It was raining, I had to walk back and forth across a 5 lane road in the rain. The hitch was in the mud so by the time I was done hooking up the trailer my hands were filthy. My feet were soaking wet from the mud and standing water on the lot. I'm not really sure what the point was to the pre-check-in because it still took quite a while to get it done. The lady working was very friendly and helpful. My overall experience with Uhaul is that I would have been better using a different company. The customer service is terrible. I ordered a trailer, a furniture dolly, 12 blankets, & a roll of furniture wrap. I had to go to 4 different locations to get everything because no effort was made on Uhaul's part to do a better job organizing their rental supplies.Jarrett S.

Despite paying and checking in online the rental was not confirmed by location. After being subjected to picking truck up 60 miles from preferred location, I was also delayed 45 minutes trying to reach someone from U-Haul.Scott S.

This experience was the worst we have ever had trying to rent a truck. I called 2 days ahead to confirm our truck since there was severe weather in the area we were. I was told no problem by the call center. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! No truck when we go to get it. The nasty places you allow to rent your trucks is awful. We were sent hour and a half away to pick up a truck and was told to use our â€œsmart phoneâ€ to check it Out. NO SERVICE. This kind of business practices will ruin your Company. I requested a larger truck but there was not one available. When I asked if there would be some free miles given, the lady said that the difference in the cost of the rental was all she could do. She seemed confused with her computer and it took over 30 minutes to get to the contract. Then we went outside with a broomstick and some X stickers and it took her another 20 minutes to mark all of the damage spots. The truck was filthy and the tow feature was stuck in the "on" position, no doubt costing extra gas. Then upon return, I was reminded that the truck must be swept out and the moving blankets folded in order to avoid extra charges. I did this and parked the truck where I was told. All this and when I got in the truck there was less than a quarter of a tank of gas! My first stop was the gas station. My laborers were paid for the extra time that they were unable to work because of the delay and the extra time it took for the move. Not a good experience at all.Doris C.

I would not recommend Uhaul ANYWHERE to anyone, my worst experience ever, you guys are not true to your word, you don't stand behind what you advertise, i chose to be contacted by email because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize but yet you claim you called me from a 5 digit number, when nobody in this world would answer a 5 digit number they don't recognize. I was iinconvenienced 3 times this weekend by Uhaul by scheduling a pickup location to a town I didn't know how to get to, get to that location to find the truck was still not available, you (traffic dept) tells me the nearest location is in another town 50 miles away, because I was desperate I head towards the town, 10 to 15 miles down the road the location I was at calls (not text) I answered because it was a call from my area code, tells me the truck just made it in (are you kidding me I'm thinking) DESPERATE for this size truck I turn around again, at the location the truck was very dirty inside, seats were mudding, the location had to clean it, she even said this is disgusting, so NO, NO, No! I will not use or recommend Uhaul to Anyone. And I would like my $50 you advertise, because I darn well deserve it! This isn't the last you will here from me.Laurice F.

The check out time took over an hour, the reason given was the new computer system. I had to drive 30 min to pick up instead of 5 min. in my home town. The facility had no blankets. The trailer was perfect, the service on both ends needs attention.BRIAN O.

Check the truck you are renting. The brakes are bad drivers side front rotor making bad noise,fix driver side mirror it not stay set needs fixing,oil was low,not happy !Willard S.
We had a flat tire on driver's side front and had to call emergency repair. We also had to file an insurance claim for a water leak in UHaul roof which damaged our oriental rug and bed spread.Robert T.

My experience with the Eunice uhaul was good but my overall experience was horrible! The Crowley location was where my original pickup was supposed to be and the worker called to tell me my 20 foot truck that I had reserved was not there about 10 minutes prior to me picking it up!! We then had to call uhaul back and they told me all they could do was rent me a 15 foot truck that I had to go get 30 minutes away (one way) which completely messed up the entire move!!! Then they were out of dolly's which I then had to go rent for $20 something from a hardware store. I was told I would receive a $50 credit due to my truck not being there which I still haven't received! I will never use uhaul again!!! Very unprofessional!Rhonda D.
First you asked so I'm going to tell. I only used a uhaul truck out of necessity, not because I prefer UHAUL. As usual your dealers are poorly trained and your traffic CSR's and TCM's are rude and inconsiderate. I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick up my rental truck which meant that my rental was cut short. Also the extra gas I had to put in because of the distance between the house I was moving from and the pickup location was more costly to my rental charges. Next, I had to do the TCM'S job by finding my own rental vehicle and making sure my reservation was sent to that location. I never received a call from dealer or traffic office for scheduling, I had to call both of them the day of the pickup. I stressed the milage and fuel concern with the traffic office and yes, the TCM did add 50 miles to my rental but didn't allow for the extra fuel I would be buying. But the lady at the pick up location was very polite even if it did take her a while to do the contract because she was under trained. I even helped her trough the contract. Yes, I was a uhaul AFM and GM at 3 different stores in northern Indiana. So I know the uhaul program and the fact that uhaul does not guarantee the pick up location and I fully agree with it, but the fact that this Marketing Company didn't care at all about the extra cost and time lost was barely tolerable. Then the phone call I received from the pickup location after I dropped the truck off in my destination city stating that I was late returning the truck to her location, as if it were a local rental when it was in fact a one way just goes to show how poorly trained the dealers are.Pamela M.
