It would have helped to be informed that the remote pickup had a specific range of time associated with it. I had to call and have the pickup rescheduled in order to have the right link in my Uhaul dashboard because I wasn’t aware that the link would expire after a certain time.

JIMMY EDirt and sand in the cabin. Truck had excessive wind noise due to what appeared to be a recently replaced and improperly sealed windshield. This was very annoying for a 2000 mile trip.

William HUnfortunately the truck was dirty - chocolate smeared on the belt buckle. The locking mechanism didn’t work at the back of the truck, which wasn’t a concern for us as we were just doing a short move - however if I’d wanted to secure the truck overnight I wouldn’t have been able to. The gentleman who helped us check-in was very helpful and pleasant. We will use the facility again, just we will do a more thorough check of the truck before leaving the premise.

Lori HI have pictures and video for proof; the UHaul was filthy with excess trash on the floor and ramp. The ramp literally had piles of dirt. Not only was the truck filthy.. it was soaking wet! Every area of the floor was SOAKING wet; tried to call the facility and the number was disconnected! Horrible experience! And the truck gas hand was not working so I over-filled! I would love a refund for the excess gas due to this malfunction of the gas hand.

MICHAEL WThe location was fine, but the vehicle smelled bad for a new vehicle with only 3K miles on it. The worst part was the agonizing web app to pick it up and the fact that it was horrifically slow and couldn't read the back of my license. When I finally got the key, I turned on the truck to see 2 miles worth of gas in the tank. I didn't even think there would be enough to make it to the gas station. I put less than 10 miles on the vehicle before returning it and had to put in $20 in gas just to make it. Pretty ridiculous!

I got charged a 3 days late fee when one of the days the uhaul location was closed snd they also counted the day that i dropped it off? I also got charged s random coverage fee even though i had bought the insurance. Ridiculous

Cornelius HThe interior of the truck was covered in mud. the steering wheel was sticky as if something had spilled on it. The windshield was so covered in bugs I had to pull over and clean it in order to drive safely. When I opened the back it was so dirty I had to clean it before I could load our furniture inside.

Gene CThe guy seemed annoyed with me because he mumbled when I walked in and I asked him to repeat himself. He also seemed frustrated that I was confused as to why I just dropped the keys and left because I've never dropped off at U-Haul before and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I was going to tell him that I thought the gas meter on the truck was broken because it did not seem to move the entire time I had the vehicle but he was giving off a weird vibe and I felt I needed to leave. I then had an issue with my bill and was going to call to clarify and to also ask if there could be a wait to be charge my card until the next day due to it being more than I expected it to be and not having the ability to go deposit more cash into my account but the phones were disconnected. In total I spent $330-340 on a U-Haul. For about $200 more I could have just hired movers.

Beverly MLink to document equipment damaged was not received until well after I hot home to begin loading, so I was unable to complete and upload damage documentation through Uhaul. If there is a part of the rental process that triggers sending the damage documentation link to the customer that could be responsible for the delay I would suggest a process review. Nothing you can do about network lag.
