It's been 2 days since I returned the truck and I haven't received my final invoice!!!!!!!!!

Since it took over an hour to dispatch the trailer due to connectivity or software issues, you need a manual method as a backup so customers are not impacted. This was not the fault of the location so I didn't score them poorly. I had checked in online and still spent over an hour trying to get the trailer.

Every time I rent at this location there is one person working who is always taking calls from customers, line of in office customers and he is running around to move trucks. Might be time to hire someone or give more clear instructions on where vehicles need to be parked. In addition the app never works properly, this time I was not able to return the vehicle from the app which would have saved me time with the busy guy behind the counter. Browser also had a location awareness problem which only is a problem when using the u-haul web site.

Dropped off around 5 but nobody was there. They had a bunch of hand written notes scattered on the door. Nothing was clear but seemed they closed because of internet issues. I left trailor in lot next to trucks. Received hostile call 30 minutes later claiming I should not have left trailor where I did and that I should have taken to some other drop off. It was all my fault! Costumer service a zero at this fly by night shady location. Drop them like a hot potato! Do not deserve to be in business. The customer service gentleman was rude and informative, I was trying to explain something in which came back true to what I was saying and he continue to belittle me and made it seem like it was a problem or I was complaining about the amount but I got confirmation from the Uhaul manager that I was explaining right and he hung up the phone on me.

Make sure folks know that they need to check the vehicle out when they are at the dropoff location. Better yet, eliminate that requirement, as long as vehicle is returned and keys are in the slot!

Please have a backup camera installed on such big trucks. This truck was not having any backup camera and was very difficult to back up.

When I rented the vehicle there was mud/dirt on the driver side floorboard and the inside windows had overspray on them. I had to clean the windows in order to be able to see clearly. Plus the rep did not come out with me to verify the condition of the vehicle. Now I am being billed for cleaning when the cab of the vehicle was not fully clean when I got it. I took pictures of the outside of the truck and had I known, I would have taken pictures of the inside as well.

Someone smoked in this vehicle and it smells like cigarette smell. Notified the person in store, he didn't upgrade to bigger uhaul for free and also he said he doesn't have same size to exchange.

I was billed $63.30 at time of rental including estimated for 40 miles at $0.59 per mile. I drove the van 44 miles in total, so an extra $2.36 plus tax. I filled it up (there's a gas station at pick up/drop off place)and since I only drove it 44 miles, filling it took $3. Very annoying that I got charged an extra $5 for nothing. Not a lot I know, but didn't happen last time I used U-Haul from a different Cary, NC location.

The guy running the store could've been nicer. My appointment to pick up the truck was at 9am and I waited for the approval of my rental for 20 minutes. There was a decent sized hole in the top corner of the cargo box. Considering I booked the uhaul weeks in advance my experience was very inconvenient and stressful.

The online check out needs to be in the vehicle, if the truck is returned and key dropped in box after hours, the check out gets complicated especially to upload pictures of the truck, the representative should inform that before leaving the office at the moment of rental. Truck was not clean inside, I had to clean it before loading my furniture, Thanks John Bermudez

Absolutely horrible experience, arrived at 8:15 to pick up vehicle that was scheduled for 8:30. The vehicle wasn't available, even with the app, so had to wait until the store opened at 9. Even then, the worker was the rudest person i have ever encountered. The vehicle had an oil change needed sign on and I couldn't get the mileage, I went in to ask for help and the worker said, only 3 ppl allowed inside due to COVID, there was literally only 3, so I told him but there are 3, and he responded "I've already helped you, get out". So it wasn't until 9:45 that we pulled away with the vehicle after being there for 1.5hr

Even though my time was confirmed three times prior to my pickup, they were not at the store until an hour later than my pickup time of 8 am. The sign on their door also said they opened at 8 am. The gentleman that ran the store was also very rude about it. I will never use that place of business again.

I made a reservation online, when I came to pick up the truck the owner canceled my reservation and entered me as a walk on because it was easier. (The system was having issues). My husband is in the military and we moved to Columbus, GA which is what I had on the reservation. Instead the Uhaul representative had my destination as Columbus, NC! This a was a mistake on Uhauls part and they wanted to charge us about $100 more than what was quoted to us. After spending over an hour on the phone and talking to three representatives I was given the number for Lori Hurley which to my understanding is the traffic manager for the North Carolina region. The person who picked up the phone in her office, I believe her name was Ingrid did not want to hear about what had happened and proceeded to raise her voice and escalate the situation. I was calm the entire time and did not understand why our situation was met with such anger. I felt very uncomfortable with the way Ingrid was speaking to me so my husband continued the conversation for me. After speaking with Ingrid and met with the same poor attitude we asked to speak to the manager Lori. I was shocked with how she spoke to us and how unprofessional she was. She would not admit that Uhaul was at fault until about 20 minutes into our conversation. She kept trying to give us the run around and say the same thing over and over without any resolution. As a military family we are given a strict budget for moving and have to plan meticulously. She did not want to help us or apologize for the inconvenience we experience. Instead we were met with hostility and anger. As a military family we move about every two years, Uhaul will never receive our business again. I hope you can take this feedback and make sure other individuals and families are met with respect, professionalism, and that Uhaul and it's employee's take accountability for their mistakes.

I had a terrible experience. I have also been massively overcharged for faulty reported mileage and fuel tank numbers in your system. Additionally the employee I interacted with was a complete jerk and unprofessional. The moving blankets that I reserved over a week ago were not available and I was still charged for them. My truck was dirty including wadded up dirty paper towels and cigarette butts in the cab. The truck cargo bay was covered in a coating of what seem to do dust from painting products. It needed to be mopped out. This experience was unbelievable and I will never choose Uhaul for moving again. Please call me ASAP at 828-228-9043. Thanks. -Samuel Mills

I ordered 5 dozen blankets a dolly and a lift and none of it came included in the truck. When I called back shop was closed.

No personnel involved. Dropped truck off by overfilled trash dumpsters. Left key at drop off behind strip mall. Luckily it was daylight....very unsafe for after hours. Overall experience was VERY disappointing. Talked with 3 different U Haul reps in booking rental. 2/3 were pleasant but only 1/3 was helpful and patient. Had I not had a younger person with me, I wouldn't have been able to do ANY of this. The level of technology involved is certainly NOT appropriate for most people over 40. None of the three UHaul reps told me what was involved in the rental process (uploading, pictures etc...) UHaul provides nearly ZERO customer service. The CUSTOMER does all the work! So, next time, I'll pay more money and have service...with people.

When we arrived for our 5:30pm pick up the owner of the stores sign still said open but the doors were locked and no one was inside. The U-Haul app told us we needed to go into the store to get the vehicle, so we called U-Haul customer service and a representative had to help us but we only got the vehicle at 6:10pm. This is 40 min late, we ended up being late to pick an item up, the person ended up selling it to someone else and we lost our because U-Haul messed up. The vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke.

Have more help for customer service. After requesting 24 blankets we had to go to another location to pick up 10. Then we were instructed to get our own blankets rather them him. We also had to request a cleaner truck. Dry bugs were all over the first truck and he didn't inspect or do a walk around for either truck.
