The only thing I would suggest is if the gas tank has more gas when returned that a credit be applied to the credit card for this. We returned the vehicle with half a tank of gas as opposed to the quarter tank that was required. There is a charge if you don't return it at the level you picked it up at, but nothing for extra gas in the vehicle. Thank you.Fern Y.

I was greeted by the owner's barking dog off leash. After couple minutes I got out the car and went to look for the owner, which was later found plowing his field. I wanted to point out that I overfilled the gas tank (I was supposed to return at a quarter rank, but was a dozen littres or so over) and maybe I could get some kms write off because of that. That didn't matter, he didn't even listen and I was still charged same.Taras I.

I booked the unit from Aug 22 and return Aug 24 1:00pm. I got a call from Ray on Aug 23 3:30pm asking when I would be returning the truck. I said I'll probably drop it off in the evening. He said probably is not an answer. I said we booked until 1:00pm tomorrow he disagreed and said it was today at 1:00! Then informed me he had booked out for 8:00. I said not sure where or why you got that information but I was planning on dropping it off early anyway. He replied not early late! I asked him you do have a drop box he said yes. We arrived at the drop off at 9:05pm wasn't very clear on where to park the unit but followed all the online steps. When I went to put the key in the drop box his dog was not having any of that. I called Ray and he scoffed at me saying your dropping off after hours! I left the key in truck and truck unlocked. My question is why does a 24hour drop off have a guard dog protecting the dropbox?Mark G.

Our reservation was for 10:00 am. We arrived on location at 9:55am. It took an hour and a half of four adults trying the combination lock to finally unlock it (outside in -10/-15 weather). After this fiasco, I entered the U-Box with my excited children to find it completely filthy. Coffee was spilled all over the seats and center console, dust was covering the dash. In the middle of a pandemic this was extremely distressing. Due to time and schedule restraints we had no option but to take this U-Box. I am extremely dissatisfied with this transaction. The woman who worked at the pick up location was very kind and tried to be as helpful as she could.Bonnie D.

The gentleman at this location was excellent. If it wasn't for him I probably would have had a nervous breakdown. My movers truck had broke down and I didn't have anyone else to help so I called uhaul. The gentleman assured me that everything would be fine. I would never recommend anyone move without using uhaul, I will be telling everyone to use uhaul even for short trips. Thank you for making the move a little less stressful.KAREN L.

I still haven't been given a proper receipt for my drop of as I returned it before my 2 days were up and I paid for 3 days up front as well as 418 mi but I used less and I have yet to receive a refund, which is bullshit and I took pictures for proof of before and after mileage and they are date stamped to prove when they were taken, will be calling again tomorrow due to the lack of complianceLisa M.

Tell the customer ahead of time that paying with a debit card is NOT AN OPTION at this location before they drive an hour to your location. Maybe say hello or be kind when your customer is standing in front of you instead of being an unprofessional rude person, laughing with your friends ignoring your customer. never ever would I send anyone to that guy in vegreville this guy is so bad for your business. 1) He caused a lot of unneeded stress. in fact he demanded I be there within an hour or he was giving my "prepaid" uhaul away. 2) he also made it impossible to get there in an hour by insisting i drive to the west end of edmonton (opposite end of town as vagerville is in the east) to get my sisters credit card from her and bring it. the uhaul was already paid for on credit card not just booked which the guy was made aware of. THEN on top of it all I wouldnt even be able to get there before closing since he made me go this card. Seems because it was the last one in Alberta, he wanted to give it away. Guy is sick in the head. 3) Our move was extremely physically difficult as the second dolly and 2 furniture carts (3 pieces of equipment) were not provided even though they were booked and paid for. we reminded him while he was typing the agreement and he acknowledged it and we signed it but then when he gave us the key we asked for it but he didnt have any. he sluffed it off saying "oh they put all that on there.." he brushed it off. I said we ordered them and need them but he said to go get them at any store. I thought well...theyre on your contract..and it looks like im paying so why would i go get them at another store not to mention I had to drive to vegreville to begin with (when Im from Edmonton). 4) Our move was extremely difficult with the lack of the 2 furniture dollys and the upright dolly that was missing. in fact, we couldnt complete the move in the alotted time according to the building rules and so the conserge made us stop hauling furniture and furniture had to stay in the truck for 4 more days because I had no help now. I couldnt get it out so I had to call vancouver movers to get the rest of my furniture out because you failed to give us the equipment we ordered so we could do the move in the time frame given. 5) It was a disaster and cost me 4 more days of uhaul 350.00, movers in vancouver, another 320.00 and another 60.00 to get an uber ride home from dropping off the uhaul because now I have no help remember and no ride to drop it off. the lack of equipment pushed everything by days meaning I had to incur extra charges and additional costs because I had no help all because we had no equipment to offload. horrible horrible experience. 6) Now theres confrontation between the building manager and my son and I upon first day meeting him because he had to tell us to stop moving. How do you think that went? Well fk..we still have furniture in the truck..hello 780.00 worth of extra cost for me. Now we dont like them and they dont like us. Its not a nice feeling. Trailer was dropped off on time, when trailer was dropped off there was no one around my girlfriend had a dog in the box of her truck and some dogs from the yard came running up to her truck she sat outside of the retards house honking her horn she didn't want to go up to the house because of covid and the dogs so she kept honking her horn no one came around so she just dropped the trailer off then the following day I get an email saying I'm getting charged 1 day for being late...I called my g/f she didn't answer so I phoned the place where it was dropped off and all he said was WELL I DONT KNOW WHEN IT WAS DROPPED OFF....when I asked him about the trailer he acted like he knew nothing about it I got ahold of my g/f and her and her daughter assured me that it was dropped off may 1 at 3:45 but yet my bill says the morning of may 2 So because of this fkn ass hat I'm stuck with a bill for $21 Is this how you guys treat your customers or is this Fkn idiot just a special casejason M.

The best thing you can do is to not rip people off. I've rented u hauls in the past but this was the last tIme I'm afraid. I paid an arm and a leg to tow my car from BC to Alberta after a breakdown and on top of everything I got charged extra miles to boot when I returned the truck with the car trailer. Anyways water under the bridge.... People I have told cannot believe that this costed me $1500 including the fuel.George P.
I have just received notification that you guys have charged me an additional $34.10 for this rental. This must be reversed immediately. This was not a good experience with your company as I reserved a truck at the 17 street location in Edmonton and told I had to go to another location to pick this truck up which is farther away and on my way there passed the 17st. location and there were three (3) 26 ft trucks like I reserved. If this charge is for extra distance you better reverse it. If this charge is because I didn't take a picture of this gas guage I did and actually left more fuel in the truck then when I picked it up. Have both pickup at 1/4 tank and drop off at above quarter tank. Time and date stamped. And if you think you are charging me because I left the truck without verifying this through my phone you can forget that as your app didn't work. Nobody around other then three (3) dogs barking and one was rather large and I wasn't sure how safe I was even on the property so I think if anybody should be owed funds it would be you guys giving me a discount and returning some of the money I already paid you prior to taking this thing for all my troubles.Chuck S.

Have the right uhal vehicle ready for the customer. It really put us in a bind as we had a guaranteed order for a 26 foot u haul. Ray did his best by putting a trailer on the back of a 10 foot u haul. We had to make many trips back and fourth and then were 1.5 hours late and charged for the late return. And we were unable to pack our very expensive upright deep freezer as there was no dollies, blankets or ramp to get it in the small u haul. Just very disappointing!Craig G.
