The front of the truck was so dirty had dog hair all in it and mud and something was spilled between the seats . I plainly told the guy I'm not getting charged for this he said you won't . It stunk also . Horrible shapepam C.

Very dissatisfied with my recent U-Haul rental experience. My original contract was at Hal Greer location. When I was finally waited on I was informed that the 10' Uhaul I had reserved was unavailable and I would need to go to a different location, which was in the opposite direction of where I needed to go. I was informed that I would receive a reduction in mileage from .99 to .69. This does not compensate me for the added mileage and gas it created on my overall U-Haul trip, the added mileage and gas on my personal vehicle, and the loss of time I encountered at the beginning of my day, specifically, and also at the end.Stephanie J.

This was my worst experience ever with U Haul. The gentleman had no clue on my reservation and had to call it in. I asked him to walk around the truck with me to note any damages etc ... he yelled at me... â€œ don't worry about it you have insuranceâ€. The floor of the cab in the drivers side was covered in mud. I have always had great experiences with U Haul and I believe this to be the exception. I would never get another vehicle from this facility again. I was suppose to pick up truck in Ashland KY and had to go out of my way to get this truck. Major disappointment this time.Delores L.
Firstly, my truck was bumped from a Uhaul location just a few blocks from my house to a location fifteen minutes away in another town. Upon calling before I arrived, the owner badly explained that he had saved my truck from being rented out to others, leading me to believe my truck was gone - as if I had no reservation. Once at the location, I learned he had no credit card machine on site. He had to call the "headquarters in Charleston" to process my payment which took FOURTY FIVE MINUTES of being on hold, getting disconnected, and having him poorly explain to me why I was waiting / why the process was taking longer than any Uhaul experience I have ever had. Then I find out that despite reserving 4 dozen blankets, he had ZERO. I had to stop my morning, drive the truck to another uhaul location fifteen minutes away, and wait there for blankets. Because of these delays, we missed a transport appointment with an animal rescue agency to rehome our cat and it completely screwed up our already stressful day. I cannot explain the level of frustration I had on moving day because of this and I highly doubt I will use U-Haul for future relocation services.Jennifer R.

First of all , I was under the impression that I reserved the trailer at another site in Huntington Wv. When I called on Sunday to confirm the trailer for Monday , it was the wrong number texted to me , from uhaul .I drove 2 hrs and wasn't sure if I had a trailer or where to even pick it up. Upon picking up the trailer there computer system was down . Had to do everything over the phone to get back into the system. Told them I had a conformation number , I guess I didn't need that either . When I dropped it off in Marietta, they did a great job .Randy I.

I informed the agent that I would be stopping along the way and staying at a friend's house for a couple days and wouldn't be reaching Glenwood Springs until the 17th of October. I wanted him to make a note and inform the Glenwood Springs location that I would be there on the 17th instead of the 14th but he wouldn't. He also did not notated that I provided the electrical connection since he did not have one.MACKENZIE M.
The person in the office at the pick up location was very mean, incompetent and did not have a clue as to what as going on. He tried to re-run my credit card several times and could not comprehend that I had paid ahead and had a zero balance. I will NEVER deal with this location again.BRANDON E.

The U-Haul location on Bridge Street in Huntington, WV was filthy and unorganized. The U-Haul rep I dealt with was rude, short and took almost a half an hour to give me the paperwork and keys. He also added insurance when I did not request it. When I asked him about it, he said "I didn't tell him I didn't want insurance", but he never asked me if I wanted it. At every single U-Haul I've ever used previously, I've been asked if I want the insurance, it was never automatically added. I won't be using U-Haul again.omar A.

At Riders, I felt at home whereas every time I've been in the 9th Ave office (within the last 3 years that is), I've felt as if I was a burden to them. Trailer lights did not work properly and left rear tire almost went completely flat. I had to work on left side of rear lights to get at least some of them working. Also had to pump up tire and put a can of Fix-a flat in it to keep it inflated.MARK M.

I was originally scheduled to pick up Friday at 4:30. Called on Thursday, told this actual location I wouldn't pick up until Saturday, they said ok. Friday afternoon, got extremely nasty, yelling voice mail telling me I was supposed to be there and he wouldn't wait. I didn't ask anybody to wait. The gentleman who rented us the truck was very nice and friendly and helpful and actually reminded us about blankets we needed. BUT, the truck was A HORRIBLE ride and couldn't keep it straight and kept pulling. It also had a brake light out. was promised the trk in Ashland ky, where I needed it, went to 2 uhaul vendors, no truck, they transferred it all the way to Wva WITHOUT notice, no phone call as promised, had to get a ride to wv to get truck, then drive it back to ky where I online rented it to start with, waste of 2hrs while I had loaders waiting at house in ky. My original reservation was with the Fairfield location in Huntington, WV. That service was TERRIBLE! I will not ever you use that location again. And, I will not recommend it to anyone...I will tell them to go elsewhere whenever possible. They overbooked the truck, tried to send me 50 miles away, and did not call to let me know the situation. The employee inside the store was rude and unsympathetic as well as someone named Sherry whom he called while I was standing there. She spoke loudly on the phone and I could hear what she was saying through the receiver. They acted like they were the only ones who were inconvenienced by the fact that the truck I ordered was not available. That was one of the worst experiences of my life. as I understand, the trailer had to be acquired from another town and the door locking latch got hung up at the top when opened. THIS WAS U-HAULS FAULT, NOT THE DEALER! My things got wet sitting on the curb while I tried to free it up. The clearance between the lock/latch and the frame of the trailer was too close and gave me quite a problem trying to get it closed. It was clean enough, just not properly functioning and I was very upset by the design. It should have been simple. NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to prevent this - which should have been printed on the door!!!David P.

I had reserved the AT at the Hal Greer location. Fortunately, I checked the day before the scheduled pickup. They claimed that they had no AT reserved, even though it showed on the computer. I had previously confirmed the pickup by phone. No one called back to tell me that they did not have the AT. This did not make me happy!!! Fortunately, the Bridge St location had an AT.MILTON C.
