An email sent to me 2 days before pickup stated the local store in Hale would be contacting me regarding details of picking up the truck. The email never arrived. There was complete confusion from picking up the truck to returning it. I never received an email, phone call or text providing me the code to unlock the key box. I had to contact the Hale office and eventually I was given the key. NOTE: the staff that assisted me were very helpful. When I returned the truck, the store was closed (no problem there) but I still had no code to unlock the key box. I had to leave the key in the truck glove box. There seems to have been a breakdown in communication somewhere along the line. I recommend improving it.

Wasn’t ready for me and extra equipment needed was theee and ready I had ordered a 15 foot truck. They gave me a 26 foot truck at least they gave me the price for the 15 footer but then I had to pay the insurance for the higher one. I got the better insurance because my driveway has lots of trees they didn’t seem to understand that they should’ve insured it.

Gerald GThey charged me an additional $58.00 over my rental fee for the 55 miles over their approved mileage which was from the pickup location to the drop off location. Those miles were from there locations to my old address for pickup and then to my new location for my drop off then driving to there drop off location. This is unacceptable. I will never use U-Haul again

David PI reserved the trailer on line and indicated that the drop off point would be the save as the pickup. As the paperwork was being filled out, it indicated a one way trip, which the cost was higher. A whole new reservation had to be entered, which took time.
ALBERT FNot sure why we got charge $9+ by the Hale Location. Fuel was full, truck was swept out. front might have had a little sand from our shoes. Never was a propblem in all my other uhaul rentals. Ir is a grocery store and I probably shouldn't be so down on the personel not coming out to check truck or at least get the keys from us. We had to make an extra trip inside. I know Boo-Haha for us. I've just had better customer service is all

DAVID AAsked for a later drop off time and for extended mileage. Was told everything was added to the bill. When dropping off the vehicle we were billed another $100+ for items we were told had been charged to our bill already. Nearly doubling what we were told it was going to cost.
DEREK ADropped off at 3am and the local gas stations' pumps were shutdown. Hard to fill up when no gas station is near to do so at that time. Information should be shared.
CHRISTOPHER OWas given wrong key for truck. I ended up being an hour and a half late because of this.
ARTHUR PI realize it is a repair shop for vehicles but A lot of clutter outside the shop. The staff was very friendly I am very cooperative, but they do have a responsibility to ensure that the uhaul does have the Proper amount of feel within them, and not leave a vehicle so low in fuel that I have to worry if I’ll make it to the gas station.

kirk rKnowledgeable rep called in sick and no one else was trained to complete a smooth pick up. Although everyone there was very nice, they didn’t know the process at all. With the help of a U-haul rep on the phone, I was able to pick up the trailer after about an hour.
