My experience with the staff at Redmans was good. No complaints there. Truck wasn't cleaned but not a big deal for my moving purposes. Interior was covered in dirt and animal fur. The tire maintenance light was on as well. Truck could've used a little attention before being rented out.Shelly R.

The truck's engine light was on during the entire 8 hour period. The Tow/Haul light was also on, whatever that was? The ride was a little rough in places. Overall, the 15-footer was quite good at higher speeds. Very clean in the back. Ramp was a god sent seen we were moving some bulky pieces from an artist's studio into storage. My 2nd rental with Redman's in Bristol CT. Very professional and helpful. USB port was a plus for my phone. That was not on the van I rented end of December.Nick R.

What to mention the front passenger's side front tire should be examined incase of a slow leak in the vehicle I had rented. Drove to the state boarder that's when the low pressure light went on. We stopped at a gas station and brought the air level up (didn't trust the instrument gauge on the pump so we only brought it up at minimum to ensure the warning light would not trigger). From that point we made it back to the rental place without incident on the same day renting the truck just after the business office had closed on Saturday,. As instructed, I had also filled up the gas tank prior to dropping off the truck at the rental place. It was a pleasure to do business with you, your business location was so convenient and everyone I had talked with were so kind and helpful, this includes your main rental center who directed me to various rental locations nearby! This is the second time I've rented a truck with a dolly and both times there has been an issue upon returning with getting charged twice for the dolly. I could not complete the mobile check in due to the extra charges. I think this needs to be addressed. Other than that everything was good.salvatore C.

There was an ant colony in the back of the truck it had clearly not been checked, looked over or cleaned. The staff member on site brushed me off like it wasn't an issue. When I complained to him he then walked away, when I was in the middle of explaining my frustration. During this pandemic we are currently in each truck should be checked and cleaned for safety. The site was well run despite the pandemic with the ability to reserve the UHaul on-line and the staff at the location were efficient and displayed good customer service. The actual UHaul was clean and drove well. The only complaint I have is that the windshield wipers were falling apart, a fact I only noted when it started to rain. This was both wipers and this should have been taken care of during maintenance well before the truck reached me. I suggested that it not be rented out again until this was fixed and staff at Redman agreed with this.Thomas A.
Something was squealing from the moment we picked it up, like a brake or a bearing. Exhaust was loud. Front suspension and steering should be evaluated by a certified mechanic, fair amount of clunking and banging over minor road cracks, driving over these in a corner made the truck very unpredictable and hard to control. Fair amount of driveline vibration while accelerating uphill when loaded, feels like transmission slipping or engine misfiring. Safety latch on ramp very hard to move, and does not spring back in place, ramp could come out while driving. Did not appreciate the blankets and dolly that took up space in the truck, and would cost me money if I moved them. Did not exceed 45 mph due to safety concerns. Got the job done but an inexperienced driver could have had problems. Salt in the wound was when I returned this truck I parked it next to what appeared to be a brand new truck of the same size.Tom B.

The staff at this location went out of their way to make sure the trailer was ready and hooked up to my vehicle. However. I have an issue with an individual from Uhaul themselves. They were in a Uhaul vehicle and the staff at Redman's stated the subject was from Uhaul Traffic. Their is a police report that involves this individual regarding threats that was made.Ray Z.
