It is very unfortunate that I made a reservation for a specific size truck at a specific location 3 weeks in advance of my move date & I got a call 2 days before my move date that the truck size I wanted at the location I wanted was not available. I would have had to go to a location further away. Keep in mind you guys charge us for mileage. If the size truck I want is not going to be available at the location I want, then that should be told to me when I originally make my reservation. You guys would have everything in your system telling you if it's available or not. But NO, you just take the reservation knowing full well the size truck I wanted wasn't available at the location I wanted. Instead if I wanted a bigger truck I could have gotten it but I would have had to go to a location further away to get it AND pay the charge for mileage. Yeah, no thanks. You should not charge your customers the added mileage if you do not have the size truck available at the location they request. It's very simple, don't take the reservation then for that location OR you pay the difference in mileage OR as a business practice find the right size truck & have it brought to the location requested. How will I know the next time I make a reservation if the truck I want will be available at the location I want? I won't until 2 days in advance. I'm not the only one this has happened to. This is a poor business practice if you ask me.

I received a voicemail from a Brian a couple days ahead of my scheduled pickup asking if I could change the pick up to the night before and drop off before 11am the next day. Since it was on my way, I stopped at the pick up location to discuss this and the very nice cashiers informed me A-no Brian worked there and I was not the only person to receive sick a message and B- I was still good for the original schedule. I decided to Google the number the call came from and it wasn't registered to a business but an unknown personal cell. Everything went smoothly and was met with courtesy by the Rhodes staff. Unfortunately I believe u-haul has a scammer on its records and I hope others follow the same procedure I did, go in person just to be safe and don't call back. Other than that I was happy with the prices, process, and overall experience.

Don’t charge me for extra miles when you change my requested pick up and drop off locations to ones that combined added over 20 miles of extra driving. It’s bad enough I need to incur the gas cost and additional drive time to relocate your truck fleet. I shouldn’t have to invite e yes mileage fees as well.

Inform customers that If they don't return the vehicle before a certain time you are charged double even if you haven't used it for 24 hours.
