I rented a trailer and a truck from Triple A Pawn. The trailer was not there when I went to pick it up. Uhaul calls me and says they don't have one but Reggies Lock and Key did. So, I go there to rent it. Uhaul also tells me there are no large trucks at either of those locations. I had to go 40 miles aways to Dumas to pick it up. I called Triple A and simply replied that they never said they could have the truck, only that they would try to get one. Imagine the stress on moving day! Reggies Lock seemed to know very little about Uhaul policies. They had it rented to me to return for a day. I asked them if I could leave it off in Hot Springs, which was 2 1/2 hours away. They said that was fine. When I took it to Uhaul in Hot Springs, they said I couldn't do that. I had to take it back 2 1/2 hours to where I got it in Monticello. If I left it there, I would have to pay a $250 penalty fee! We had hired movers to load. So, we drove to Dumas where there were great and helpful people to get the truck. Then my wife had to drive the pickup and trailer back to Monticello to deliver it and pay more money for being late. We left it off. Then she still had to follow me all the way back to Hot Springs. It was a nightmare.
