I will never use this location again or refer anybody. I felt racially profiled. I was feeling very ill this weekend and didnt want the hassle of going to the counter at Uhaul. I opt to rent a U-Haul truck without going inside the store using Truck Share 24/7 that I have used this way in the past. I made a reservation 24 hours ahead on the U-Haul app on my smartphone. I wanted to have the option to pick up the truck, and return truck at any time, day or night, entirely bypassing the rental counter since I was sick. I was trying to move items from my home to my storage unit. The next day I went to rent the truck using the app. My drivers license and lease were verified through the app. I went to the back of the truck to get the keys then an older lady comes out and tells me that I need to come inside and that I cant just take the truck bc they need a photo copy of my drivers license and fill something out. I explained that I have already completed this process through the app. Then a man comes out to say the process is different that I needed to come inside. I go inside feeling sick had to stop the contactless process through the app. I walk inside with them and again I advised them the reservation was done online 24 hr prior and I have confirmed my information through the app. The man sits down and I am still standing and he looks at his computer and calls my first name. He tells me oh everything is good to go and that I am verified already. He started asking if I was doing an in town move, how long I would have the truck for? All questions that were previously answered through the app. He did not apologize and state that he was wrong and I was right from the beginning. He explained some dry story that he usually would have the key ready in the back of the truck if he seen the reservation. I am sick and they wasted 10 mins of my time all because they didnt believe me bc I am african american and I got the sense that they thought I am stealing a Uhaul truck. Keep in mind I have done this contactless 24.7 truck share before without the annoying hassle from the staff inside to reverify myself after it was confirmed through the app. When I returned the truck the lady and man were waiting for me outside. I couldnt even complete the drop off process through the app without a thousand questions from the staff. Nobody needs to be stressed like that over a Uhaul truck. I would never go there again. If they were the only Uhaul location in my area I would have driven an hour just not to deal with them again. Horrible manners and customer service skills. They need to learn how to treat people of all races and check their system before they interogate people and ask repeated questions that are outlined on the reservation. Lastly the truck was dirty and 1 other safety issue was that the windshield had a big crack in it. They so stressed about me instead of cleaning and fixing their trucks. Do better not worse!

My initial drop-off location was Auto Tint & Accessories 9920 Wesley St Greenville, TX 75402 When I went to drop off the UHaul at this location, it was closed due to the owner passing away. I did not receive any update from UHaul about a change in drop off location. I found out from someone who happened to be at that location at that time. I then needed to research a new location, call them, and proceed to the new drop-location at 2401 Interstate Hwy 30 E Greenville, TX The owner at the new drop off location was extremely helpful, kind, and professional with the matter. My comment for improvement would be to ensure customers are being updated with these changes immediately.

Vehicle had very little fuel in it when I picked it up, used it for local transport and low fuel warning light came on about 25 miles. I didn't top it off before bringing it back but I definely put more fuel in it than I ran out of it. I thought rental vehicles policy was "start with full tank bring it back wirh full tank". I geuss not
