Truck was clean but had mechanical issues. Not a problem with the location, an issue with U-Haul's maintenance (facility had already reported the issues to U-Haul). - Cargo door sticks at about 1 foot open. Difficult to open further. - Something in the rear (wheels? gear box?) makes a strange metal-on-metal scraping sound when driving at moderate speeds or above (15+ mph) - Driver door lock wouldn't turn with the key at one point. Had to get in through the passenger side to unlock it, after which the key started to work again. - The gas gauge said I'd used about 1/8 of a tank for ~30 miles of driving. Added the 3 gallons suggested, and the gauge went back up to where it had been. Drove 1/4 mile back to the facility, and the gauge dropped the 1/8 of a tank again, as if I hadn't put anything into it! The App was also problematic. It complained repeatedly about network connection failures when trying to go through the return process, even though other apps were able to use the network just fine. Overall, I'd happily rent a truck from this location again, but I'm disappointed in my experience with U-Haul itself. The facility manager was friendly and helpful, taking care of the return steps in just a minute or two after I gave up on the app return process. The truck itself served its purpose. I was happy. Unfortunately customer service was horrendous. It took me over an hour to get the truck. The older lady behind the counter seemed to have no experience with the system and continuously called someone to help her and expressed how she doesn't like this store (as she was struggling). I found this incredibly unprofessional. I had made a booking online so it was supposed to be a simple pick up. The lady suggested I get a bigger truck with a ramp as I was transporting a couch. I appreciated that advise and she had to make a change in my booking but surely that's not an hour long process? Even when I returned the truck, it took me 20min to get my final receipt as there was another confusion on the mileage. Luckily I took a before and after photo to have for my own personal record. Make sure you have enough time (and patience) when you use this location. Take pictures of mileage and gas before and after use.Chanel S.

The owner of this U-Haul location was incredibly nice and patient with us as we worked to sort out the issue from our online rental. The U-Haul website has incorrect working hours for this location and needs to be updated. Although I rented the U-Haul truck for pick-up via the U-Haul app at 9:00am PDT, the site location does not have that capability and it did not open until 10:00am PDT and the owner can't open the system to rent out the truck until 9:30am PDT at the earliest. We also wanted to pick up a mattress cover while we were there and he actually gave it to us for free for our troubles! So overall, the site was wonderful, but the U-Haul website needs to be updated. I won't ever book a truck through the website again after these issues because this is not something I want to experience when moving.MADISON S.

Trainee was horrible. Co-worker did not intervene to preserve customer satisfaction. Very passive. She let the new employee fail miserably and lost myself as a customer. Explain the safe mode fee. This was never explained. Explain if we're not back by time estimated on form. what are the options. As we all know sometimes it's faster than you thought and sometimes it's longer. I felt like I was chastised for calling and asking my options on returning next morning versus after designated time on form. I even confirmed the latest time to drop back that day. It was a fine location and a fine rental; Uhaul's somewhat terrifying policies on fuel return are a bit draconic, however. I wouldn't mind if Uhaul filled up any missing fuel and charged you for it rather than threatening you with a $30 fee and additional punitive measures.EVAN MARSHALL T.

Another truck rental service I had reserved with for a week in advance did not deliver, and only let me know they had no trucks the day of my move. The clerk in the store was not wearing a mask at pick up or drop off, nor was there any glass or plexiglass barrier between the customer and the clerk. He also made an odd comment about my name - nothing I would have mentioned but since you asked. I appreciate the convenience of the location. I rented a furniture dolly that we didn't get at the rental but were charged for. When my husband called and told u haul we were told they would call us back and adjust the price but no one has. Good location & truck, subpar corporate customer service.Andrew S.
We talked on the phone twice and thought everything was set up. We get to the truck and there were no keys. It was cold outside and we were checking other trucks to see if we had just gotten the wrong one. The uhaul 800 number wasnt working until after several tries. Then we had to go to a further location that didnt have dollies. It just made moving so much worse.Elizabeth D.

Be more accurate, the advertisement is misleading. $19.95 a day turns into almost $80, I had less miles than stated (7miles) and I was charged $15 for 3.5 gallons of gas! I only drove for 10 miles, that means that vehicle was getting 3 miles a gallon. UnbelievableCRISTIAN B.
My complaints aren't with the location but with UHaul itself. Your website was down and phone system so couldn't book. Worse yet your phone system didn't say it was down just had you on hold with a msg saying the next available staff person would be with you soon. When trying to pick up the vehicle, the locational services wouldn't work so it took over an hour to get the vehicle. UHaul gets an F in my book. It was a terrible experience and for all the time I spent trying to get the vehicle you should be paying me.ALEXANDRA B.
Not the fault of the location at all, but the the website was not working for returning the truck. Tried about 6 times with the error always happening on the last step of payment. Tried to reach customer service call with no luck, and had my partner try on her phone to complete the return process of checking out. The pickup process is insanely cumbersome. You ask for a plethora of absurdly redundant information at the WRONG time! We provided, credit card, address, driver license, phone number at the time of registration. THEN at pickup I provided a photo, the drivers license (AGAIN) and you ONLY THEN ask for a passport? or another contact???? My wife does NOT have a cell phone and she was with me...so when I provided our only other contact (HOME) of course you could not find anybody (plus, your number is flagged as spammer by local phone companies). So I provided my company info...and even that was not sufficient! Fortunately we have a daughter...but if someone is either single or with nobody home, they would better go elsewhere to rent a truck!!! Sorry, this was the worst experience I had with renting anything...ever.Andrea P.
