U-Haul in Hermantown Duluth, Minnesota was unhelpful. My rental kept getting moved from town to town. They did not help by giving me a number that I could phone to make it resolve the problem. I had to find it on my own and I finally wound up working through Blaine Minnesota. Blaine, Minnesota headquarters was excellent. Do not rent from the U-Haul by Miller Hill mall in Duluth, Minnesota. Left me sitting at checkout offering no options and went onto the next customer. Ignored me completely and I had no truck to move my items from my apartment. Even though the reservation had been set up on October 27, and this was November 12 and I was double checking to make sure I had my reservation for the 15th.

HANSEL AI drove 6 total miles with the U-Haul. That is recorded on the receipt. I put $10 in gas in it 2 blocks away from where it returned it. Ruddys rental then charged me at $30 refuel fee and $113 for 25 gallons of gas. 6 miles would never be able to use 25 gallons of gas even if I didn’t refuel it. Which I did. Then when I called to dispute the charges the lady that answered the phone was rude.

MARK SBetter advertising about trailer dimensions on website. I rented the 6x12 utility with ramp to pick up a mower with a 61” deck thinking even with the ramp it would be plenty big. It did not fit and I had to take the deck off. I did go back and look and you do list the dimensions but it’s way at the bottom and kind of an afterthought. It should be clearly stated near the top max cargo width with ramp.

Hazel HThe vehicle was not checked back in properly before my use. It had broken glass in the cargo area and the entire floor was soaking wet from the "cleaning" the previous user did. A full actual clean should have been done and that individual should have been charged for cleaning, not me.

BRIAN HThat location is closed on Sundays but I wasn't notified ahead of time and had to waste time downloading an app and setting up an account in the parking lot while I had scheduled family and friends waiting for me to move. The milage was wrong so the app wouldn't let me proceed and told me to go inside for assistance but it was closed so that wasn't even an option. The truck was dirty inside and parts were broken. The process to return it was ridiculous, no customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do there, that it was all handled via U-Haul online. I would never rent another U-Haul and I will actively discourage others from using this business.
Kasandra DI had a very good experience with this rental. Willow was friendly and helpful. The rental van was fairly new and clean. It gave me confidence that I wasn't going to encounter any mechanical issues. I will definitely keep Ruddys Rental in mind when on my next rental.

BRUCE LTrailer did not have a jack on it and we were not able to lift off the hitch. A 12 x 6 trailer needs a jack to lift. We need to use our car jack to get off the trailer and then the trailer was very unstable.

JACK REverything was great except for U-Haul’s software for checkout at Ruddys. . That was terrible, not their issue but U-Haul’s.
CHAD WPlease make sure the lights wiring is checked better. We had a bad experience driving from MN to AZ with no lights on the trailer most of the way. there must have been a loose wire somewhere, which caused the lights to work sometimes, but not others.

MISTI WThe only thing I was concerned with is I reserved 26 inch truck and on the day we needed it they said the 26 inch truck wasn't available so we went with a 20 inch. I got up to the counter to get the truck and a lady was helping a guy next to me and offered him a 26 inch truck but he didn't take it so I said they told me the 26 inch wasn't back but I did get it in the long run. It was a little bit of a shit show
