When I reserved my truck I reserved a appliance dolly which they didn’t have and I had to use a Utility dolly which was a bear to move appliances.

I was originally to return the equipment to River Neuse Basin Bait and Tackle. That location, described on your website, is no longer a U-Haul participant. There were three 12 volt outlets in the cab of the truck. None of them worked.

The trailer I rented had ants all in it and an oil from another vechile on the front and toung of of trailer I cleaned the ants out because I didn't have time to take it back but it's my fault for not looking inside before leaving the business thank you for the use of it

The team at River Towne were great, took time in the rain to go out an help me line up the trailer, lift it into place and test connections and lights. The paperwork was quick and painless, overall my best UHaul experience to date.

Drop off was straight forward. I dropped the truck and dolly off after hours and it was clear where to leave the equipment and keys.

The side view mirror on the passenger side needed to be tightened so that it would stay where placed. The middle seat belt was wrapped around the seat and not usable.

In their defense, we did not pick this drop off site, it was chosen for us and it was WAY out of our way and there are two such addresses so we went to the wrong one first, so this put us off. However, we arrived and had to wait for 15 minutes before anyone came to help us, then we were told that we were returning late by 30 minutes! Then he admonished us for going over the amount of miles that were free and gave us grief about the aforementioned blankets (we were under the impression that we had purchased them, UHaul would not want them back is what we were told). Perhaps he was not the regular check in person, but our experience was not very good here.

Advertisement states open at 7 a.m. you do not open til eight and I waited 45 min. To return trailer.other than that it went great. Had lots of help on hooking up and disconnect.

The truck smelled like stale cigarette smoke; needed air freshener sprayed in it prior to my rental. Otherwise, there were not problems with the equipment. Would recommend that the instructions for securing the truck and placing the key in drop box is BEFORE finalizing the charges screen. I had put the key back under the driver's seat as I found it. It was only about 2-3 miles down the road (after I was picked up) that those instructions came up. Therefore, we had to turn around, lock the truck and place the key in the drop box.

Billing was incorrect! First the mileage was wrong then the amount of days was wrong. Joseph Plant got it all straighten out very quickly !! I said NO to the final answer due to the billing problem. The folks at the location were Very nice and professional !

This location was awesome! However I will not use Uhaul again for moving. I reserved a truck over a month in advance to find out a few days before there was no truck in Havelock. Customer Service setup another appointment at a different location. Same thing again no truck. One day before I moved I was given to another location that was not even near my house.

The inside of the truck was dirty and stinky and It was not cleaned out. When driving it home the check engine light came on we told people when dropped off, not sure if they did anything about it.

the truck itself had a foul odor in the cab (like wet dog and moldy food). when driving it shook like crazy at highway speeds causing me to have to drive 50mph for 300 plus miles.
