Tammy SCustomer service was top rate! Our trailer connector for lights had an issue, a slight adjustment of a pin and dielectric grease and we were in action. Worked for the entire trip with several disconnects and reconnects.
UNE WWay of contact about equipment was not ideal. Was closed early on Saturday before scheduled business hours then completely closed on Sunday and then closed early on Monday. Had issues with not getting equipment for my move but still was charged for the equipment dolly I never received.
Michael DAlthough there was no problem with the person I dealt with at this location, I was very dismissed by how I was treated by the online team at U-Haul. I started my reservation after answering an offer through the U-Haul app for a one-day truck rental for $45.95. When I went to the U-Haul office at 222 Trenton St., Browns Mills, NJ--the person said that the actual charge would be around $73+, which I paid through a credit account. Over the weekend, though, I see that I was also charged over $100 with no details as to why. So an initial offer of $45.95 secretly turned into an amount over 4 times that, so I'm no longer dealing with U-Haul again and I'm getting legal help to find out if I should sue for this.

PHILIP EI reserved a truck at the Southampton location over a week prior, NOT Browns Mills. Expected a truck in Southampton. Also reserved 2 dollies. NON were available at any near by location.

Jeffrey HI don’t like the fact that, I’m going to be charge for extra mile I didn’t do I only drove 43 miles going and coming back which is another 43 miles and I have pictures to proof it. No one shouldn’t be charged me $175 dollars for 200miles which I didn’t do.

ben pI selected the contactless, mobile check in option. It didn’t work. I tried to check in online but it would show a failure to load screen. This was not a service provider issue. I tried resetting the app and the phone, nothing. I had to go in and ask to check in, but he was already talking with other customers. Due to the inability to check in online, we started 40 minutes later than expected….

MAUREEN CTruck needs control arm bushings, an alignment, and there's a weird noise I think is the tires, but overall for a well used truck it served its purpose.

Alyssa TThe check engine light was on for the whole trip - the tire light was on for much of the trip. When I reported it, the manager said he had not been given the authority to make the engine repairs although he runs a vehicle repair and maintenance business. Otherwise the truck was in good shape. The manager is terrific - helpful, understanding and easy to work with.

ritchard cI rented the uhaul while it was dirty and was charged a cleaning fee along with gas fee. I fueled up the tank to where it needed to be before I returned it. The cleaning fee is ridiculous because the uhaul was horribly maintained. The seats were torn and unkempt. Not recommended again.

Richard BThe man who runs Reliable was great. Nice, kind, courteous. Very helpful in hooking up the trailer. Last U-Haul location I was to - I was on my own. Luckily, I already knew how to hookup a trailer and use it. However, when a particular trailer is ordered a month in advance - find a way to get it to the location it is ordered to. I ordered the 5x8 enclosed trailer - which is all I needed - ended up with the 6*12 - causing my tolls to double - and weight to be higher than I wanted. If all I can get is a 6*12 then I will not rent next time because I can get a 6*12 from work for FREE. And it is single axel not double! The trailer ordered not being on location at Reliable is not Reliable's fault it is U-Haul's.

Anthony FWas rescheduled twice after making a reservation,then charged twice for the extra mileage, no receipt sent to my email, now I have to go back to get this taken off my account. I was charged twice 54.99 for the extra miles, not happy. I was quoted 151.00 I went 50 miles over I was charged 203.00 , then I was charged 54.99 , and no receipt , I feel like I was robbed very frustrating. I read reliables review this is not the first time that this has occurred.

Maria AThe seatbelt light kept coming on even though I had my seatbelt and passenger side clicked. The tire pressure gauge sensor light stayed on the entire time. I tried to put gas in it and it filled up only a gallon and a half in and the gauge did not show I put any gas in even though it was going down. However, the owner/operator was very friendly and professional and these things were not his fault. The parent company has to maintain this vehicle better.
Robert LThe electronic system was not working correctly. Kept getting messages about seatbelts, trailer pull, tire pressure, etc. We filled the gas tank over what was in the tank when we got it. I was charged $9.50 for 2 gallons of gas!!!
