How do they accept the reservation but not reserve the equipment for early pick up? Then when I call customer service they change the pick up time on the system. The level of professionalism is horrible.

ANGELA WThe type of truck (van) that I had reserved was not available when I reserved it. So, they gave me a 10ft truck. While this is acceptable, it costs more in gas, so I ended up paying more. Not what I consider fair. There should have been a discount.
WILLIAM JAllow for comments in the return equipment process. I needed a space to share that I could only fill the gas tank with two gallons of gas before the pump would automatically shut off and not allow me to pump any more gas into it.
TAMMY PI tried to explain to the man that I was not late dropping it off because I didn’t pick up the truck until late I was just told I had to pay for it before they closed but I didn’t actually get the truck at the time that was stated

JAMAAL Npick-up experience was great. great associate at the shop, thank you! the inside of the truck was clean but the outside was a little muddy, simply from recent weather and location. not sure why i was charged a $25 cleaning fee after drop-off when it was empty and my movers took everything out, unless i was being charged for the exterior mud? truck was on dry roads only. i’ve never been charged that before.

QUINCY SConduct trailer lights check with customer after hooking trailer up to the vehicle please. On the check out firm I mentioned dents in roof just inside the doors. I later noticed two goudges in the particle board inside the right hand door. I would recommend this location to anyone.

WAHID Snothing to do for next customer except that the Fayetteville Road location was the secondary. I went to the original location and there was a sign on the door that said "closed". So, I had to call U-Haul and get an alternate location that was 30 minutes away. Not convenient and not good!
MITCH MFront passenger tire was visibly low, even had a warning on the dashboard. Expressed my concern to the location employee, but was reassured it was “ok”. Turns out there was a huge nail in the tire and about an hour later it was flat. Had to call roadside assistance, which all people involved were super helpful. And the roadside mechanic was very helpful and efficient!
