The location was fine, but the trailer lights did not work. The taillights where broken, and I did not find this out until the trailer was loaded and we tried to leave early in the morning. The turn signal and brake lights worked.Eric O.
The drop off location was over 20 miles away from my home. U-Haul had changed the drop off location 3 times during my rental. When I returned the truck the owner gave me keys to their chain linked area and told me to unlock the gate and put the truck away. I was also charged for extra mileage when I had to drive over 20 extra miles for drop off. This was not convenient or welcomed.TONI V.

There was no assistance in hooking up. The flat 4 connector was damaged. I took it upon myself to procure one from another unit. The contract information was emailed and not available in print. Did me no good. Now for U-Haul - 1. The quick links on the safety chain could not be turned without a wrench. The chain as stored was twisted upon itself indicating that was the proper way to attach. NOT 2. The ball hitch coupling screw down knob was hard to turn. I lubricated it. Much easier. 3. Some people like me do not do the internet thing well. Fix the system. Other than the above, my trip was great, uneventful. free of any issues. The trailer towed very well. My load stayed securely in place. Good trip.Martin C.

Charged me for $70 for safe toe that I declined didn't appreciate that. And then having to drive an extra 125 MI to get the equipment that I reserved in another location.John B.

Attempted to drop off at Tillimook,OR Uhaul. While pulling in to the driveway, an employee walked up to the gate and locked it and did not look at us. Simply walked away even though we were just feet in front of him. I understand closing time but a couple of seconds to give us some guidance would have resulted in a significantly better customer experience. The experience at the Pacific City drop off was much better.Chris L.

My first paid reservations with 24/7 in tillamook had the truck reserved when i showed up to pick it up at 4:00 on friday the truck had not been returned so they made arrangements for me to drive 20 miles to sand lake location to get the truck. When i returned it on saturday evening they told me someone would be there to just knock on the door i knocked and knocked and knocked no answer so i then drove the truck home and back the next morning which increased my mileage which i had to pay for and the truck was filled with gas they apologized but things like this shouldn't happen to someone renting from you guys. That's why i put a very poor if i ever rent from U-Haul again i hope that when you reserve a truck it is there when you get there i hate paying extra mileage when my vehicle can't be delivered and must return the next day.randy H.
The proprietor basically pointed to a trailer and said â€œhook that one up and drive up the the door and I will take a picture of the hookupâ€. That was it. About 20 minutes later I received a text asking that I document the condition of the equipment. By the time I got to a safe location the link was no longer active.James B.
