The driver's side floor of the cab had a large amount of dried mud as well as the brake and acceleration pedals. The staff was very helpful and excellent to deal with. The app was awful. You guys need to improve the app significantly. 1 out of 5 stars for the app

The check-out and check-in process was very easy. The employee was friendly and knowledgeable of the moving process. Keep up the great short term rental work. My move was successful because of the roominess in the nine-foot cargo van and the wood attachment rails were perfect to hold the cargo with ratcheting straps. Perfect to carry an 85-inch flat screen.

GERALD MThe customer service rep mislead me and ended up resulting in extra charges. I initially booked a one-way rental that automatically calculated 4 days. When I went to go pick it up, he offered to add an extra day in case we ran into delays saying the extra charges (rental and insurance) would drop off if I returned it on time. So we added another day. Same for mileage, that I would only get charged for actual miles used. So I was very judicious in my mileage use, and returned the truck before the 4 day mark thinking this would result in a refund for unused time and miles. The charge did not get adjusted for the unused time and miles. I called customer service and found out the representative at this location was incorrect. Now I have to go through the hassle of making a claim to get my money back. To make matters worse, the left mirror on the truck was broken making it very unsafe to drive and merge lanes. I’m never rent here again. 0/10 rating.
ISRAEL AI reserved the truck 5 days in advance but 15 hours before pickup I was told it was not available. The solution was to use a smaller truck with a trailer. After having to call U-haul scheduling they found a larger truck in a neighboring city, which cost an additional $40. So by not honoring the reservation and not getting a backup truck brought in to cover the agreement , I had to pay extra.

CHARMAINE RI have generally been very pleased with this location This most recent interaction with the employee on 9/30 was less than desirable. He was not very helpful or very clear in any of his instructions. He requested my DL but made no move to get out of the chair he was sitting in to get it from me. Then when he gave me the truck key, he told me it was in the back lot with no instruction how to get back there as it was behind a locked gate. Then he told me to "look for the number on the key fob & match to the truck". I had NO IDEA where that number was. I went to all the trucks that were the size I knew I needed and just tried the key. It wasn't until I returned the truck that I found out the number is on the front of the bed of the truck. Not very good customer service at all. If he had been my only interaction at this location I might have never returned.

PATRICIA MThe truck I rented to help my daughter with a move was dirty - could hardly see through the windshield, was running so rough that I had to keep foot on the accelerator at stops to keep it from dying, but the worst was the incredible smell of gasoline coming into the cab!!!!!! I have a lung condition and it made it extremely hard for me to breathe! It is still impacting me the day after. I called to report this to the rental site and was thanked for the input however the agent informed me that the truck has over 200,000 miles on it! That was the response!!! I would have expected the agent to let me know that they would address the issue to avoid future renters from having to deal with it. Very disappointed. I am a repeat customer of U-Haul and have been happy with previous experiences.

I was told this is a "dealer" Uhaul location, which might make things different. I might have at first accidentally written a negative review for this location meant for another Uhaul location in another state (Oregon), and am glad to be able to correct any earlier mistakes about my review.

SADIE CTruck had a couple pieces trash in it from previous driver and there was dog hair all over passenger seat. There was 2 alerts on while I was driving 1.) No window wash/wiper fluid. Windows were dirty and couldnt even clean them. 2.) Door ajar light was on even though I had closed every door on the truck multiple times. Made it feel unsafe when transporting items on the freeway.
Aaron JI rated the location low because the facility is too tightly cramped and the storage unit setup is among the worst I have ever experienced. I said the personnel was helpful to credit a newer employee named David who stepped in to try to help when his manager or more experienced fellow employees had gone home for the day, leaving him with something of a problem dealing with my storage unit problem. A manager or senior employee had said it was fine to rent a unit that day even though the computer system showed a move-in date a couple of days later. Apparently he did not actually physically check the unit itself on the property to make sure it was empty. When I got there, David took me up to the unit to show me the location and found a Uhaul type of lock on the door. As the unit seemed possibly still occupied or unavailable, and because I cannot do stairs for a medical problem with a knee, he placed me in a ground unit near one front entrance. He went to considerable trouble trying to make this happen, calling fellow senior employees or managers, asking a senior seeming employee for help. Unfortunately, somehow what he did to shift me in their Uhaul computer system did not work in terms of alerting the manager of the shift in storage units. The manager or senior staff cut my lock and pegged the unit as a mystery unit, I learned later, and put their own Uhaul lock on it. Despite David's efforts at being helpful, and despite the fact he did check in with other senior staff, there was a disconnect in communication. I did tell David later in person what happened while I was starting to move stuff out of the unit. I did not mean to come across as complaining to and about him personally. I would like David to receive credit for going the extra mile with this particular customer, and for doing some other helpful things. I don't think the Uhaul manager realizes how much David was thinking outside the box in order to solve a problem, and that this type of creative and proactive thinking should not be penalized. That David apparently did not know exactly how to show in the computer system the change from an upstairs unit to the downstairs one on my personal account should not be held against him. Instead, managers need to show him how to make those shifts, or should train him on company policy protocols on such things. I did not feel the store manager was particularly receptive to this kind of thinking processes and feel he might blow off the idea of giving David credit for what he did right.

Benjamin JUhaul has shown that they do not care about customer concerns. I have been ghosted by Uhaul representative, Mitchell Fields, for the past month without any consideration of concerns from customer’s perspective. Uhaul takes your money and can care less about how you are treated afterwards.
Bruce LYou can look my history up. I rent usually at least once a month. This truck was by far the dirtiest I’ve ever received a truck. Still items in the cab, leaves and dirt in the back, and the cab smelled. I rented for a day and was charged for 2 when brought back within 24 hours.

Went with a smaller size for the same price. Picked up rental and was charged $50 more than my original reservation for a truck that is smaller than what I reserved.

Karen LI was not quoted weekend mileage price when I rented truck. I was only quoted weekday price ! I would not recommend location for service during the week. Poor customer service! CSR on Saturday was ok but didn't point out the price difference of mileage either. Weekday CSR says he only quotes the price for the day the truck is rented! Poor! Poor service!
