I reserved my uhaul a month before my scheduled move date. Had to travel 200 miles to get to the original location by train and when I arrived they told me there was no available truck because they were overbooked. Disappointed, they had to search for the closest available one which was 40 miles. This truck was available due luck because someone canceled. If this was not available, they wanted me to travel more than 50 miles. I hope that if you book in advance this does not happen. Moving is not easy, planning ahead is necessary but if you are not assured of your reservation how can you have peace of mind.Rheagan B.

The trucks were parked in a completely different lot than the store where it was to be picked up. They were also parked in large puddles of water that made it impossible to get into the vehicle without getting my shoes soaking wet. The entire point of the online check in was to not have to wait in line but still had to do that while the checked out a customer who did not have a reservation.Zechariah R.

do not call this "location". Am i rating the physical "location" or the over-all service? it is a bit confusing. Service was great. Location a bit "tucked in" difficult to see...especially if there are no U-haul trucks there.Lillian J.

Well I made our reservation online I already had insurance to cover . When I picked it up he went online an redid my order. He put everything down as coverage and it cost me 100 dollars more . I didn't need it or want it but needed the truck to movemark W.

Nothing really. It's just located in a really old, run down building. However, the people there are all nice and helped me connect and disconnect the trailer and just generally prompt and helpful.Tom K.
the guy told me I was all set and I didn't receive a receipt because of the original issues with not having a valid contract. he never told me I had to complete my return. o. the uhaul website to get a final receipt.Rita B.

I was told nothing about the vehicle from the agent. I was given the keys and hand truck and have a safe trip. He didn't walk around the vehicle and point out any areas that already had been damaged. He didn't tell me if the truck had been recently sanitized.Gary S.

The man tried to tell me I owed for gas before he even looked at my paperwork and them yelled "I don't care what paper you have" when I tried to explain to him the pick up location had issued me a credit to return the truck at 1/4 of a tank. He was rude as hell.Tobias M.
The U Haul computer system is a mess. My data had to be entered 4 times before it was accepted plus the rental location had to call U Haul twice for computer help!! I had another U Haul rental earlier this summer at another location and had computer problems there too!!! Fix your system!DAVID D.

We were suppose to pickup the truck Sat. morning--but received a call that said the location would not be open Sat morning and if we wanted the truck--we had to pick it up by 5pm Friday evening. This meant that we had to pay for time which we could not use the truck. All we paid for was for the truck to sit from 5pm Friday until 10am Saturday until we could start our move. I found this to be unacceptable and very poor management on U-Hauls side.richard M.

First i was called two days before my scheduled pick up to be informed they did not have my truck auto my desired location and i would need to drive 30 min away to pick up my truck. I was given extra miles for inconvenience. The building smelled horrible of mildew and the computer kept crashing when i was trying to pick up. Pick up took 45 min. The older guy cussed at me when i was attempting to find a rental truck last min due to their computer issues. The cab of the truck was dirty and had cigarette bus in the ash tray. And when i got home, my brother who is a manager at a reputable tire store advised me the rear tire was completely bald and he would not let this truck leave his shop with these tires on it. And i had to drive 260 miles on it. I will not utilize u haul services again.MELISSA C.

Contact me immediately. I just received a bill that was over $600 more than it should've been because of some inexplicable mileage calculation. Needless to say, there's no way I'm paying this. And this was after UHaul completely screwed up my reservation. I was forced to go to this location at the last minute because my truck wasn't where it was supposed to be in Indiana. We dropped the truck off and used drop box so we didn't see or talk to anyone however we have used them in the past and we're very satisfied. I also appreciated when I called to ask about drop off prior to placing our order online and they offered to do it for us. The only reason I declined was I was waiting for confirmation on specific dates yet on rentalKURTIS C.
See if you can get the radio working and check the transmission fluid level. Durn thing didn't like staying in top gear.Stephen D.
