I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation which was made online. It took the attendant more than 45 minutes to get it to go through while I had 4 men at a cost of $100 per hour waiting at my house. Once again, no contract was presented to me. I just looking at the contract that was emailed to me and once again, the Safe Move was added even though I did not have it on my original reservation and told the gentleman serving me that I did not want it. There is no document that I signed authorizing this. I want it credited back to my account. Since this is the second time it happened, it will be the last time. If you look back at my record, I rent frequently. Next time, or if the money is not credited back to me, I will be contacting Wisconsin Consumer Protection agency and request punitive damages since I am sure I am not the only one who this has been done to.

Process was awful. Went to three locations to get truck. Either closed no truck that size. Place I was to get truck was closed early. They did not return call. Reserved another for next am with 800 uhaul. Place was not open on time rude attendant. Wrong size truck there not the 20 foot needed. On return the location closed and this was 4pm. No help called them he didn't help. Found another locatio. To return. There was a guy so damn rude. But then a very nice kid checked in truck. I should be refunded some of this bill for unreasonable problems uhaul has

Already recommended to my granddaughter as she moves next week. Rhodes people are friendly and courteous and their overall knowledge of the business had me on my way shortly after I got there. 5 thumbs up for Uhaul and Rhodes!

Never got a call, so went to Waukegan. We're told our things were at Rhodes, so we drove back to Kenosha. Our truck was there, but we had to drive to another location in Kenosha for The dollies, mattress cover and box we ordered. They had no clue and gave us the dollies and luckily had a mattress cover and box they could give us. The run around was ridiculous. Everything should have been in the truck ready to go.

They struggled to get the computer to do all the paperwork, stood at the counter 50+ minutes. Then they did not have a hitch receiver which was prepaid so I had to run out and purchase one. Then they did not have an adaptor for my lights, so again I had to run out a purchase one. Frustrating.

I was given the wrong information about paying for the uhaul trailer from the woman I spike to on the phone at uhaul. Therefore, me being a 24 year old female, traveled across the country with $250 because instead of having to pay for the trailer when I dropped it off at my destination LIKE I WAS TOLD WOULD HAPPEN, uhaul took $650 out of my account, of which I was supposed to use for a hotel and food and gas. I had to borrow money from others just to get to AZ from IL because money was taken out of my account, 7 days prior to what it should have been. In my eyes, that is a GIANT mistake, and it caused me a ton of problems, stress, and issues along my 30 hour trip. I hope someone will sort this out the way that it should be. I would never have made the trip if i would have known that was going to happen. I would have made other arrangements. Instead, I suffered because someones lack of knowledge and correct information. Something that could have been easily avoided. I would never want anyones child to go through what I had to because of someone elses mistake.

You can rest assured that that if what you rent is anything like I had your experience will be pleasant. Really great truck with all accessories you may need and a simple process in and out. Very convenient and well worth the money. It was above my expectation.

Spend money to repair equipment, let the left hand know what the right hand is doing, improve communication, have employees who know what they're doing make arrangements, and honor promises made to customers.

It took us over 1 hour for paperwork to get completed due to the on line web page at the location. They had to restart the computer 2 times. Ended it doing it manual. It as much time to get the truck as I had the truck. They did not offer anything to compensate for my time

I made an online reservation for a 5x8' trailer for 9am pickup. They were not ready for me and had me in the system as a 2:30 reservation. When I arrived, there wasn't a 5x8 trailer and there wasn't going to be one at all. I ended up with a 6x12' trailer, which I wasn't happy with.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. I booked the 2 uhaul trucks and an auto transport for one price then they changed the price and location of drop off with no notification. I was told 5 different places to drop my equipment off when I was done. Now they are billing me over $700 because I dropped it off at the wrong location. The people that work in their locations and their customer service line are so rude. Don't waste your time or money. Use Budget or Penske for your moving needs.

very nice, friendly, helpfull, hooked up the trailor, went over everything, and did it while keeping a light friendly feeling. I have rented befor from UHAUL and I will this my primary UHAUL location from now on even though I have to drive past 2 other locations to get there. Great people

Horrible customer service. The man who helped us was very nice but not so great at multitasking. I understand the U-Haul website was down and things were moving slow, but we waited for almost an hour to pick up a vehicle (after I had already used the "express" check in via the U-Haul website on my phone). I understand other customers were quicker to attend to as they were just picking up vehicles or paying for oil changes, but I don't think that just because our process was more involved we should have had to wait longer. It wasn't until all of the other customers (even customers who came in after us) were tended to that we were finally taken care of. Now, had the guy been working with us and the process took almost an hour, then I think our experience would have been a bit better because we wouldn't have been pushed to the side to wait while he took care of other customers. The vehicle itself was alright. There was a hole in the aluminum siding or roof that was covered with duct tape and because it was pouring, the inside of the vehicle had a puddle in the corner. The man was nice enough to have someone go out and squeegee it which was great because we were moving a mattress and didn't want it to get wet. This was not a big deal and didn't really affect my negative experience with the pick up location, but the slow customer service did and I will not recommend this location in the future.

There was some confusion over the pickup time. I received several emails with different pickup times, none of which were the actual correct time. I ended up calling several times to reconfirm over the 48 hours prior to the rental.

My reservation was taken online 48 hours before pickup, which I realize is short notice, however, there was no mention made of the fact that there was no such equipment available in my area. Then, less than 24 hours ahead, I was informed that I had to drive 60 miles ( one way) to pick up my trailer ! Now, it was less than 24 hours til I was leaving to pull this thing cross country and I spent 4 hours acquiring the trailer !

The guy at Rhodes was great. He knew the other location messed up so he tried his best to get me out of there quickly and it was appreciated! I would have appreciated a call from UHaul rather than a text and email telling me the truck would be three hours later than I reserved. I would NOT recommend the other location; they were not very useful or helpful.
