The only thing I would improve on the U-Haul experience is the price. When advertised it was supposed to be 19.95 for the day at a 1.48 per mile. "With gas, the daily charge, mileage and the time allotted the total came out to $95. That is a steep hike from the advertised price!"

The van was dirty with dried up coffee everywhere and they forgot to put the equipment I added on for the washer and dryer and on top if that they charged my account 3 times! A two time charge of 98.37 and then my final charge. When I called about the equipment the guy even hung up on me and didn't want to give me a discount. In the end he only gave me a 5 mile discount for the inconvenience. Horrible customer service.

Truck broke down next day of rental would not start after loading it full for our move had to be towed away called for a replacement and was told we have to rent a new truck bad service

I returned the truck in less than 24 hours, but my card was charged for 48 hours. When I called the location, the representative informed me that the truck was only available until 9:30 PM—information that was not communicated to me at the time of rental. Additionally, the truck was not as clean as expected. Clearer communication and cleaner vehicles would significantly improve the experience.”

The site was closed on Sunday; despite the reservation I made using mobile pick-up. Saturday at 12:00, they called from the gas station to say I couldn't come Sunday I had to find another site or come get the truck that day by 3:00. Luckily, I had someone able to go get the truck and park in my dirveway overnight. The global reservation site should NOT let you make a mobile reservation if the actual site does not honor it.

The truck I as given had a blind spot mirror that simply just fell off the truck as I was driving it. It of course shattered on the ground. I completed my use of the rent of the truck and brought it back. The guy indicated the insurance should take care of it if I got it (which thank god I did because $383 of damage was claimed on what was likely a $40 mirror... But the guy at the site basically said in a sort of unfriendly manor " well if the truck came back looking different than the pics they dont care its your fault. But the insurance should cover it." Upon looking at the bottom of the mirror it had clearly been installed wrong and or had fallen off and pushed back on more than once before. Not a horrible experience but the guy could have handled it better. When I spoke to your people on the phone about the damage claim later, they were very friendly and assured me I wouldn't' be charged.

The "lounge" or waiting area is small, crowded and has only broken chairs. Outside of Sam's Auto, the vehicles are clean, well-stocked and parked agreeably.

Anastasia and the man who worked at Kenoza Avenue U-Haul were so kind and so extremely helpful. Anastasia help me get last minute reservations for a U-Haul and two helpers to assist. Two assistance I had weren’t or excellent and so so good at what they did.

Couldn't get truck started, attendant said you had to play with the ignition key for a bit in order to get the truck to start. No knob to lower driver window. $19.99/day plus miles was the offer but was told when I picked up truck there is a 20 mile minimum. Shame because I only needed to go 4miles.

The furniture dolly & the hand dolly for boxes that I rented were not in the truck but I still got charged for them

The U-Haul location was closed on Sunday, when I needed the vehicle. However, the manager went out of his way to make sure I could get the vehicle and made the transaction possible.

Horrible customer service. The guy I returned it to was extremely rude and charged a $25 cleaning fee and sent it through before telling me. I asked what the cleaning fee was for and he said “napkins” and I opened the truck to find 1 napkin. When I first picked up the truck there were tons of peanut shells all over the place that I had to clean out before I loaded it. My mind was blown that he charged me a cleaning fee because I literally returned the truck cleaner than when I picked it up. He said he charged it because he “didn’t want to lose his job.” What a complete joke. I will never rent here again because of this employee and advise that nobody rents from this shady place.

Second time using those service at this exact same location and it was quick fast and easy to rent from no issues what so ever highly recommend this location if you're looking g to rent a uhaul.

Last time I rented from them, I cleaned it myself brought it back. Then I looked at my bill and I got charged 40 bucks for a cleaning fee when I had already cleaned it.. if you look at my record, you’ll see that I rent them quite often

The man at the store, for my return of the U-Haul truck was very pushy and told me to come back for my money that I I do not drive for therefore, that was very inconvenient for me. Now I have to find a ride to get what money is owed to me like I said he was very pushy. I said I needed the money that I was owed he said, come back tomorrow, but that’s not as easy, rude, rude and it’s three days later I’m still not there to get the money that is owed to me

Sams Auto seemed to take my request for a U-Haul as an inconvenience for them. They didn't mention the possibility of a dolly rental until I was about to leave and offered almost no help getting my car onto the auto-trailer. Once my car was on the trailer they were indifferent to the fact that none of the car doors would then open more than 6 inches because the trailer's wheel wells blocked them. So I had to climb out the car window, crack the door and reach in to close the window and then reach further with a stick to poke the ignition button to turn the car off. Definitely not customer service oriented.
