I was broke down called for information and he said get it to him then we'll discuss it, well if I'd turned it in at another location instead of trusting him I could have save my 32.00 I paid towards an upgrade where he was so busy had to go to the school to pick up his kid that we didn't discuss upgrade it was just a flat NO she rented it and drove it off so no upgrade I should have dumped it else where at another U-Haul where they said they'd do an upgrade. Very disappointed. Bad experience all around. I've loss my home again o storage cause I can not afford to go get it and my X won't help me either.Beverly B.

Renees was fine. Overall experience with the uhaul reservation and express check in/check out was terrible. I made my reservation online but finally had to call customer service because I kept getting error messages from uhaul.com. I tried to select safemove and the link kept taking me to purchase moving supplies. I contacted customer service to see if my reservation took or if I had booked multiple reservations....I had no idea. I had selected a 730 am pickup but a 1200 pickup time was on my reservation. I called the uhaul pickup location to see if I could indeed pickup my truck at 730. They said sure, the truck is ready and waiting for you. I arrived at 745 the following morning and did the online check-in. Message said you are checked in, see you at 1200 could go no further. I called customer service again, 10 min. on hold, then once I explained situation, they reset my pickup time to 815. I said thank you and proceeded to check in. There was no place on my phone that would let me pick up the truck. I called customer service again, 15m wait, again explained my dilemma. They reset the pickup time again. This time I stayed on the phone with them.....good thing I did. Again the reservation was there but there was no button to pick up truck. Customer service could not figure it out so I was sent to a manager who finally checked my truck out for me over the phone. I had arrived at pick up location at 0745, finally left with my truck at 0915, 1.5 HOURS later......well behind schedule for my delivery!!! Drop off was no better, my reservation would not allow me to return my truck, so call customer service AGAIN to turn truck in over the phone. Why even have an express check in and out if it does not work! I just got my bill and to add insult to injury I was charged a 25.00 cleaning fee. I have been a PENSKE customer for my business for years and decided to try uhaul for the convenience of local pickup and drop offs before and after store hours. After this experience I would have still been better off to drive 40 min to my Penske location pick up truck, drive 40 min back to my business for loading and delivery. They wouldn't take the 26 uhaul called and said they were overloaded so I took it all the way back to Jax after hours so I had no instructions. The next morning Southside office calls me and says I have to come back to town and drive the 26 over to Atlantic regency location to avoid charges. So I drive back to Jax to move YOUR truck 3 miles down the road because y'all didn't want to. It actually cost me more to drive back to town then back to Macclenny of my own time and money.JEFF E.
