There are a few different U-Haul locations in my area, but I will never rent from anyone else. These guys are always so polite and helpful. This rental he stood out in the rain to make sure everything was hooked up and I was all set. They have longer hours than the others and we have even returned after hours. I did try another location 1 time and there was a gate locking me out so I couldn't return the truck to the lot, and I couldn't get in touch with the owner. I have never had any issues at all like this with the Route 66 Show Me Clean location.

Pick up location was constantly smoked in. Not impressed; though average thereafter. The equipment had two tires dry rotted in which blew at different times. Average 2.5 hours each for road side assistance to arrive to replace tires. The tires blowing caused damage to the right fender in which upon return caused headaches in which they wanted to charge me for fender repairs.

Just make sure the side mirror can be adjusted.. i could not do that on the passenger side. Had a very hard time being able to see traffic. Luckily for my daughter was following behind me. So when I needed to get over just turn on my blinker wait til she got over so I could.

We paid full coverage insurance, including my auto insurance coverage and scheduled over a month in advance, and we showed up in person to reserve a truck that included an Auto-Carrier for my vehicle. Although we changed the size of the truck, we received one that was favorable. Unfortunately, after picking up the truck and returning several days later as planned to have the auto carrier attached to the 20ft truck, we asked very few questions and assumed that everything was in working order. During our first out of state commute we encountered an issue that was pointed out of MO. state, while driving on the interstate late at night. The problem was that the Auto-Carrier tail lights were both out and and we received assistance from an individual that kept warning us to turn them on since he couldn't see the attached Auto-Carrier that hauled my personal vehicle. We ended up having to pull over and he checked and confirmed that they both the Auto-Craft tail lights were out and cautioned us about continuing the late evening drive on the interstate, and assisted us with directions to a near by larger city that could accommodate our needs. I called the Route 66 Show me clean and spoke to the owner and he was not interested in any of my concerns or questions and said that they had nothing more to do with us.

The location itself was very dirty. There was a lot of trash everywhere, but if you can see past that since none of that necessarily affects the actual rental itself, I’d get this place a five star rating because honestly as long as they gave me the trailer that I needed in a nice and timely manner. I really don’t have any complaints but I will say the place itself was a bit rundown and a bit dirty so that’s the only complaint that I really have but would still to recommended somebody else.

The staff was not helpful. I made an online reservation for a truck and furniture pads. When I went to pick up the truck, they said they did not have any furniture pads. I asked if they knew if any of the other local U-Haul locations had them and they said they checked with the local “manager” and that they did not. I ended up going to a location a minute down the road myself and what do you know there’s furniture pads there. The staff at this location gave no good description of how to turn in a vehicle after hours and did not explain where their key dropbox was, which was near the office itself. The app also did not work when I tried to return the truck after hours.

I would definitely have blankets so people don't get their furniture tore up like mine did. They are supposed to have them there. I had no blankets. The inside was dirty, the truck needs alignment it was all over the road and you charged my parents $117 plus $900. What is this about it's illegal to just put money on their card without asking or talking to them about it. Now I want to know why you charged way over $1000 for a UHaul??? This is ridiculous. Please get back with me id appreciate it.

the truck needed to be washed inside and out mostly a better inside job would have been nice i had to clean everything my self to just see out the windshield

The equipment was damaged and dirty. The electoral connections were extremely filthy and tough to insert in truck. The tires, straps, and lights were good

The only thing I have to say is the guy on the other end of the phone said “park anywhere” when I got there it was literally nowhere for me to park, so I had to get creative and make a parking sport for the trailer and Uhal itself.

The person accepting the trailer was rude was well. He was smoking a cigarette the entire time I was conducting business with them, very unprofessional. With same comments as above about reviews on Google and other websites.
