There is only one clerk at this gas station/ convenience store. Today’s clerk got me checked in and out in a reasonable time, but he wasn’t very busy. In the past I have had significant waits.

BRIGIT STrailer didn’t function properly. Car didn’t fit as described. Initially promised a refund via email from a manager but no refund or response since my initial contact.

RALPH MThe pick up location is pretty shady. When I returned the trailer no one even came out to look at the equipment. Also I was charged an after hour service fee even though my rental was 0930-1400. I emailed Uhaul for help but no one ever responded.
FREDERICK Gpickup location changed last minute to a location that was an hour drive away. i was also charged for 2 additional days when I should only have been charged 1 additional day.
JAMES YHorrible customer service. My location for picking up equipment was changed without calling me. It was over an hour away from me each way. Wasted a half day getting there and back. They didn’t have the moving supplies I previously reserved. Worst experience ever!

Nicolas BBeware of the day of the month and the season (end of the school year). Uhaul called me the night before my reservation and informed me they did not have a truck for me. I had to drive 45 miles from the reservation location to get a truck. Uhaul does not compensate you for this inconvenience.

Christian STrailer was missing a chain connector. There was only one, and should have been two. Attendant had to split his time between running a gas station store and U-Haul duties, causing wait time. Did what was necessary for the rental and nothing more.
David KCome to check equipment in, rather then make me go in, ask for someone to check me in…wait while one of the people fiddles with the phone…ask me to move my truck…then tell me to wait while the person fiddling with phone checks the equipment in. Just not very cordial or considerate of customer convienience or time. But safe. Clean…yea. It was OK. Better then some other uhaul locations I’ve been in but nah, I’d probably. It recommend it.
Tony EThis is a rural area. A long (14’) equipment hauling trailer would be a nice option to have. I had to remove part of my tractor to fit it on the 12’ trailer.

christopher eNo furniture pads available as ordered. No boxes available. Several other smaller trucks were sitting on the lot after uhaul call center told me none were available and I had confirmed a larger truck than needed.
Richard BRims where rotting with rust not even close safe had to keep checking them in case of failure. Trailer was all tore up and beat up wasn’t real confident in the trailer but hey it made it I guess
zackery aEmployee was very un professional they did not have the furniture pads or dolly that I reserved so I had to go buy them . Employee gave me the key and did not do a walk around to note any previous damages to the truck. I had to drive 45 min away from where I reserved the truck to pick up. No fuel in the truck. Horrible experience.

Luis CThe uhaul agent at ramco is a jerk. Impolite, acting like he was doing me a favor giving me the keys. My internet went out in their store.. They have no internet, no bathroom and no manners, because the page where it says go get the keys went blank he tried to refuse to give me the truck. Said he won't do business with me, my fault there was no internet in their store. So incredibly rude.. Nevermind I'm a 100% disabled veteran with scoliosis.. Made me walk extra cause he was being a jerk.. I waited 10 minutes for him to show up and the give me an attitude. Worst customer service ever.
Poul CThis is a gas station/convenience store. There was only one employee present who had to try to take care of gas, store and UHaul customers all at the same time. Location has plenty of room for parking and pick up/drop off of trailers.
James BYOUR UHAUL STAFF IS THE WORST EVER! FOR BOTH MONTHS IN JUNE AND JULY THE STAFF SCREWED UP ON THE TRUCK I NEED TO TOW A 28FT TRAVEL TRAILER. YOUR STAFF NEEDS TO BE BETTER TRAINED AND ALSO KNOW WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN RENTING A VECHICLE!

Dale GThe personnel at this location attempted to take my personal light cables after disconnecting the U-Haul trailer. They threatened to charge me for not giving them the light cables, despite it being my personal property. They also tried to take my security blankets. I do not recommend this place whatsoever; the personnel were very unprofessional.

Ann AOver charged me didn't put in a discount that my friend told me to so I will never rent anything from this company and what happened to customer service and that customers mean everything to any type of company.
Megan RThe mobile app was problematic. it would not let me use the camera in my phone to take the required pix. Also, I had to input the year first and THEN the dd/mm to get it to accept my DOB and CDL Exp date. counter intuitive. Had to get assistance at check out and check in.

Rich CThe drop off location should be removed. I spent over 30 mins waiting for the lady to process my return. She couldn’t find my reservation the first 10 mins I was there even after presenting her my contract. Her Internet was so slow that she couldn’t check me out with her old laptop or phone. Another person had to go to a computer in the back office to process the return. Painfully inept and waste of my time. I won’t use that location ever again.
David MWebsite allows a 7am pickup but store clerk claims it doesn't open until 8am, however he still processed the reservation. It took far longer than it should have for a mobile pickup as there is no cell reception at this location and he had to continuously leave his computer to cash out the convenience store and gas station customers. These problems ended up costing me an hour of travel time.

Arthur CI don't fault the person checking in the truck, but when I picked up the truck from Clairemont the Gas tank was not full. I previously took a picture of the needle, filled it back up to where my pictured showed and I was still charged an extra fee for gas. The person showed me the digital screen where he thought the needle should be, but it doesn't allow for slight variations between marks on the gas gauge, so it isn't the best solution when trying to check-in a customer.

Juan CStart by not advertising $25 and then charging all these other BS secret charges and then trying to charge $32 for gas when I only drove 7 miles and not being able to take care of me very unhappy probably never get a U-Haul again.

RYAN VThe back had some dirt in it and needed swept out. The rear inside tire on the passenger side had very low tread and was bald on the outside edges.
Douglas KPoor customer service. The guy that was supposed to help me was on a phone call on his cell phone for 10 minutes while I waited after arrival. Even as he was walking me out to the trailer and my truck he took another call on his cell and made me wait. The trailer had what looked like a bird nest lodged in the trailer gate. Dropping off, I waited inside with him for 5 minutes and he basically acted like I wasn't there. I had to disconnect the trailer myself and he never came outside, at all.
