1. I informed the location of the shaking of â€œthe steering wheel issueâ€ while driving and nothing was done. If I wanted to rent a truck or van with mechanical issues, I wouldn't have chosen U-haul. 2. I tried use my VISA DEBIT card for the credit card hold but U-haul system would not allow it causing me to â€œHAVEâ€ to use a â€œMAJOR CREDIT CARDâ€. This has disrupted my budget. I had the funds on the VISA DEBIT CARD but it was constantly rejected.Evens-P. B.

The guy, who rents out the vehicles at 426 Major MacKenzie Dr E Unit 2 Richmond Hill, ON L4C1J2, did not inform me on late return. If I would have known there's a charge for it, I would have rented it for longer. That guy also did not tell me that there's a charge for vehicle inspection after the trip. That info I got via text later on. I've been renting U-Haul for the last 20yrs or so, NEVER AGAIN!!! Just bc there are multiple charges, for everything, even for the things that used to be free. unfortunately, I'm done with dealing with U-Haul ever again. it just became way too expensive, charging for everything. Naturally, I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone.IRINA K.

Firstly, the truck was clean but smelly. Secondly, the guy in charge of the location didn't have the furniture dolly which I had already paid 10 dollars for it but there was no way I can get my 10 bucks back. Thirdly, the guy in charge of the location was disagreeable. I showed him the reicept that I had paid around 470 dollars for the truck, but he refused to give us the truck because he couldn't see our payment in the software system and wanted to charge us 470 dollars again instead of calling the U-Haul help line to confirm our payment. I had to call U-Haul help line myself and when I got a representive on the line, he finally agreed to give us the truck. Fourthly, he charged another 49.8 dollars without specifying how the payment was for.Huawei Z.

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience!! The same truck was book for us and another client. We arrived at the location and uhaul system confirmed the same truck with same serial no for us and the other client. The other client was aggressive (had to call police) took the key and drove away while we were on the call with uhaul for TWO hours. After 2hrs when we got connected, the agent did not even apologize for the mess like nothing happened. We said we would like to file a formal complaint (because the other client was driving a car that had our registration) stayed on the phone for another half hour when connected it was reservation department and did not take our complaint. Waited again on the line for another half hour when the line disconnected... Terrible terrible experienceGholamreza S.

Staff at this location were rude, impatient and did inform me of on line return even though I asked about lock box for after hour drop. I returned van 11 hrs after sign out, they charged me twice for blankets and charged me $89 for 150km when I only used 75km. I do not recommend this location and if UHal does not reimburse me I will not recommend the company at all.Krista U.

There were supposed to be a furniture dolly, appliance dolly and furniture pads waiting for me, but none were. I was then sent to another location 20km away to pick them up and was told they don't have them either. In the end, despite spending 2 hours on truck â€œpickupâ€ I had to move without any of these supplies â€” all because this location didn't properly prep the truck I rented.Michael L.

This place where I dropped the uhaul truck is a scam shop who charged me one day extra where I dropped the vehicle on time plus the scam bug guy charged me 70 dollars which I took the vehicle in quarter and I even saw I put more gas than the level they gave me. When I dropped the key the guy is you leave then I send you the invoice which he cheated. He sent me 111 dollars extra. I hope the uhaul company look at this scam shop . I did not have any problem before with other locations except this stupid guyGHULAM F.
