The service was great upon getting the van. The van, however, was very dirty on the outside. The front windshield was so dirty I had to stop at a service station to have it cleaned. Not the end of the world, but would have been nice if it had been a bit cleaner.LYNN M M.

The location is convenient, and it was easy to park. Picking up and returning the vehicle was easy. I didn't get gas because I was in a rush to get back to my kids, and the charge was fair and worth not getting gas (I only traveled about 15 miles. If you're going far, I recommend replacing the gas. Great, easy experience. I'll definitely use this location for big furniture pick ups again.SHAWNA S.

We were not given instructions on how to drop off the key after hours. We looked everywhere for the drop off box shown in the link, but had to call uhaul and it took over an hour to get instructions to use this lock box that required a special code. The area where the store is located under a bridge feels extremely unsafe, particularly at night, and we had to spend so much time after an exhausting move looking around for the drop off box while on hold with uhaulâ€” unideal situation. U-Haul listed furniture pads as available for this location, even though the location does not provide them to customers. I added them to my order, and did not know they would not be provided until the night before my move. The location employee was understanding and helpful, but U-Haul website should be updated immediately to resolve this. The location was incredible, but U-haul site not so much...Kaitlyn M.

Van Gas line had been cut by vandals causing gas to pour out when I filled the van. Parking location was not clean nor very safe. Staff were friendly and professional, I got the move done but having gas pour out from the bottom of the van and then having to drive it could hav been very unsafe.Stuart L.

The location and staff was excellent. The app however has serious problems and needs to be fixed. I had to use my boyfriend's phone bc the app just froze repeatedly when trying to take pics of the odometer. There's also no help option in the app, which I needed because the app was supposed to give me a code for the locks to return the key and didnt. Instead, I had to hunt down the number for uhaul help and then spend 25 minutes on the phone until the code could be retreived. The app needs fixing ASAP. The staff at this location is well above bar, as they called me directly to apologize for the poor experience even though it wasnt their fault.Jennifer L.

The battery died while I was stopped to get gas on my way to return the van. When I called to report this, they said they'd call roadside support for me, but I never heard back from them. I was given a discount for my trouble, which I appreciate, but check your batteries before sending vans out!!Tracy Z.

Completely dissatisfied with wait time for the 1800 number and online chat. Had difficulties with pickup verification so logged on the chat and called the 1800 number. Was on hold for 27 mins before speaking to an agent and never got a response after six messages sent on the chat. The staff at rose city were extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, my truck, which I drove approximately 6 miles total, would not restart after I unloaded it, and I had to wait 90 minutes for someone to come jump start it. According to the gentleman who jump started he truck for me, it is common for the batteries to die just because of the light in the back that turns on automatically when the truck back is open, with no way to turn it off manually. It seems like uhaul could invest in stronger/newer batteries if the ones they are using die when renters are using the truck exactly as intended. Or at least recommend to renters to restart the truck periodically to recharge the battery. This simple bit of info would have saved me 2 hours of trouble on a rainy moving day.SAMANTHA M.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews of this place and judging by the 2 times I've used this place it's not their fault. The problem is the uhaul online truck share option. The first time I used this place I opted for that an it was a huge pain in the ass. I was unable to pick up a truck with truck share so I walked the short distance to the office and they were so nice and helpful and had it all sorted out very quickly, it's why I returned there this second time. Great customer service in store, the online truck share option needs to be thrown in the trash.jen J.
