This guy was the most rude person I've ever had to work with as a customer. He hung up on me when asking if he had a car dolly because I wanted to reserve it, he said just tell me the information when you get here. Then ask what time I would be there, I had no idea where he was, I was broke down on the interstate and when I said I wasn't sure what time he hung up on me. I had no choice but to use his place as I couldn't find one close by. His store stunk, played loud Latin rap and sold single beers to very shady people while I waited on him to finish my paperwork. Then he didn't help hook it up or look at the condition or even leave the store, I was amazed Uhaul allowed him to sell their merchandise!! I worried about leaving my wife and daughter in the car while I done the paperwork.

This location wasnt the problem the previous one, my original booking location at cmt with the absent foul mouthed owner swearing, yelling and trashing uhaul because I made a reservation was and this was after waiting over 40 minutes for him to even return to the business and after listening to him yell and berate a delivery driver while making me wait and listen to it for an additional 20 minutes

Train the employees working the uhaul counter better. It took me 1.5 hours to pick up a reserved trailer. I don’t understand why it took that long when I was the only customer in line. Then when I got to the drop off location I found out that they had hooked up a trailer different than the one that they had contracted me for. A complete nightmare of a situation.

The attendant took approximately 25 minutes to process the paperwork; three times longer than my last several experiences. I was his only customer. He did not help hook up or disconnect the trailer, did not inspect for safety or lights. He never left his desk.

The pick up time was 9.30 pm. However the cashier at this location stated thay they usually close at 9.00 pm and that I was lucky on that day as he had waited longer than usual. If he was not there at 9.3p pm I would not have been able to pick up the truck. He was however very helpful and courteous. Suggest change closing time for this location to 9.00 pm

Not easy to find. Limited number of trucks. Clerk wasn’t helpful. When picking up the truck for a 24-hour rental, we arrived a half hour earlier than our reservation to fill out the forms. The clerk automatically charged for two days because he indicated the starting time as 10:30 but pickup time at 11:00. When questioned about the two days, he was less than helpful and didn’t make clear that by picking up at 10:30, it had to be returned by 10:30. He instead said that one minute more than 24 hours is a second day. We answered we’d wait 30 minutes to pickup rather than pay two days. Only then did he change the return to 10:30. When we did return the truck, he came out and ordered the truck be backed into a narrow parking space between other vehicles. By the time we did that, it was pouring rain, so we went inside to turn in the keys and he wouldn’t go out to check the truck in, instead promising to send our receipt later. We told him we had taken pictures of the inside and outside the truck and also the dashboard for mileage and fuel, and had a receipt for the fuel, so the receipt had better agree with our records. The receipt was emailed less than ten minutes later and it was accurate and correct.

I had a reservation scheduled for 9am on Saturday. The business I was renting the truck from had their hours of operation posted on the door stating they open at 9am. When I went there a little after 9, they were still closed. I came back after 10 and still they were closed. I spent the next hour trying to find a U-Haul available and when I did, the truck was 45 minutes out of the way.

When we dropped the truck off, we asked the attendant to inspect the truck and check the mileage and fuel level while we were there. He refused, with a very unfriendly and unhelpful attitude, stating he would check it when he had time (although no one else was in the store at this time). As soon as we left, he charged our credit card for a full tank of gas ($74), even though our contract stated we had to bring it back with 3/8 tank of gas, as it was when we received it. We received an email notice about the gas charge, which was not authorized. When we called the attendant about this error, he said we returned the truck empty with no gas and we were supposed to fill it. He refused to listen when we told him he was wrong and the contract said otherwise. Since we had a photo of the tank and the mileage showing it had gas when we returned the truck, we drove back to the drop off location, where we spoke to a different individual, who admitted the error and apologized, and issued a credit for the fraudulent charge. It was extra time and aggravation that could have been avoided had the employee done his job correctly. If the location cannot check trucks when they are returned, they should not be a return location. If you cannot inspect the truck while the customer is present, you should give up the right to assess any charges. We would never want to deal with them again.

Original pickup location that was listed on the confirmation email was incorrect, we had to go to another location 8 miles south in Stuart in order to pickup truck. Called uHual customer service and rep was very rude.

It was supposed to be an unassisted pickup but when I tried to access it with my iPhone I got the message that location service could not locate me. As a result I had to go inside and the store was very busy and they tried to help me as quick as they could although it took a while.

The store was great. The gebtleman working the counter was very friendly and avomodating. My only suggestion would be that they should have more trucks on hans to rent as they only had two when I was there. However that should not be any reflection of the store. Will definently rent from them again.

Only one employee - it was hard for him to give me full attention. He did his best, but he wasn't prepared. Also - he had no boxes for sale. I purchased those from a competitor, Pensky. Truck smelled of cigarettes and console was very sticky. Pick up location changed without CLEAR notification to me.

I had a great experience with Rapido Stop Grocery Store. They have an absolutely wonderful, clean and very organized facility. I would highly recommend them to my friends, family and anyone in need of a U-Haul rental. I have rented many U-Hauls in the past and I must say that Rapido Stop Grocery Store was by far the best rental facility I have ever used.

It was out of the location's hands that the truck arrived dirty and damaged from previous rental. I was offered a larger truck, but declined as was concerned about gas since was in short supply in FL. My issue was I had reserved 60 moving pads, they only had 18 on hand. All was complicated by evacuation due to upcoming Hurricane Irma. Kudos & thanks to supervisor Dan who went out of his way to get me the pads so we could load.

This store is run by two brothers. They are loud and obnoxious, and cut you off without letting you get a word in edgewise. Their skills are so lackluster, I had to do the entering of my own credit card information. They are listed as a 24 hour drop-off location, but this is inaccurate as they have no secure box to drop the key off at. On that point: we finished our move by 8pm, but it being Labor Day they closed early. Since there was no secure method to dispose of the key, we held onto it until the next morning. They had the audacity to attempt to extract payment for an extra day from us, for their fallacy of not having a key box. Do not rent U-Haul from this sketchy, run down grocery store.

This pick up location was changed the DAY BEFORE my move, this location was a few miles from my oroginal location selected and in a bad part of town. The attendant did not speak fluent English and was unable or chose not communicate changes to my contract. The power went out in his shop during check in, seemingly due to overloaded circuits as he had many coolers he began running around to turn back on after flipping the breakers. This kicked the internet which caused a major delay in the check in and in my move. I had paid previously for express check in. He then finally began to scramble around the shop looking for the keys to the truck, telling me he could not find them. After this he proceeded to tell me he had only 6 blankets, I had reserved 20. I had to drive to a separate location and make a separate rental agreement to get the blankets I needed. My drop off location was changed to a different, and farther, location than the one originally selected as well. My appliance dolly and 6 blankets that I rented with the truck apparently weren't meant to go with the truck to my destination as I received additional wrong destination fees for returning these items! This was the absolute WORST experience I have had with UHAUL and I will never use the service again.

I originally wanted to rent a 26 ft truck but the agent who called me told me I would only need a 17 ft truck. She would not find a 26 ft truck even through I wanted it. I ended up having to make more than one trip to move my belongings which put me over the limit on mileage which I had to pay extra for. I am very displeased with the service I received. I will not rent from U-haul again. It turned out to be more expensive because the customer service agent would not allow me to rent a 26 ft truck. Plus it was extra work to load the truck more than once.
