Absolutely Outstanding facility very impressive and clean looking however as you get closer moths were everywhere all over and inside equipment and on as well inside of facility. Moths were on everything outside of building and in truck. At first glance truck look fine once inside wasn't cleaned from previous clients.ANGELA LYNN R.

I reserved a truck for 10 am at National Storage, which is a U-haul location. The representative who was lady, was rude, unprofessional, not helpful at all. Offered no assistance what so ever concerning my rental. I asked her for guidance concerning the situation, non was given at all. I called U-haul 800 #, a representative did not pick up my call at all. There was no contact made on the phone with U-haul at all. I left National Storage (Southfield) location and happened to be blessed by Safekeeping with a rental of a truck. The gentleman working at Safekeeping Storage (Southfield) location, was professional, thorough and offered assistance to me concerning my rental. Very professional. I do mean very professional. The vehicle was extremely clean, the facility was clean. I would recommend this rental location to anyone future wise. I give Safekeeping Storage (Southfield) location 5 stars for outstanding service in all areas.Richard H.

I had to put all my things in storage for a couple of months while waiting for my house to close. It was a stressful time, but your facility helped me get through it. The gal working at this primary storage facility that Sunday arrived almost a half hour late; just before 9:30 - and since I knew I had a full days work with the truck and my cargo ahead I wanted to get the truck at 9:00 and return it before they closed at 5 p.m. She was still there at 4:30 when I returned that afternoon, and told me she hadn't seen a single other customer all day; for either storage or truck rental after I left that morning. So she did kind of devote her whole Sunday at work to servicing me with the truck for the day - which was commendable.GREGORY STEVEN A.

This contract site for Uhaul has too many extra fees. They dollar & 2 dollar you with all the extras. I will make sure I use a UHAUL Store next time.sherry W.
The latch on the sliding door was jammed and would not close ..so we had to drop off items at 2 locations with the door open.Doris G.
The truck was actually dirty and it's kind of unfair because if I would've left the two pieces of wood and glass broken in the back they would've charged me but I have to clean up some dirty gloves that were under the seat and some wood and lives in broken glass that was in the back of the truckJohnathon H.

Finding out where to drop the vehicle off was difficult. I was given a couple of locations but I eventually was given a closer location after a couple of calls. Maybe a list of drop off spots with addresses should be made available when a customer rentsSteve S.

I'm upset because I originally paid for a one way trip from Traverse City to South Lyon. I saw there was one month free on a storage unit booked through Uhaul so I looked for the closest location that honored the one month free, which was a Uhaul storage in Southfield 30 minutes away. Yesterday, upon arriving the lady that worked there told me that I can just drop the truck off there in Southfield instead of driving it to South Lyon and she could check it in for me. Today, this same lady calls me and tells me that I have to come back and move the truck to South Lyon or that I will get charged minimum of $100 dollars because they will have to pay someone to move it. She didn't even apologize for the misinformation. I'm already hours away and can't do it. Obviously it was a miscommunication when she told me I was fine to drop it there and I do not think I should be paying for it. Other than that my experience was alright. I've been on the phone with customer service 3-4 times already and still don't know how much I'm about to be charged. If I knew this would happen, I'd have definitely dropped it off in South Lyon. Also my storage unit for some reason says $254, I called Uhaul regarding that and he wasn't able to pull up my account. Hoping all of this gets resolved.Brittany B.

Very nice although we didn't get a receipt saying the trailer was dropped off. I called the main office to be sure it was logged in as dropped off and it was, just called for my own peace of mind.leanna R.

In the future it would be a great idea if you inform the customer that the equipment will not be available at the primary location. I had to go to three places to find my Trailer the last place had to stay past close because no one could tell me were I was to get the trailer.Mike C.

I was send from a location in Farmington mi cause they didn't have equipment they said they had one in southfield which had a broken wiring harness so they gave me a smaller trailer which I didn't fit all my stuff in it so I had to throw some of my belongings away not very happyGERALD G.

Was a little nervous dropping off the trailer and leaving it after hours especially when I called to confirm they had after hours drop off and was told "Trailer is your responsibility until morning" It ended up being okay and I called to confirm that it was received the following day. They did not have the proper miles/ fuel on file when I rented the vehicle. They tried to charge me double what the price should have been. If I hadn't taking a picture of the dashboard prior to leaving the Uhaul store I would have incurred those extra costs. Although this was an inconvience to me the manager rectified the situation in a timely fashion (once he received the proof- dashboard pic). But I will not recomend this location.SHERONDA U.
