they Set that the gas tank was full when I took it. It clearly was not. I only drove 17 miles. So I couldn't have used more than 2 gallons of gas. But yet it was coming up as a quarter of a tank when I bought it back. I have put over $25 worth of gas for 7 gallons. And they did not refund me for like twenty dollars that I overfillEd. I only use the truck for 4 hours but got charged for the whole day. And they didn't have the smaller truck that I wanted. So I had to pay for the larger truck that I didn't needKaren AKA Kayla S.

The entire crew at Ripley's Rental was fantastic. From the pick up of the truck to the return, they were professional, pleasant and helpful. When our moving didn't go as well as we hoped and I needed to extend or delay my return of the truck, they worked out a solution with calm kindness and understanding. Your location was great using the app stank I had to enter my license and facial pictures twice and it took a half an hour to be able to get to the padlock to get the keys and then after I got the keys it took another 15 minutes to get approvedJohn L.

Drop off location ended up being fine, however, it required multiple calls to scheduling to arrange. First we were told the drop off would not change from requested location. Then we got a call saying we need to drop off 30 minutes away. When I called them, they said they were not expecting any drop off that day. Had to call scheduling again and they said we could drop off in original location after all. That staff also seemed surprised to be getting a drop off. BIG hassle for us on a very busy day of closing on our house and trying to unload in time.Mike H.

The initial experience was by far worse than terrible. I gave more than two weeks reservation request and they refused to guarantee pick up at the preferred location! The customer service center personnel are less than helpful or pleasant! I'll probably never use Uhaul again because there always has to be an issue with equipment even though every time I go to a location there is more than enough equipment around! People are just too lazy to do their job!Daniel A.

The truck appeared to be in good shape until we got it home and the rear door and latch were frozen solid. If that had been addressed prior to leaving the lot then the review would be perfectNed T.
I'm not sure it's possible to improve or fix it, but it was a huge struggle getting through snow, especially on the hills. Which is unavoidable to an extent but it was really bad. Maybe change to some better tires?Sam L.
I was given a location 90 minutes away from my requested location. I did not find this out until my day of rental. I was shocked this change could be made without notifying me. I was then told they would find one closer. My reservation was then canceled. Terrible renting experience. They clearly need more trailers in Minnesota.Kevin W.

I will never use uhaul again after having to drive over an hour just to pick up the trailer that was reserved for a close location... I cant believe that you would do that and will be posting multiple reviews of how Uhaul is doing this lately to people. Not even an offer for a discount for our inconveniences. On top of this, I was told that my military discount would not be valid either. I cant believe that uhaul would do that to people.JON M.

I called the day before and wasn't informed of the hours so I wasn't expecting to not see anyone. The website didn't show all the details under my reservation right away either. I had to go through a link in a text.Greg L.
This is not about Ripley's. It's more about Uhaul. It's frustrating that I had to pick up the truck 18 miles away from the location I booked it from - which is not my fault yet I have to pay $1 per mile for those 18 miles. It seems there could be a better system that the company could get the trucks to the locations where customers are booking them instead of taking advantage of the customer.Misty D.
