Matthew BI filled the pre check and put how much gas was in the tank (with picture) which didn’t match what was reported, when I returned it they charged me for not having the amount the paper work. The paper work says 1/2 it only had 3/8 which is what I put in the tank.

Cheryl LThe mobile check-in process is too slow. Also, I've rented U-Haul before and we always started with a full tank of gas. That way when you bring it back you just fill it and you're good. Now you have to try to figure from the beginning how much you have to put it. We started with 1/2 tank and ended up putting $20 in gas. Go back to the full tank, much easier to figure.

John PThis was the location we were told to check our truck into, but when we got there, we were told it was the wrong location. The man who checked us in was friendly and tried to be helpful. But something went wrong with the check-in process, so that it showed that we were over time, over mileage, under gas, and had been in an accident, none of which were true. But it said we owed an additional $240. When we pointed out the errors, he was unable to fix the issue, so after half an hour of standing in a gas station convenience store, he ended up taking my phone number and telling me his supervisor would be calling me and fixing it. I didn’t hear from his supervisor, so I went to the official U-Haul place where they were able to tell me what was going on. I went back there the next morning to be sure the mistakes had been fixed, which they had. Seriously, this man was trying hard to make it all work, but it seemed that the equipment/computer access he had available to him wasn’t working as it should. I suspect that the training was minimal, since this was a third-party dealer, so he didn’t have the knowledge to be able to repair the errors. Also, I want to point out that the errors were fixed by the next morning. I appreciate the care that they went to to be sure the mistakes were fixed. It was just stressful at the time, for everyone involved.

Debbie ETo have a print out on the contract for the truck. They did not have a printer so did not have one in hand. To have the person that rents the truck out have more training. I recommend the place because it was convenient.

JOHN LWas told I couldn’t return the truck there and had to take it somewhere else even though that is where Uhaul told me to take it. I ended up returning it to where I originally wanted to return it, but that wasn’t an option from the beginning.

I am going to ecplode if I have to go in to another location to get my damn money. MY HOUSE BURNED DOWN tothe ground between thanksgiving and christmas. i dont have extra money to get screwed around by a corporation. the truck got ALL ofmy salvagable items. in a 3 story 6 bedroom house. i had the ttruck less than 3 hrs. i am all out of things to lose. i need this fixed. right away. Gregory MThis was THE WORST UHAUL experience thus far. I doubt I will ever rent a uhaul truck again! I have opened an official complaint with uhaul corporate and I better be getting a refund for the entire process, none of which was correct! This site will ignore that you're even standing there, wont have you look over the contract before they submit it, wont give you a copy (it gets emailed) they have no idea which keys are for what size trucks, they don't enter the correct destination or reservation info. I ordered a 15' truck to go from Salem to The Dalles, 153 miles. He did 15' truck for 30 miles to Dallas, yet the text link to return showed Monmouth Mini Storage.. 2.5 hours from where I was dropping the truck. So, the truck was marked late and I got emailed a receipt for $51 for wrong destination. The guy who called and texted me about where to pick up the truck stopped replying, so do yourself a favor, don't use this location! Don't use uhaul at all! I'm still waiting for a resolve.

John FThe truck was clean except for the ashes in the ashtray searing behaved as if the tie rods were starting to go out. At least a half an hour to get me out the door. On top of all that I was overcharged. And round numbers it should have been $79 and change on taking the truck and then another $43 in change after returning the truck I got charged for $79 twice so now I have to figure out how to get the difference back. This is the worst Uhaul experience I've ever had by far
David SI was sent an email by sherry that had the wrong information on my Uhaul . I was overcharged and am still awaiting fir my reimbursement .. I had a in town U-Haul .. it was quoted at 67 .00 I did not use U-Haul fir more than 4.5 hours

Williams bThe employee i had to deal with for pick up and drop off at the union 76 gas station was not very helpful. The computer system was down, which cost me hours into my moving time. He was incompetent and not apologetic. For drop of he was rude and mad that he had to do his job. Another employee, at the uhaul location down the street, named Travis (assistant manager) is most likely the only reason anything got handled. He came with me and my roomate to the union 76 gas staion to ensure the other employee got me taken care of. He was very helpful. Another issue that occured, was 5 different charges made to my bank acoount, which was not supposed to happen. Because of all those charges it drained my bank acount to the point i couldnt afford the storage unit i was moving my belongings into. Those charges have been reversed, as of today. All in all, it worked out, but wasted my time, i had to barrow money to afford my storage, and deal with the attitude of the gas station employee. Thank you to Travis!
Camille Brecommended NOT required location so when I attempted to return it to a closer location I as told I had to go to the RECOMMENDED location. NOT AMUSED !!!!!
Richard HGuy checking in was super rude. I had a 2 day rental and I was technically 2 whole minutes past the 48 hours. The “computer” said he had to charge me a $40 late fee. I protested and he did reverse the charge. So that’s good. He acted annoyed that I was questioning other charges. He reminded me that he reversed the $40 charge and followed it with a snooty, “you’re welcome”.

David HThey did not inform me regarding the insurance at the time of rental. In fact, no mention whatsoever until I returned the truck and then was informed there was a $14 insurance fee when I'm already covered under my own policy. I wasn't going to argue the point because I was tired from the move but paying an additional $14 feels like I got ripped off.

Jon HI spent two hours going between locations trying to grt a truck. No one wanted to help me because I was using a gift certificate. What a joke. I have been renting from uhaul for over 30 years but never again.
Vern SThe onsite staff were gas station employees and weren't very familiar with the system and how the process worked. I pre-checked in with all my info and it too 25 minutes to check out with two different people. I had to provide all my profile information twice, then they asked me to call my bank to ensure the charge went through. Overall poor experience, will avoid this location in the future. Staff were friendly and apologetic but unfamiliar with the task at hand.
Cameron KGave us wrong information about checking back in with the vehicle. Almost had to pay $200 to turn in the vehicle where the clerk told us to turn it in. He told us to take it to a different location which was closed. We spent an extra 1-2 hours turning in the vehicle.
Jeffrey DBe careful if the truck is picked up a little early and the return time is not moved earlier as well. The computer tries to bill for two days otherwise.
Kevin GThey made me wait for almost 2 hours clamming the computer was down, but found out the other person did not return the 15 foot truck so I had to take the 20 foot truck. They are rude and unfriendly. When I took the truck back again they made me wait 40 mins. I swept it out twice it was not good enof for attendant so he jumped up in truck and swept it out again. very rude, not nice. I will NEVER rent from this location again and I will tell all my friends to do the same. Truck was VERY dirty when I got it inside and out side, NO AC in truck
Matthew GThe attendant tried to say I was returning the truck late when, in fact, it was a day early. He noted the dirty condition of the truck. He asked me to sweep out the box again saying it looked dirty and I would be charged $25. I told him the truck was filthy when rented and we had to clean it to use it. He was no assistance when I told him the problems with the truck.
Timothy CThe gas station pick-up location did not have a waiting area and we were had to wait in the store from 15 minutes before one of two employees working (for both the U-haul, the gas station, and the convenient store) was able to help us. I was not given a walk through of the contact or the U-Haul.
