The online truck return check out process was confusing. I put the key back in the appropriate lockbox upon return to pickup site but then was asked to take and upload photos of the odometer reading and gas tank. By that time those two things were no longer viewable on the instrument panel. People should be made aware of this error in the order of steps for checking trucks inGuana S.

The equipment was not at the rental location. I found this out 2 hours before my moving guys that I paid for were to arrive. I ended up finding a small truck available close to my location and took that one. I was only able to move part of the contents of my house. My sister had to keep the truck longer and load ourselves and make another trip to storage unit. We didn't finish until 10pm. I will not use uHaul again. Why make a reservation in advance if you don't have a truck guarantee.DEBORAH H.

Website said they opened at 8:30. I arrived at 8:45. Several people ignored me as they entered a chain gate with interaction. Finally asked a second person to get help. Finally told I could come into the office only to be told that she wasn't open yet, give me your key. No checking the truck...nothing. Left me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. It was a convenient location but service was not normal for UHaul at all.Connie B.
UHaul customer service refused to offer me a partial refund, Robs Auto Repair was not willing to give a partial refund. I will never use UHaul again due to the absolutely horrid customer service of the company. When I told customer reps this in person and over the phone, I was told to "go ahead and use another company". Thus, I will use another company in the future.Jonathan B.

He turned a bad situation into something bad but he had full authority to do so so beware....Cynthia A.

There was one major problem, both the rep on the phone and the email did not tell me that on Saturday it is a self-check in site. I waited an hour past the pickup time for them to open, only to find out I could have gotten the key from a lockbox. I did use the online check in, but it also did not tell me I could get the key from the box. Finally, the location answered the phone and helped me. I had people waiting to help me move, so this was not good.David V.

Unfortunately we were having some trouble with the padlock that held the key. The owner of the site was thankfully there, however before we got a hold of him, I reached out to uhaul help and the person I spoke to was ZERO help. There should be a better way if there is an issue. She just kept saying words to try in the pad lock that made no sense. Very frustrating. I am grateful the owner was there and was able to help. For after hours rentals, I think if there would have been a pad lock issue, uhaul needs to me more accommodating and helpful.Chris H.

Uhaul charges too much per mile. Budget is cheaper, 50 cents cheaper! And they have coupons/discounts to use. Even for local runs. Unfortunately I may look at budget and use them in 2 weeks. Love the location. The gentleman were super nice and awesome. And great customer service. Just uhaul charges more then budget. I feel they should be cheaper.Julian P.

Rented car trailer. Looked new. Renter automatically added safemove without asking, an option I planned to decline as my auto insurer covered it. He also offered no help or guidance loading the car. I had to go to a U-Haul sited to get help as I couldn't get under the trailer to attach the front safety chain to the car.steven J.

I dont think my truck rental could have gone any smoother and painless than it did. I reserved it online the day before and it was an easy process with no confusion. I picked it up at Robs auto the following day and the location was great, there was plenty of room to park and manuever the vehicles. Rob clarified everything very well and gave some good safety tips and potential hazards to be aware of, which were so relevant. I used the truck, filled the gas to the proper line and dropped it off at Robs auto and parked it where he suggested. IT WAS PAINLESS!!! My credit card was billed the exact amount that Rob said it would cost at pickup. It was nice to do good straight up honest business. I will probably consider Robs auto repair for future auto service,maintenance, and repairs to my cars. GOOD JOB U-HAUL!!!bruce S.
U-Haul was a pain to deal with. I reserved my equipment online and even talked to a representative on the phone to ensure everything was correct. I was given the wrong pick up location. Get the right one and they had the wrong tow dolly. Finally had to go to a third location to get the right one. I was told I had the tow dolly until October 1st when my truck was due. I was charged for an extra day because U-Haul says it was due September 30th. Then I turn my truck in and was charged an extra day for it as well even so I turned the truck it at the location U-Haul asked me to on October 1st before 10 am when the truck wasn't even due until October 2nd. It's been nothing but run around lies and bullshit on U-Hauls end costing me time and money during a move that should have been easy. I WILL be posting publicly on Facebook all around the horrible experience and money stolen from me by your company. Get your act together and work on your communication skills. Because I rate them a negative 10 out of 10. I would expect this from a brand new company not you.Rachel B.

Truck was on empty when I picked it up went to gas station put in $20 and it all leaked out the gas tank. The gas tank had a hole in it had to return the truck waited an hour for another truck had to drive down to 122nd and Powell to pick it up the truck was dirty.kevin H.

5x8 Cargo Trailer needed thinner safety chains for connecting to my towing vehicle's locking hitch. Not the pick up store's fault, but still they donated a few parts for a fix politely and quickly. That was much appreciated and cudos to Rob and crew.Stephen B.

People were fine. This location was too deep into Gresham from the airport and added 40 minutes to my drive time if not more. Which is why I reserved on 122nd, but uhaul made me pick up at this location. Also, it did not have the dolly I requested. SO thanks for more time and less service.Jim W.
