I reserved truck 2 weeks in advance, called and confirmed 2 days prior to pick up day,was told truck and car haul trailer were there, showed up on pick up date and was told that they had no truck or trailer available, even though 2 trucks were sitting on lot. Owner told me that he had to rent to other customers and in essence I got bumped. I will never use Ray Vickers again in life. I will never under any circumstances recommend anyone to use Ray Vickers and the only reason I would even consider using Uhauslagain is because the guy in San Angelo Texas was very accommodating and polite which I really appreciated after the ordeal in Farmington Nm with Ray Vickers.

I was served by a disinterested person who did not wear a mask. I asked her if I could stay outside and that she bring the paperwork out. She called me back in to sign so I did as quickly as I could. When I brought the truck back, two other employees (or perhaps owners) came in - no masks. I will notify my friends to avoid this business and stay safe. This practice shows me that they do not want my patronage nor do they care to follow State directives. I wish they would have told me this upfront so that I would have known.

I was told when making reservation my pods would be delivered to Durango. I had to make 5 trips that were over an hour and a half each round trip to pick them up. Had I known that I would have made other arrangements.

Tried checking in 5'x8' trailer online but website kept re-routing me to rental site instead. Another customer returning his trailer had the same issue. This was time consuming and very concerning. Finally got through to a customer answering service (Kimberly) who asked me to leave a note for return office staff.

During Thanksgiving holiday. Their web site mentioned they would be open on Saturday until 5:oo p.m. When we got there (4:00 p.m.), they were closed. Come to find out, they were closed for the holiday. No sign on door! Tied to call , no answer. Should have posted on web page and door that they were closed for the holiday.

Multi time renter from this location. They are awesome, friendly and know their stuff! Watched them spend nearly half an hour trying to help another customer find exactly what they wanted to rent. very impressive.

I was charged a mandatory $ 10.00 for insurance . Although, my own insurance would have covered me in case of an accident. It is misleading to say you rent trucks for $19.95. In reality you charge $29.95.

I turned the truck in a whole day early upon my arrival to my destination, but was still charged for what they said that I had gone over on the miles. My route of travel must have been figured differently than theirs. I did not go through major cities, if this is what they had accounted for.

There was no bug trucks available, so we had to rent a pickup truck which made the move much more difficult. Then when my bill was adjusted I was expecting it to cost less than it did. The house we moved to was only maybe a 1/4 if a mile away. Plus the lady in the office informed us that it was a bran new truck & didn't want us to scratch the bed of the truck. It had a liner in it anyway. She was kinda snotty about it. I just thought it was nervy of her. After all we are using it to move all house hold items. It's not are fault there were no big trucks available. We really should have gotten more of a break being that we had to use a pick up truck. That definitely wasn't our choice! Or are fault!

My only issue relates to the reservation process. During my phone call to reserve the uhaul, insurance was included in the transaction without my permission. Having rented uhauls before, I was always info whether I wanted it so i did not review the documents before signing the paperwork. I am a little disappointed for not reviewing but also have too much trust with prior excellent service.

Communication is KEY! They gave us nothing but the run-around we had ordered a 26-foot truck and ended up with a 20ft with the trailer... Only took $100 off. Very inconvenient with no notice at all. On our way to Colorado we needed a car dolly so contacted Raton office had it all set up ready to go almost was in Raton and they told me inconveniently that the trailer we had ordered was back in Las Vegas which is about a hundred miles back and they close at 5 which it was only it was already 4. Then we make it to our destination and they overcharged us for mileage!!! Was not a very great overall experience. Very disappointed in the Uhaul team.
