This place is a mud hole junk yard. I showed up on time to get the trailer and it wasn’t there. It was “at my brothers house getting welded back together” according to the lady working there.

This location was offered as a “Guaranteed 9am truck pickup” after my 8am reservation at another location was changed by U-Haul. The employee showed up an hour late and flat out told me she is NEVER there before 10am on Saturdays, yet U-Haul continues to let customers reserve earlier times. This is unacceptable and delayed my entire move, which cost me extra with hired movers that were scheduled to start at a specific time. Don’t believe the “guaranteed” times unless you confirm directly with the location beforehand.

Had a 9AM trailer pickup. Gate was locked upon arrival at 8:58am. A shop mechanic arrived a few minutes after 9am. He couldn’t assist with the trailer rental. The guy who could arrived late (around 9:15-ish). By that time 3 customers (myself included) had congregated in the parking lot waiting on him. When he finally did arrive, he didn’t ask who was here first. Technically I was, but it was a toss up between me and one of the other customers so I was willing to wait. BUT the guy that arrived last was serviced first, despite the fact that I made it clear the order in which everyone arrived and that I had a 9am pickup for a trailer. The worker ignored me, looked “last guy” in the face and said what are you here for? He went ahead and service “last guy.” So when he finally did get to me I brought it to his attention that he ignored me and helped “last guy” first. I told him I hope it wasn’t a decision he made simply because he knew the guy. Apparently the older gentleman knew worker’s dad (as I’m standing here listening to all this). Worker says, ma’am I take people in the order in which they come through the door. By the time worker printed my contract out for my signature was 9:31am. My online reservation indicated a 12-hour reservation. He still asked me how long. I said 12 hours. But when he printed the contract, he had me returning the trailer at 5pm. I immediately called customer service and complained about my experience and pointed out that despite me telling him it was a 12 hour rental he still printed the contract wrong and I wanted to exercise my right to a guarantee given the situation. Customer service advised that guarantee is activated at end of contract but told me what to call them when I dropped the trailer back that night. Which I did so they’d have documentation that I returned the trailer when I was supposed to. Despite the after-hour timely drop off, when they checked in my trailer, they checked it in five 8:55am the following morning, nullifying my site guarantee. This is the 3rd time I’ve rented from them. The first time they had a disabled vehicle blocking access to the area where trailers were so I had to regroup and find another place. The 2nd time was okay. This last time was unacceptable customer service. I put in for my reservation guarantee (as I had to do the first time I rented from them) and area service manager has declined it. So I called back to customer service and asked them to resubmit. My thing is if they are comfortable calling flagrant shots, stand behind them. When you inconvenience a customer stand on your guarantee. When you show up to work 15 minutes late then take accountability. This location could use some customer service training. I rent UHAUL trailers all the time from all over. And this has consistently been the worst experience. Kisha F.

Superb team run facility. Friendly in person pick up process and excellent equipment. I thought my 10' truck was new, but when I saw the milage, I realized it was just really well maintained. Highly recommended neiborhood facility that I will be using again.

I am so mad. The pick up time was 9:00 AM - the worker did not show up until 9:45 AM then it took 20 minutes to get the job done. I feel ripped off by UHAUL. I waited for 45 minutes!!!

Uhaul was very dirty, dirty drink marks in the console, dirt all over the floorboards. Owner was extremely late for me to be able to pick up. My pick up was 9 am i didnt leave until almost 10. I couldn't do a digital pick up. No one else (2 other employees) could check me out. I was standing outside waiting for him to arrive. Horrible location, I recommend going to Asheville or Waynesville. I just could walk from my now previous house.

There was one day I requested a U-Haul for a Sat went by several times gate was locked tried calling no answer so I know things happen just never sure what happened. Other than that everything has been great. Wish U-Haul could give a discount or something nice every now and then to customers who keep coming back!!!!

Only issue I had with this location was about how they handled my equipment drop off. I started receiving multiple texts and calls from UHAUL stating that I had yet returned my equipment and that it was going to affect other customers and their reservations. I had returned the equipment on time and where they directed me to, however they had not checked it back in. When I called they were not argumentative or anything and said they would take care of the issue. Then the next day I recieved a final email from UHAUL stating that I despite trying to call me and reach me on my provided info, that I had STILL not returned the equipment. Then less than 15 minutes later I get an email to the same address and it was a receipt of my transaction, with bo mention of the "delayed return"??

When I picked up the truck it was totally unacceptable. But I had no choice at that point. The person at the pickup location even asked me if he gave me a couple of dollars would I go vacuum it out. There was a half eaten sandwich in the dashboard, crumbs and sprinkles, and a massive amount of dog hair all in the cab of the truck. The previous person as I understand it, got it stuck in the mud and was mud all over the side of the truck. I took pictures it was so bad.

I reserved my truck and car carrier at a UHaul location within a mile of where I live. I was sent to the next town over 12 miles away. This is not the service I expected from UHaul.

First and foremost, the original location for pickup was in Bryson City. Upon showing up to get the dolly I was told that they didn't have a working piece of equipment for me to use. The closest was in Canton, NC, approximately 45-miles away. Not to mention that it was a Friday afternoon on New Year's weekend. After running to get to the new location, I was notified that the rental was now $45 more due to the new location, further away from Byson. I appreciate not being given the broken tow dolly, but it would have been nice to have had U-Haul arrange for a replacement dolly at the original location, or, at the very least, have been notified earlier of the change in pick-up location.

First - why did uhaul bring me clear to canton NC for drop off? Second the location could not check me in and delayed which i needed to escalate twice. Not comfortable dropping off a trailer without a check out

This was the worst Haul experience I have ever had. I am trying to understand why you would allow this business to represent your company. The business was an absolute junkyard full of cars, debris, and a Uhaul trailer covered in mold surrounded with junk. I didn't see any other Uhauls at this location. Two guys who were busy socializing told me to leave the keys in the truck, and that was the end of the conversation. The next day, I received a phone call from Rynos saying that I was late turning in the truck. How do you miss the only truck you have? THIS IS AN AWFUL DROPOFF LOCATION.
