Samantha SLocation is convenient. The young man who handled the rental was very nice and helpful. The windshield was very dirty inside and out. Rental process was relatively simple - all on his tablet and my email and text - although I did have difficulty uploading photos of the truck.

Bruce MI had to travel an hour to pick up a trailer. Very disappointed. Then I was told I had to travel an hour there and back again to return the trailer. Ridiculous. This isn't the locations fault, this is on U-Haul and their insane fees to drop at another U-Haul location of the same company even they couldn't provide equipment at any of the 3 local U-Haul locations.
bri mFirst location where I booked the trailer had it, except the lights didn’t work so it got switched to Rochdale Carwash. When we got there the trailer tire needed air and we had to put it in putting us just a little further behind than we already were from wasting time at the first location and then having to drive to the north end from the south east

Ryan GI was expecting the equipment to be ready, it wasn't. I was expected to move and in the end, I had to move a different UHaul truck out of the way in order for me to connect my UHaul truck to the trailer. I was not expecting to be a UHaul employee... This sort of service gives UHaul a bad reputation, and if that is the new service level to be expected; I will find a competitor next time!
vic JThe young lady was not too familiar with the Uhaul rental process. She was not familiar with inventory when I called to inquire. Dealer should ensure they are adequately trained. Once I reserved and went to pick-up the trailer, she was adequate.

Rob RThere was nothing but issues since the beginning. We were told by managers that there were uhauls available to book online. We would then go book to only get a phone call that there were none. After numerous attempts they finally got us a 10 ft truck. Our pick up was scheduled for 8am and nobody showed up at the car wash until 930 am. We tried calling and calling and nobody could help us. They allowed us to keep the truck for 24 hrs from pick up. Sunday morning comes around and the car wash is calling at 8am asking why we haven't returned the truck and where is it as someone is waiting for it. Overall experience was terrible and wouldn't suggest renting any uhaul to anybody.
Tim SThe truck was very dirty. The worker said no trucks were available when there clearly was on reserved under my name. The worker was not knowledgeable about uhaul at all. He was very rude and should not be in a customer service job. I will never go back there again
Deren KLocation seemed unprepared for rentals. No assistance with hooking up or in hooking. I had to help another customer that required assistance. Safety chains on trailer were way to long and dragged on the ground
Jason HBird crap on window,, interior never cleaned, 1/4 tank of gas so had to fill before use as did not trust gauges. No printer so could not get receipt People on site don’t inspect equipment when it returns or sent out. Will never rent here again.
Sam BI wouldn’t recommend Uhaul to anyone. False advertising, with respect to the overall cost. terrible process for renting. It took more than an hour for the registration app to process the rental. The poor kid was on hold with several folks trying to get it past the validation page. I am extremely uncomfortable with the amount of personal data that is required to rent with no information on how you protect this information. And lastly, the truck worked but had warning lights on, no weatherstripping in the drivers door, the lower dash under the steering wheel was hanging almost ready to fall off. I know the next time I need to move something we will look elsewhere for a rental.
Nancy PHorrible experience. Went to pick up 20 foot truck that was guaranteed pick up and it wasn’t returned so could not do my move out no other truck was available. I had to drive around the city looking for a truck using all my gas. They couldn’t get me a truck until Saturday night and I had to change all my movers and move late into Sunday night. The only truck available was also far and only 15 feet. Horrible experience!

fabian gBrakes on trailer initially seized likely from sitting for who knows how long. Ratchet straps on the auto transport that were seized with rust. Took me over an hour to get them to a usable state.

Abu NI had to clean the inside of the truck upon pick up, the guy working at the till wouldn’t take payment with my debit card and after I told him numerous times not to charge my credit card he still did! Once I started truck I saw engine light on, went and told the guy and he said not to worry about it. I had to travel 3 hrs out of town with this truck and all he said was that he had reported it but nobody has come to check it. I sure didn’t feel safe taking that truck…
aleeta KTruck was old as shit. Dirty. 175k miles on it. Previous driver left a bowl of dog food in the cab. Driving on the highway was a nightmare. Engine so loud I could barely hear the radio. But I guess it got the job done. Didn’t break down was the only plus.
Nolan BThe location was fine, I received good service and the truck was ready at scheduled time. What I was not prepared for the condition of the truck. The check engine light was on, the transmission and brake system sounded terrible and the steering was shot. I felt very unsafe driving at highway speeds for the 30km trip each way so I only drove 70 - 80km/ hour. Unfortunately, I already had the truck loaded and was on a tight time frame. On top of the $0.99/ KM I used 30 litres of gas to only drive 87 city/ highway kilometers (less than half those KMs were loaded) so the "fuel saver" sign on the truck was pretty misleading.
Chris HExcellent location with plenty of room to navigate a trailer for parking. Staff was friendly and professional making the drop off very quick.

Kevin BFirst my location pick was changed and I was not notified. Wasted time in another city and then had to travel to new place. Then when I got there the uhaul site was down. So wasted time they’re waiting for site to be fixed. The vehicle was dirty in the back and filthy in the cab. There was a check engine light on, was told it was fine, just go. Return check out was good. Location was good easy access.

Kevin YThis rental experience was the most frustrating I have had - and I have rented a lot of U-Haul equipment. I made my reservation 1 month before my need. The pick-up location was moved to a very inconvenient spot, without my approval. I spent a number of extra hours on the phone, and with E-mails, trying to get it sorted out. Then, my 20' reserved truck was substituted with a 26' truck - again without my knowledge or approval. More time was spent getting this reversed - although pick-up was still to be at a very inconvenient location. Then I was told I would have to pick up my auto hauler - in Moose Jaw, a city 50 miles from my move. I had no means of moving my vehicle to that location at all. Once again, with a great deal of time and effort on my part, an auto hauler was located - at my preferred pickup spot! In the end, the truck was nearly new; it was clean and completely acceptable for my move. (I still wish they came with cruise control though...) The auto hauler was an older unit - but completely functional. The move went well after all the arranging troubles were overcome. Sincerely, John Rogers

Austin RI paid for assistance but the onwer did not provide any help or showed me the auto transport location. I do not want to buy any insurance for the auto transport, the own of the place lied to me when I questioned him.

Mervin LActually rent you the truck u made a reservation for and not one that’s tiny moved a six bedroom house with a 10 foot truck after nine trips instead of one or two miles gas was an expensive rental

Christopher DGuy wasn’t great on the computer, took forever to get us into the system. Signed us up for 2 days on a rental telling us if we returned it one day early we can get a refund - which according to uhaul that’s not true.
Emery SBooked to pick up with the mobil pick up option before the location opened. Showed up for my 7:30 am booking to find out the truck was not prepared for a mobil pick up, which meant I had to sit there until the location opened at 8 am — I didn’t get the truck until 8:30 am. My move was time sensitive, and no one wanted to take responsibility for the mistake — not the location nor support on the phone — not to mention that support hung up/my call got disconnected twice.
Barbara FShowed up late for pick up due to unexpected events. Female clerk was very rude and making remarks about her having to close late now etc etc. Booking was an absolute hassle. I have to rebook and cancel 3 times till your site wouldn’t switch me from a ‘15 truck to a 9’ cargo van. Once said and done and everything was right I didn’t receive any email with instructions of where to pick up. So I called and they told me over the phone. Pick up. Well you sent me to literally the exact opposite end of the city to pick up my vehicle when I passed several other uhaul places on the way with the same vehicle in the lots. Very convenient that I had to over estimate miles driven to compensate for that(paid more money) . I will not use this service again.

atif SI AM A NEW CUSTOMER AND IT IS MY FIRST TIME USING THE UHAUL, THE SYSTEM IS VERY GOOD, BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR, THE LADY WHO IS WORKING AND HANDLING THE UHAUL AT THAT LOCATION HAS A VERY BAD ATTITUDE, NVER ANSWERED ANY OF MY QUESTIONS REGARDING ABOUT UHAUL, ME BEING A CUSTOMER WILL NOT GOING TO GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION BECAUSE I FELT I WAS NEVER WELCOME. THIS DEFINITELY RUINED MY EXPERIENCE BECAUSE OF A VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
