JIAN WTruck was in poor shape mechanically When I picked up the truck I was told there are no dolly's.. This is after me making the reservation over 2 weeks in advance. Had to go to another location to get dolly's another deposit another cost. Uhaul will not be seeing me again

MARCIA BI had done an online checkin to save time, however when I went to pick up the vehicle, when I told them my name they could not find the checkin information (and had the wrong phone # on file) and I was forced to go through the process again, which was annoying. Apparently they mixed up my name with somebody else and charged that other person for my rental.

MICHAEL HThey tried to charge me $400, said I didn't get the gas filled correctly and would not help me with computer issue....this was the worst possible experience I have ever had with Uhaul. terrible service. The trucks front hood would constantly come open on the highway, i had to pull over and keep re locking it. They were rude, tired and spoke another language in front of me.
STEPHEN SI found the service was very good , there was a little mud in the back of the truck, but this is a moving truck and it sometimes gets a little dirty with all the people go inside.
Peter EThis was not the location’s fault, but the vehicle we reserved was returned to the location 1.5 hrs late. The location tried numerous times to contact the client and ask them their status and to return the vehicle, but the client did not contact them with an explanation for why they were late and also hung up on them. When they returned the vehicle they seemed surprised that other people, us, were waiting for the vehicle. Online, it says that if your vehicle is. It there at the time you requested it, that U-Haul will give us $50. If it applies to this situation, we will happily take that refund. Thank you, Cindy Rule

Yaroslav BLocation was very busy and only had one staff member who seemed very overwhelmed by the process. We signed in online and he seemed unaware of how to provide keys to us. It was convenient to get to and clear where to drop keys and return the vehicle but the staff member was very difficult.
Sarah WHello, I had booked Uhaul van from one of your agent at 286 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke, ON, M8V2V9, on 30th March 2024 from 6 - 10 pm. As instructed, I dropped of the vehicle at the location before my end time and dropped of the keys at the designated lock box. Upon looking at the receipt, I saw the agent charged me for 2 days. That is so unprofessional, the agent should have looked at the details before doing my final bill. The return date and time on my recepit is based on when they open the store. I request you to kindly take a look into this complaint. Please take necessary steps to held the agent accountable. Thanks
Chirag BUnfortunately my booking was for 10 and the place was closed. I waited outside for 30 mins for them to come and open up. Not a huge deal but inconvenient. Otherwise they were great.

David WPlease make sure the mobile app and browser site are more stable and functional. Everything else was good except for this. When picking up the equipment it was such a slow buggy process trying to use the mobile pick-up. Luckily the gas station operator was there to sign me in physically. When dropping off the equipement, uploading photos of the equipment completely failed. The page would refresh and all the photos I uploaded would be gone. It's not a good experience at all. This aspect really needs to be improved.

Tiffany CCheck in was pretty simple and the car was clean. The problem is around the return of the vehicle. I asked the person working there “what time do you close?” And he responded with “8:30 but don’t show up after 8 because we start closing early”. That isn’t totally acceptable, but I understand the desire to get out on time. For that reason I arrived back at the location at 7:30, yet they were already closed. I called Uhaul to help me out and they asked me to check out using the app, which failed (everything was greyed out). Not to mention they are now trying to charge me $20 convenience fee for dropping off the van during the business hours they should have been open. Honestly the check out process was so poor that I could not recommend
James BThe vehicle had dirty rags and carboard it in, it was very dirty, spare old car parts in the cab, and the air condition did not work properly. Also i was told on the phone when booking the truck i could drop it at another location, however when i picked it up, the staff said I had to bring it back to the pick up location. This cost me an extra hour of my time and mileage... I will be calling customer service. this was not ok.
Sauve MI rented from this location twice and drove a cargo van that a friend had rented from this location. All three experiences were great. Thank you so much for providing excellent affordable services, it's very much appreciated!

LYLE PI did pay for equipment dolly and store was offering me small dolly instead. Also he was asking me to go pick up dolly from different location. When I was going to pay after service before pay, did reach out to live chat but they couldn’t help get charges off my bill. I still have to make a call to get refund of service that I never got.
Milinkumar PThe staff at the location were great. The U-Haul was left dirty with food (cheese shreds?) on the floor and garbage which I had to deal with myself so I didn’t get charged. The U-Haul app said more gas was in the tank than there was when I got it, so therefore had to put more gas back in than I had used. I ordered a dolly which wasn’t in the vehicle.
