I had to wait 45 minutes before I could get a truck because the key was lost. I was informed after I finally got a truck the key was found in the drop box which the associate did not have the code to get into. Completely unacceptable. The employee did a fine job but what an absolute shit show.

I returned it with more gas than I began with but they charged me $48 for a fuel charge. The attendant tried calling the supervisor which couldn’t fix it for some reason so he told me he just wouldn’t charge me for an extra day since I brought it back the next morning instead of before they closed the night before. One day rental is 24 hours. My contract stated 10:15 AM so that’s when I brought it back. He told me they go by what customers say instead of the contract. I told them I would TRY to get it back that night if things went well. I got rained out so I was working on unloading late. I should not have been charged for another day, nor for a fuel charge. I took a picture before I left the parking lot with 44 miles until empty. I brought it back with 59 miles of fuel in it. That was extra money I don’t have to throw away.
