Ted VThe location was in a very unsafe spot. A lot of homeless camps. The uhaul had graffiti on it. The truck it’s self made loud screeching sounds when braking. The transmission made a horrid sound when shifting/accelerating. We tried telling the worker this when we dropped off the truck but he brushed it off by saying if it ain’t broke we can’t fix it. Overall this is the worst experience I’ve had with uhaul.
Jasmine PTell me all of the charges expected to pay. Nothing was said about milage, gas, etc. it didn't surprise me to pay just would have been nice to know. Very nice to talk with all employees 😊
Dave DI was a little disappointed how far the location was when compared to the offer. In hindsight I would have just returned to the vehicle to the original drop off location. We ended up having to waste time correcting what was offered and were still charged more. I’ve paid less renting in Eugene and returning to Eugene after driving to Portland. A bit disappointing.

Mike CNot having a drop box for the key seems weird, why have us come back the next day when you could have a drop box? Also not this locations fault at all but having an after hours drop off fee but not mentioning that when you reserve your time slot online is obviously a means to scam an extra $20. There’s no reason to charge us more for using the truck past 6? It doesn’t make sense. The person working the desk here was incredibly friendly and efficient though, nothing on them just wish there was a drop box so I don’t have to come back after my work day.

Glynis LHave clean trucks and trucks that have gas. I got a truck with no gas on E and was told if I bring it back with gas I would get a credit. This was not the case when I brought it back with gas. Also the truck was covered in graffiti.
Vincent CI was told gas tank had a 1/16th of a tank but after 3 mins of driving the gas light empty sign came on and on top of that they charged me about $30 dollars when the rental eas returned

Oleksandr KEvery time I rent a U-Haul I'm bothered by the suggested repair prices should the customer inflict damage and have no insurance. It's a fear tactic and if damage were to occur it appears they would take advantage of the situation and charge exorbitant repair prices even if it's entirely cosmetic.

Debbie WRose City Self Storage & Wine Vaults is an awesome location. It is under the Belmont bridge, which makes it feel a little bit unsafe. However, it is well maintained on the inside and has a ton of security systems in place. The issue I had was with the U Haul truck itself. I didn't realize that I was receiving a truck without a back up camera, so it felt a tad unsafe. I have rented a lot of U Haul's in the past and there has always been a camera, so this was something that I was not used to. There was also a lot of graffiti on the truck itself. Not really an issue, just an observation. It just didn't look great.

NORMAN PI will go out of my way to rent from this location again. After the nationwide outage, Paula at Rose City Self Storage & Wine Vaults was incredibly helpful and fun to work with. With Paula’s help, I stayed on schedule, and found my favorite U-Haul location! Thank you Paula!!

Thomas VGood, helpful store personnel. Truck had electrical issues and a broken AC. U-Haul is a service of last resort. Previous competition offered vehicles better suited to our needs and a much more modern fleet, and a reservation flow that isn’t pure torture. The U-Haul app needs a complete re-write and it’s an insult to your customers to make them decline seven (7) upsells before completing a reservation. On the other hand, I had multiple opportunities to count the upsell attempts because I had to start from scratch several times over due to the app being utter garbage. Worse even than the fleet of vehicles offered! Anyway, Imma fork out the extra $300 next time and hire movers. This wasn’t worth the savings.
Nicholas STrucks are nasty dirty outside and inside underneath the seats ! So please please hired the right people to work and cleaning the trucks inside and outside by either washing by hand or going to a car wash and washing the outside and insides .
Patricia HI'm sorry I didn't get the name of the employee who was working the evening shift on Saturday, 12/10, but he was AMAZING! I was having a really awful stressful day with moving and all the things that went wrong and I ended up accidentally locking my keys in my car while trying to return the truck and your employee was so kind and generous and helped me find a mobile locksmith to come and rescue my keys while I was having an emotional meltdown. Thank you!

Daniel BSuper friendly people helping at the desk. We have consistently rented from them twice a year for the last 3 years. Our daughter goes to college in Portland and we always have to go up and rent a U-Haul to move her in and then out at the end of the year wouldn't go anyplace else!
lori wI was overcharged. Charged 2 gallons of gas and I only used 6 miles also the insurance was added without my consent.

NORMAN PThe truck was dirty when I picked it up and I returned my truck 1 hour early the next morning but they didn’t check it in until later that day and it charged me an additional $99. I have proof of when I returned it and have spent 3 hours trying to remedy the situation that the manager assured me would be taken care of last week. I have yet to see the refund back to my card. This has been a colossal waste of my time.

Devante Cgot the truck with 1/8 tank of gas. drove total of 9 miles, brought back with 1/8 tank of gas and was still charged $14.00 for gas... Nobody said anything about 17% city tax.
Steven MThis location had the equipment that I needed (appliance dolly) and their customer service was very good. Unfortunately I would have strongly preferred to get this equipment at the location where I reserved it (weeks in advance) instead of having to make an extra stop.
