1) When we reached to this property to drop off the trailer, Mr Rick was not happy to see us. He told us that this 26ft truck had to be returned to Louisiana and not Florida !!!!! We were so tired from the entire trip and the last thing we wanted to hear was that this 26ft truck needed to be dropped off somewhere else, leave aside to a different state in USA. I tried calling Uhaul and in the meantime, Mr. Rick called out to 'someone' in Uhaul too. When I spoke with Jennifer from the Uhaul team, she said that I should leave the truck and trailer there. She wanted to speak to Mr. Rick but he was not interested and continued talking with 'someone' on his phone. Finally after finishing his phone conversation with 'someone', he went inside his cabin and said nothing to us. I then approached him in his cabin and told him that Jennifer from Uhaul team has told me to leave the truck and trailer, he simply frowned. He did not even give us an acknowledgment mail for the receipt of the trailer. Instead Jennifer, instantly sent one out to my email. I thought the whole thing was very insulting that you are not only not greeted in a friendly manner but also not responded and looked after. However, his 'helper', a Spanish gentleman was very kind and polite and helped us unhook the trailer from the truck. 2) I called Mr. Rick on Saturday evening and left a phone message informing him that the 26ft truck was empty (all furniture unloaded) and if he needed the 26ft truck, he was most welcome to send someone to pick up from my residence. My son was away and he could not be there to pick me up in my car once I dropped the 26ft truck at Mr. Rick's place. There was no reply from him at all. 3) I dropped the 26ft truck on Monday May 4, 2026 in the evening at Mr. Ricks property with my son. 4) I received NO phone call or email confirming the receipt of the 26ft truck. I called him on Tuesday, May 5 at 10,30am ET and reminded him. He told me that he would send me the email in 10min (max 30min). I got nothing from him. I called up the Uhal team and they instantly sent me the receipt for the truck whilst I was talking with them on the phone. I'm not sure why or who Mr. Rick was upset from the Uhaul team the other day but he cannot let out his frustrations on the customer. On the whole his property was very clean with adequate parking spots with a very friendly Spanish gentleman.

JENNIFER MI arrived 30 minutes early and the office was closed. A gentleman was left there to give me a key not knowing there was a check out process. I left with the truck only to have to return and sit in the parking lot for over 30 minutes trying to get it check out by phone. This was a complete disaster. Which I had extra miles to account for.
