Kenneth MI had to drive 113mi, out of my way to pick up the truck and was not informed I would be charged an additional $1 per mile, which really would have been a deal breaker for me had I known. Only informed that I’d have to pay a higher amount for any fuel that had to be added to get the truck to where it was at pick up. Also, the truck was caked in mud, the driver door was damaged from a previous renter and couldn’t fully open and then to be charged so many additional fees on top of the rental itself was ridiculous.
Markie SThe staff is always friendly and the initial renting is good however when it is time to return the equipment there are always issues. This is 3rd time that I have returned equipment that it was not checked in. The first ti.e I was charged over $1000 because it was not checked in for several weeks. Each time after I have had to make a minimum of one trip back to get it checked in so I am not charged again. This time was no exception. If there was a other location close by or different rental company I would use them instead.
Joy WWe went to a location before the pick up location. We reserved a trailer. He said they had 2instock. In fact they had none in stock. He blamed everything on U-Haul. I will never go to that location again. We had to drive 160 miles to get a trailer

James SReserved trailer was damaged. It took close to an hour before I could rent the damaged trailer. Associate helpful as he was, said he knew the trailer was NOT damaged because he inspected it when it was returned. After talking to a uhaul representative, who confirmed the damag,he then back tracked and said yeah I know its damaged because I inspected it myself. It was bent at the reciever ball joint and didn't have working break lights. Thankfully it was a day trip. I had it reserved well ahead of time and had absolutely no time to wait for another trailer to rent. The whole rental process set me back a lot of precious time. I elected to pay for insurance solely on the premise that I was renting damaged goods. Not a good experience with uhaul at all. Unsatisfied customer.

Angel BThe Eureka location was fantastic... again. We have been there before and will use them if we need to rent something in the future. However, we were originally scheduled to rent from your location in ELY, Nevadra. It was terrible. We were quoted an incorrect price, the service person on hand that Saturday was a hair's breath away from rude. When we went to get the trailer, it was stuck behind 4 other trailers and there was no assistance to getting it out. We were told not to reserve ahead because there were plenty of trailers ... and there were. We could not understand why they gave us one that was tapped. Thus, we went back and got our money back and left to make arrangements in Eureka - setting us back several days and adding some 500+ miles onto what we needed to get done.
