Counter staff was great , truck was clean , truck maintenance is needed as steering wheel off centre, and around 60km massive wobbling is felt in rear end , would recommend a steering and suspension inspection all around .brent D.

The drop off via mobile was pretty simple. Here too however, I had issues. I requested this location for drop off initially and it was confirmed as such days in advance. On the day of pick up, another location was given on my paperwork and via mobile and email. Hours after pickup, the original location was texted to me as drop off and the app as well had that original location. I can't even describe how it came to be that ultimately I had three drop off locations. In the end, I had to call to ask where to drop it off as the contract indicates a charge for dropping at wrong location but I had a paper issued me in pick up office saying one location and a text message and online both stating another.Lynnette M.

The truck was dirty and it ran like it had a flat tire. The person who signed out the truck was very helpful. When I returned the truck the person behind the counter was very condescending when I asked if you still showed how much fuel the truck needed to put it back up to half. You used to show approximately how much fuel need from one level to another.Edward D.
I have used this company many times from different locations due what unit I need at the time. I am so pleased to say this was by far the best experience I have ever had with U-Haul. Staff was polite, knowledgable but not in a forceful way, and very helpful. Though I had to drive our of my way to pick up the unit it was worth the time to get such great experiences. I rented a car hauler 1 You could supply the right size ball 2 rear straps are needed 3 the biggest problem is the the fenders on the trailer are too high for newer cars so that I could not open the car door once the car was loaded otherwise a good experienceRobert P.

The van should never have beeen on the road. The front drivers side tire had little tread on it. It took two or three times trying to start it each time I started it, the floor in the back needed repair, I tripped on it and all the guy would say is , I noticed that yesterday but didn't think it was that bad!! I spent 8 hours in hospital after I tripped on the floor. The service from this location was terrible.JAMES P.

Although the pick-up coincided with the Roger's network outage, the agent was of minimal help in processing the release to me. After speaking to 7 people and 90 minutes, completing an online process I was finally on my way. The agent did nothing to assist except hand me over the key once I provided a confirmation number Further the truck had less than 1/4 of fuel and the speedometer was both erratic and totally incorrect. I returned the truck with the tank 1/2 full (approx $80 more fuel). I also returned the truck in the late afternoon over 12 hours early. There was no agent available for check-in, and all the store attendant did was take the key. The next morning despite having returned it with twice as much fuel as when I picked it up (not that I was looking for a refund or credit), but I was charged $20 to drop it off early. Communication with the Uhaul rental location owner would be very helpful. As he was not aware of the rental, as I used uhaul telephone booking. So I had to wait at the location as a result. When I could have waited before going to pick up the rental. Other than that. It was the easiest and quickest rental I have ever experienced.Steven W.

We were very disappointed when our truck we booked 3 week in advance wasn't even there for pick up and the guy at the uhaul said oh I guess you can go to Brant fuels and get one. We then got to Brant fuels and had nothing for us to rent. Then sent us to simcoe to get a 15 ft to rent (we had prebooked and needed a 26ft) so then they said we could pick up a trailer that was available at the first place we were supposed to get the truck. When my husband got back there 3 hours later after running all over. The 26 ft truck was there. So they told him he could now take that and he needs to return the 15 ft back to simcoe first. This was the most awful experience we have ever had and they told us we would only pay half the price then charges us full. I will never use them again. Not to mention when my husband finally got back from returning the 15ft to get the 26 ft the guy left the office and didn't come back for and hourâ€¦â€¦â€¦. Our planned move that was supposed to start at 9 am didn't even start till 1pm and cost us about 100$ in gas running all over to get our scheduled truckâ€¦..Nick H.
We were supposed to get the 26 foot truck but when we got there our truck wasn't there the person before us didn't return the truck on time we were told we had to go to tillsonburg to get another truck while associate was speaking on the phone to uhaul he was informed that someone just took it only thing left available was a 15 ft truck we were offered to have it from May 30th to June 1st with extra kilometers that we didn't have to pay for the associate that we were dealing with was great with us I feel bad for him that he has to deal with this because of other people's stupidityMelissa B.
