Laura O.U-haul used to be my go to place for truck and trailer rentals.Lately when I make a reservation I receive an email later stating that my pickup location has been changed. When it is with a truck rental and I have o pay mileage it can add to the overall cost and due to this I have cancelled several reservations due to a change in pickup location. U-haul has become a last resort for my rentals due to this.

Vicki M.I like Redman's, they are a good company. If they are responsible for trailer maintenance then they dropped the ball. The right rear tire was bald and had two slices at least an inch long and a place that a bubble was forming. Road service: staff up to answer your phones, don't tell me to go to Uhaul/help and be in control of the entire process. Uhaul should answer a phone call not keep me on hold for over 40 minutes...

Robert S.I went to pick up a truck at 7 pm, and the business closed at 5, but it was set up in a way where I had to go to the counter to pick up the truck. I was there for an extra hour trying to get it fixed with customer service on the phone, time that I had planned to be loading up the truck. Additionally, I ordered moving blankets, they were not provided.
Samuel D.I believe the staff should inspect all of the trucks before they are rented. The day after I returned the truck we used a staff member called me to say that the ramp in the back was bent. I explained to the staff member that it was already bent when we got the truck. We didn't use the ramp for that reason because it looked messed up to begin with. He said okay no problem and hung up. Then they charged me $12 for gas when I returned the truck at the level it was when I got it. When we got the keys initially they said the truck had a half a tank of gas and it needs to have a half a tank when we brought it back. I checked the gas as soon as we got the truck and it wasn't half full. It was under the half mark by about a half of an inch. So I replaced the gas we used and made the tank back to the level it was at when we got it. Got charged for gas we didn't use Everything else was great and the truck was a big help. Just wish staff did better inspections of their vehicles before each renter to ensure people aren't being accused of other peoples damage done

Steve V.WE were told the truck had 3/8 of a tank of gas. When I drove off I realized that it was on empty so I immediately had to get gas so I wouldn't get stuck. I should receive a refund for the 3/ 8's of a tank of gas. I did not appreciate this.

Mallory B.My experience with the staff at Redmans was good. No complaints there. Truck wasn't cleaned but not a big deal for my moving purposes. Interior was covered in dirt and animal fur. The tire maintenance light was on as well. Truck could've used a little attention before being rented out.

daniel M.The truck's engine light was on during the entire 8 hour period. The Tow/Haul light was also on, whatever that was? The ride was a little rough in places. Overall, the 15-footer was quite good at higher speeds. Very clean in the back. Ramp was a god sent seen we were moving some bulky pieces from an artist's studio into storage. My 2nd rental with Redman's in Bristol CT. Very professional and helpful. USB port was a plus for my phone. That was not on the van I rented end of December.
