Upon my arrival at the U-Haul location, I was greeted by a representative who, despite the circumstances, exhibited a commendable level of courtesy and provided informative assistance. However, my experience quickly took a disappointing turn when I discovered that the equipment I had specifically requested—a utility dolly designed for the efficient handling of appliances—was not available. This oversight significantly complicated the moving process for my team, rendering what should have been a straightforward task into a challenging ordeal. The lack of prior communication from U-Haul regarding this equipment shortfall was particularly disheartening. While I had been informed that the initial location I selected did not have the truck available and was directed to an alternative site, I was not made aware that the utility dolly, an essential tool for my move, was also out of stock. This lack of foresight and communication not only added to my frustration but also resulted in damage to some of my furniture, as we were forced to make do with a hand truck that was ill-suited for the heavy lifting required. Moreover, the condition of the truck itself left much to be desired. Upon inspection, I found the exterior to be unkempt and the interior to be dusty and dirty, suggesting that it had not been properly cleaned or maintained in quite some time. This level of neglect is unacceptable, especially when customers are charged full price for services that should meet a standard of cleanliness and readiness. In light of these experiences, I find myself compelled to seek alternatives for my future moving needs. It is my hope that U-Haul will take these concerns seriously and strive to improve their service quality, ensuring that customers receive not only the equipment they request but also a level of cleanliness and professionalism that reflects the standards one would expect when paying for such services. TAMMY CHad an initial hiccup with the return location listed incorrectly and I was charged for a one-way trip but when the dealer started the return the pricing adjusted and a refund issued to my card. Mr Brown was very accommodating and eager to help fix the error, even calling the corporate office to ensure that the return at the pickup location would make the charges correct. Went from and 89.64 to the proper local charge of 29.11. Great to have a business owner that cares about getting the charges righ, ensures that I will use his location again in the future. Even if it is just to grab a sandwich.
REGINA RI rented a truck. I had no idea how long it would take me to move my four bedroom home. I was threatened and told that the police would be called. Why would you book a truck when someone else had it. Kon top of everything else you people took an extra 100.00 off my card. I am senior on fixed income. You people are shameful and arrogant.. nothing good will come of this. Shame on you.

william iThe pick up location was easy to find and the owner was incredibly nice. There was a moment of confusion because the owner was not in his shop but outside waiting. Once he clarified who he was it was a great process!
