I was detoured to this location from a truck repair shop-Florida truck parts. The truck repair shop was a dump and had NO parking. They were nice enough, but re-routed me to S&S. Florida truck parts had to check to see that I would not be charged since I had to go to a different location-you have to be kidding right?MARTIN P.

Not one of the employees were wearing masks. All the customers did and sat there waiting and every employee that was there was not wearing a mask. So you have folks coming from near and far and you can not bother to protect your customer by wearing a mask. No you will not get a recommendation from me. I had the mask on to protect your employees, do the same for your customers.Judith K.

3 days after I returned the trailer, I received a phone call asking me â€œwhenâ€ I planned on returning it. They took my paperwork when I returned it but never bothered to enter it in as returned nor did they bother to check their lot for it. Not for 3 days ! My only complaint is: i rented the truck for 3 days but only ended up needing it for 2 days. So i called up uhual and said i didn't need the truck for the third day, can i return it and get a refund for that third day that wasn't needed. They told me no! I don't think that was fair or right.MARK B.

The Uhaul pickup truck was dirty inside and out upon pickup. Looked like it had been sitting for quite a while. Why am I not a happy client? I paid at 3:30pm on a Monday afternoon to catch them before close. It was near 5pm the same day when I was able to pick the truck up. I had a 4 day rental set up to return on Friday before close. They received the truck ON TIME by 4:15pm on Friday afternoon again just before they closed. I had the truck less than 4 days in my possession, but because I filled out my paperwork at 3:30pm on Monday (which was just me trying to be there before they closed). They told me on Friday that my deadline was 3:30PM when I filed the paperwork and charged me for a whole extra day on the back end of the deal. I didn't even have the truck for 4 whole days and was charged for a 5th day on Friday afternoon. I feel robbed as a customer and the lady in the office was rude about the situation. It's not the $38 that bothers me as much as it is the moral of the story. Even if I was 30 minutes late which I wasn't. I was there before close on the 4th day and Charging me for another full day was wrong of them to do. I'm a business owner for a decade and from experience at the end of the day customer service will make or break you. The client keeps your doors open. You make the client want to come back or you snake them for what you can and they end up spreading the word. There are plenty of other rental companies to go with.WILLIAM B.

Reserved truck with additional equipment. After leaving the lot, got a weird feeling and found the blankets I requested were not on the truck. Called the dealer were rented told to come back and get them. Went to the dealer and was told they did not have any on the location. I was told they would credit my account. When someone takes the time to request a rental of a vehicle AND moving supplies over a week in advance, it would stand to reason that enough supplies can be acquired from other locations as need be. I requested a moving dolly and 4 dozen furniture pads for a move from southwest FL to eastern TN. After the truck was pulled around, I was told there was no furniture pads. I had NO TIME to find a different truck or supplies, so I took it. We did what we could to be careful. But over an 800 mile trip, several family heirloom pieces got scratched all up, as well as the finish on a custom tool box. Not to mention there was also no dolly, the truck was running on fumes when I picked it up, and there was a significant oil leak from somewhere.SEAN P.

I didnt know u charged for the pads, i got 4 dozen pads and returned all of them with truck, 5 of the packages were never even opened, I dont feel u should charge your customers when they r returned especially the unused ones and i didnt know there was a chargeLINDA R.

First- I had originally rented a pickup truck. The weather was bad the day of pick up so I called S & S Money Auto Repair to see if I could change. At first the woman told me that she only had a 26 ft truck available. When I said I had to cancel, she miraculously "found" a 10 foot truck. I agreed (we only had to move a dresser). Once I got there, I found that it was a 15 foot truck and the price was $29.95 plus a higher rate per mile. I got to the S&S Money at 12:30 and had a horrible self check-in experience. Once we found the truck in the back lot and followed the check in instructions, I found that we had to go out of the lot and to the whole other end of the property to get the key in a lock box. When we opened the lock box, there was no key! Went to the office (isn't self service supposed to avoid this?) and was told that someone would bring us the key. I also asked why it was a 15 foot truck and was told that they didn't have any 10 foot trucks. Being in a bind as I had an appointment to pick up the dresser, I had to take the larger truck. We then waited by the entrance to the back lot until a woman came. I asked her if she was there with the key for me. She was very rude and said she was here for "someone's" truck. I tried to explain that we were waiting for the key and then she asked what size truck. When I told her, she said yes, she had the key. When I started to follow her back to get the truck, she told me I had to wait for her to get the truck because this was THEIR property! Again, what is self-service for??? Due to all of these problems and confusion, we didn't leave until 1:20 pm and I was told I had to have the truck back by 4. This was not the 4 hours that I had booked the truck for! I now had to hurry (from Port Charlotte to Cape Coral, FL), during some heavy rainstorms, in order to make sure I was back by 4. When I returned the truck I was told that, not only did I have to pay $.99/mile, but I also had to replace the 1/4 tank of gas that I had used! I was appalled that I had to pay $29.95 for 4 hours plus $.99 per mile PLUS gas. Why isn't gas covered in the mileage rate?? Most car rentals give unlimited mileage and you fill up the gas. Mileage rates for the IRS include gas. What is with U-Haul?? I asked what the charge would be if they filled it up for me (a gas station was just across the street) and I was told $35! Totally outrageous! So, this 2-1/2 hour rental to pick up 1-$20 dresser cost me almost $115.00! Then I found out that I could have rented a van from Home Depot (Penske) for about $60 with unlimited mileage. You can be sure I will be utilizing them and not be renting from U-haul ever again, especially from this particular place of business!! Bad experience all around!!!Cathy M.
They were very good to deal with at this dealership. I sugguest you have the equipment in the parking lot where the customer can get to it easily and out of the parking lot easily. Also, clean it out so there are no bugs/spiders in the cab. Other than that the service was very good at S&S Money Auto Repairs.Peggy A.
