Gary GThe process of getting the uhaul was hell. I had to make 3 trips back and forth because the website and app was giving me trouble. Not to mention when I 1st got there, there was no sign of my reservation. So I had to call and wait 45 minutes for a customer service. The website does not update in a timely matter, this was such a bad experience. Never again.

Bradgel MThe location is closed on weekends. I was charged an extra day, though the charge was reversed when I called customer service and the service rep saw the note about the drop off time. The lady at the pickup location gave me until 5 PM to return the truck because my wife and I were picking it up on our way home at 2:00 PM, and I explained that I wouldn't have help loading it until late the next morning. I sent a text at 5:16 PM after putting gas in the truck saying "returned." I put the key in the drop box after locking the cab..

Jeffrey WMy entire experience for picking up this Uhaul truck was the wrost experience and inconvenience I have had while trying to move. This location was the 2nd attempt at getting a Uhaul after I had to cancel and reserve a new reservation because at the first location did not have a lock box to get the key or anyone present at any of the buildings adjacent for what was supposed to be a mobile pick up (which I was never informed of prior to changing my original reservation due to travel issues the first time). This 2nd location and attempt to get a truck had my mother and I drive another 20 minutes further away from our house to load up the Uhaul. While heading to the 2nd location, we were told the guy at the store for the in-person transaction and pick up of the truck would be back at 5. As we got there a little earlier than 5, we waited from 4:45 until 5:35 on a Friday afternoon until he arrived where we were finally able to get a truck. Matt, the employee of the store, was very nice and helpful once he arrived. Understand that life and things happen, but this was a 2 hour delay for me moving from AL to TX. The mobile app and online website gave me an error message each time I tried to do the mobile pick up at the first location. I will not be using UHAUL as my first choice for moving assistance in the future and I will let it be known to others that ask be aware of this possibly happening. Please do better in the future to avoid customer service issues and inconveniences for people using your products to move across states or whatever business it may be. This was completely inconveniencing for both my mom and myself as we both took off work this Friday afternoon to start loading up the truck and begin our move and travel back to TX.

Iris JI was guaranteed the 26ft box and got put with a 20. Called and asked for a trailer and they scheduled it in Bessemer, got there and couldn’t get it due to the person scheduling it in Pelham. Called back and they told me there was nothing they could do. I got the unit with 3/4 tank of gas and I put 3/4 back in it and it still charged me an extra $18 for fuel! I’ll never use uhaul again! I tried getting customer service on the phone… kept getting transferred around. Terrible customer service!

William HAt the last minute I was informed that there was not an appliance dolly available when it was confirmed via phone with a UHaul scheduler that 1 was reserved with the truck rental. The truck was horrible front end out of alignment, excessive vibration, interior was stinky and filthy, truck transmission shifted rough, cargo area nasty. Prayerfully God kept me covered. I will never rent another truck from U HAUL AGAIN!!
