There was one major problem, both the rep on the phone and the email did not tell me that on Saturday it is a self-check in site. I waited an hour past the pickup time for them to open, only to find out I could have gotten the key from a lockbox. I did use the online check in, but it also did not tell me I could get the key from the box. Finally, the location answered the phone and helped me. I had people waiting to help me move, so this was not good.

Unfortunately we were having some trouble with the padlock that held the key. The owner of the site was thankfully there, however before we got a hold of him, I reached out to uhaul help and the person I spoke to was ZERO help. There should be a better way if there is an issue. She just kept saying words to try in the pad lock that made no sense. Very frustrating. I am grateful the owner was there and was able to help. For after hours rentals, I think if there would have been a pad lock issue, uhaul needs to me more accommodating and helpful.

Uhaul charges too much per mile. Budget is cheaper, 50 cents cheaper! And they have coupons/discounts to use. Even for local runs. Unfortunately I may look at budget and use them in 2 weeks. Love the location. The gentleman were super nice and awesome. And great customer service. Just uhaul charges more then budget. I feel they should be cheaper.

Rented car trailer. Looked new. Renter automatically added safemove without asking, an option I planned to decline as my auto insurer covered it. He also offered no help or guidance loading the car. I had to go to a U-Haul sited to get help as I couldn't get under the trailer to attach the front safety chain to the car.

This location charged my debit card (without notifying me for approval) several days after the return of my equipment. Thank you Portland Cental U-Haul reservations line for a quick and easy refund but it doesn’t make up for a shady dealer (rental location).

I dont think my truck rental could have gone any smoother and painless than it did. I reserved it online the day before and it was an easy process with no confusion. I picked it up at Robs auto the following day and the location was great, there was plenty of room to park and manuever the vehicles. Rob clarified everything very well and gave some good safety tips and potential hazards to be aware of, which were so relevant. I used the truck, filled the gas to the proper line and dropped it off at Robs auto and parked it where he suggested. IT WAS PAINLESS!!! My credit card was billed the exact amount that Rob said it would cost at pickup. It was nice to do good straight up honest business. I will probably consider Robs auto repair for future auto service,maintenance, and repairs to my cars. GOOD JOB U-HAUL!!!

U-Haul was a pain to deal with. I reserved my equipment online and even talked to a representative on the phone to ensure everything was correct. I was given the wrong pick up location. Get the right one and they had the wrong tow dolly. Finally had to go to a third location to get the right one. I was told I had the tow dolly until October 1st when my truck was due. I was charged for an extra day because U-Haul says it was due September 30th. Then I turn my truck in and was charged an extra day for it as well even so I turned the truck it at the location U-Haul asked me to on October 1st before 10 am when the truck wasn’t even due until October 2nd. It’s been nothing but run around lies and bullshit on U-Hauls end costing me time and money during a move that should have been easy. I WILL be posting publicly on Facebook all around the horrible experience and money stolen from me by your company. Get your act together and work on your communication skills. Because I rate them a negative 10 out of 10. I would expect this from a brand new company not you.

Id say the best yet. U should all learn from this. Owner Rob is excellent at making you feel relaxed by answering all questions. No surprise charges . I will definitely return when i need another truck. I give this rental an A+.

Truck was on empty when I picked it up went to gas station put in $20 and it all leaked out the gas tank. The gas tank had a hole in it had to return the truck waited an hour for another truck had to drive down to 122nd and Powell to pick it up the truck was dirty.

5x8 Cargo Trailer needed thinner safety chains for connecting to my towing vehicle's locking hitch. Not the pick up store's fault, but still they donated a few parts for a fix politely and quickly. That was much appreciated and cudos to Rob and crew.

People were fine. This location was too deep into Gresham from the airport and added 40 minutes to my drive time if not more. Which is why I reserved on 122nd, but uhaul made me pick up at this location. Also, it did not have the dolly I requested. SO thanks for more time and less service.

I explained I had a refidgerater to load they requested a truck with no ramp! And no dolly I had to drive to another location to pick one up and they charged me for mileage . Very unhappy

Better truck.... even Bob said this truck was very bad. It did the job however, and I truly appreciate his willingness to pick up the truck I requested. I rent uhaul trucks every week in my line of work. And in this case I literally had to walk from the job site 2 miles away to get this truck. Thanks Bob! Otherwise the next closest truck that the main office recommended was over 20 miles away!

I wish I had gone to an actual uhaul place and not agreed to use drop off service as they were out of office from Friday am to Monday am. They claimed we didn't fill tank enough and charged a rental fee that I was not told about. I will never rent uhaul again because of this location

Improve customer service in general. This location is running a different business other the Uhaul and they don't seem very interested in Uthaul customers seems like they focus more on the other business customers. but is very close to where I live so I will keep using this location.

This location does not supply the ball for the hitch like most locations I've rented from. However, the rental process was quick and easy and we had no issues at all. I would rent from this location again.

I was billed charges in excess of what was quoted. This place is 1/4 mile from my house and my storage unit is about 1/2 mile away from my house. I made two trips and straight back to return truck and was billed $40.83 for the 14' truck and a second $25.42 charge was added with no explanation or statement of why.

The location did not have the equipment I had ordered in the truck, so we had to take the truck to another location in Gresham, where the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. One would think that when it is the company that makes a mistake or has a problem that affects the customer, the people would at the very least be polite to said customer.

The folks at Rob's Auto Repair were very friendly. We made a reservations only 12 or so hours (the night before at about 6pm) prior to picking up the u-haul. I was a bit concerned about this, but the gal that answered the phone told me it was no problem at all. It all went off without a hitch. I will refer Rob's Auto Repair to everyone. Very nice people =O)

I had to wait a while to get help, and they didn't have great customer service. I have rent from U-Haul a lot, but always directly from UHaul place, this was the first time from an independent dealer. I was used the check in process where they would pull your truck up, greet you when you return. In this case I was just handed the paper work, and to find the truck I was renting, had to ask several times what they wanted me to do, how I knew what truck was mine to inspect and when returning, it was really unclear what they wanted me to do.

Trailer was so old and beat up it was impossible to do an accurate damage assessment. Trailer was not completely clean. Clearance lights did not all work. But the people at Robs were courteous and helpful.
