Have and showed videos to uhaul oh the trailer literally bouncing off the road every rotation, and teter-taughtering back and forth from wheel to wheel. We have used several units and never had this issue. We had 3 vehicles to transport, and were only able to successfully move 1 around. Was too dangerous to haul it 40 minutes to the next location with how it was handling at even 28mph. The owner of the store it came from proceeded to try to call and then email me and tell me how they are just noisy and I wouldn't be refunded because I was able to "completely my journey" Glad to know he knows exactly what we needed done with the trailer while we had it more than we did... Rental was for 3 vehicles to be moved around, 1 from NY, 1 from Saint joseph to Coloma, and one from bridgman to Coloma. We can have the auto repair shot testify that we indeed had a vehicle waiting to be picked up and we're not able to do so. Benton harbor(emergency drop off location since we were too scared to drive it to scheduled drop off location) didnt have another unit to swap it with either, thus the reason for refund request so we can rent the unit from a location/company who has one in working order. They seem nice people but They charged me additional $35 cleaning fee which was not good. The Cargo van inside was clean but may be little dust since I see for moving stuff from one location to another location. After returning the car I can clean that in 5 minutes with a broom or brush if they told me that they will charge me $35 if it is not clean. I will not go to this location anymore, not happy with them. If they don’t charge this cleaning fee, their service is ok.

Gail CPoorly set up. The key location was located across a busy street. Today was snowy, the u haul was not scraped off I didn’t have a snow brush. The lot in which the u haul was stored was not plowed. The check in and check out process in the app took forever to load. Overall this made my move which was already stressful enough more stressful. I would not recommend this service.

STEVEN WDidn’t know what to do when I got there, called the local number listed on the reservation. He was irritated and rude about my call and said I have nothing to do with U-Haul, we don’t open until 11, you just use the app. Don’t you have the app? Was already going to be a stressful day, didn’t need to be talked to like that first thing in the morning. Should have been clear when reservations made to use the app only and informed about the process being online only.
Jenny CTruck and trailer were not hitched together and they were parked in a boxed in location that required me to move a separate trailer myself to get the equipment out.

Jean-marc DYou might consider stocking extra lightbulbs for your trailers; teach your staff how to maintain their equipment; think about checking the tail lights on your trailers before putting them on customers trailers; teach your staff how to effectively attach a trailer to a ball hitch. After determining the attendant didn't have the tools nor extra bulbs for the first 6x12, he switched me to another trailer on the lot - which also had a non-functioning rear tail light. I had to change out the light myself. Upon switching to this 2nd trailer he assured me he would update it in "the system." He did not do this (all the while complaining about Uhaul in general). The attendant at pickup had no idea how to check the bulbs (other than switch out a wiring harness), and hadn't secured the outbound trailer to my hitch. It fell off as I pulled out in the road. His response was "oh, I thought I attached it." Had it not been for the safety chains, this would have destroyed the undercarriage of my vehicle. The staff member apologized, and then tightened the trailer onto my ball hitch. I then tightened it even further (meaning he STILL hadn't secured it). I would not recommend using this site in the future.
Thomas SOver charged for the trailer. Location is closed on weekends so when we returned the trailer it was a Saturday. afternoon No way too let anyone Saturday.know it was back. But when we got the final bill a 3 rd day was added to it without consent from me.

matthew hOlder gentleman was helpful and knowledgeable. Younger guy didn’t know the difference between a 2.5 in drop and a 3.5 inch drop for the trailer hitch. I had to explain it to him. Would not trust the younger guy to hook your trailer up.
