System were down and the employees had no idea what to do. I had to recommend calling tech support. Check in process took over 45 mins.

Their customer service is good by they terribly over charge you. I had a very bad experience from this uhaul location. The truck is in ok condition, but even after returning on time they charged me for extra 2 days as their office was closed on weekends. This is not fair.

Gaetano STruck was generally clean but the floor mats were muddy and the truck bed had a lot of small debris in all the nook and crannies. The staff person was friendly enough but it took way to long to process the rental (given that all my info was already on the web site). The site was also in cluttered with old vehicles and located in a house slated for demolition.
ROBERT BI felt like I stepped into a third world country. Weeds growing high, office smelled terrible, Flies dying on the desk Unbelievable. How could you possibly jeopardize your brand with a third party like this?

Pedro SSelf serve was good once I got used to it. On the app, when the back of the license scan did not work, should have made it much more obvious on how to switch to picture to make it work and continue on. I had to calm the call centre ( which worked well) to learn I had to click the very small “did not work button” I had pressed it earlier and it did t work. Other than that the check I. And check back processes were easy.

My phone setting needed to adjust the privacy setting so it could recognize that I was there. Great experience, thank you.
Shawhad HVery frustrated that we pre-paid but still had to pay more on arrival. We were hoping to be in and out. Instead we were delayed by 30 minutes because of issues on their end. No sincere apology. Absolutely ridiculous.
Brian LOverall the experience was great. I will definitely be using them again in the future. The only thing is it is being run out of a converted house making parking and manoeuvring difficult when renting larger trucks.

James LI rented dollies and pads that were not made available. When reaching out to support they did not fix my issue. I was counting on those equipment.

Asif MI need to talk to someone at the higher level about this location. There is more than one issue to talk about. Usually I don’t write bad reviews, but I will have to do it for this location if they don’t refund my money.
ARA MCharges were made to my account they were NOT discussed with me with the phone technician. She stated a completely different price than what was charged and no one will help us get our money back. Never using U-HAUL ever again.
ADAMLOUIS GThis location was tiny to begin with but with the snow the driveway was barely big enough for a car to get in. It smelled horrible inside the building. The people were nice that was a plus. The guy had to get the vehicle turned around and in the small amount of snow left from plowing the wheels just spun and spun.

HASSAN Mthe office location was so smelly unhygienic and thought that some animal was dead in there. get someone to clean or change the location staff was nice and helpfull. would have fainted by the smell if staff didn't offered to go outside
MUNEEB CI faced considerable issues collecting the vehicle as the staff struggled with the systems to release the vehicle to me. Unrelated to the location: my return was difficult in that the app would not allow me to complete the return process, provide photos etc, so I had to drop the vehicle off in good faith that I would not be disadvantaged.
Gregory B1. Staff needs proper training. - Wasn't clear how to use the system - had issues taking payment. I ended up helping her out. - Printer wasn't working - Did not know what gas the vehicle needs. - No mention of checkout process. After we dropped off the keys is when we realized we needed to take photos of the gauge, etc. 2. Better communication - did not have any rental equipment we requested, and no apologies. We had to go elsewhere to rent. 3. 1/4 gas - we had to go get gas first.
CHENG HIt took me more than an hour just to collect my vehicle from this centre. Nobody was there at the centre to hand over the delivery of the vehicle. When i tried to get in touch with someone they were not able to answer any of my questions and mentioned that they are new so they dont know how to deliver the car and how to bill the total amount. Also I was not told about the billing charges appropriately and abrubtly charged my credit card with additional charges. I booked the vehicle for 4 hours and inspite of getting the vehicle late by more than an hour the agent told me that I will charged late fees if i dont return the vehicle within 4 hours of the original booked time. It was a really bad experience overall. I was charged for almost full fuel tank inspite of me reminding them that the tank was not full when i picked the vehicle. It was not at all organized and nobody had answers to any of my questions. I would never recommend anyone to pick a Uhaul from this location (trafalgar road, oakville).
Ankit JThis location is not only derelict, it is a health and safety hazard to enter the premises. I order the truck over the phone with a UHaul rep and that was good service. That is where the good part ended. When the location called to confirm the pick up they told me that they weren't actually supposed to be working that day but would make an effort to come in. The day of the pick up they were 10 minutes late. There were significant issues with the computer program and this delayed my departure for close to an hour. This is a huge problem when you are working on a schedule. During my booking over the phone, I ordered a dolly/furniture mover. When I asked about that at the location, I was told that they didn't have anything like that available. This was another huge issue because I was counting on that for the move that I was doing. When I confirmed the pick up, I was told that there was parking for my car. When I asked about it during the pick up of the truck, I was told that there wasn't parking available. This again was another huge issue, because I was there on my own. They asked the owners of the property if I could park there and they were unpleasant about it and insisted that I sign a piece of paper saying that they were not responsible for my car. I was so late for my move that I agreed, just to get out of there and get on my way close to an hour late. Again, I cannot stress enough the complete hazard of entering the premises...it was through the back of a derelict building, where in order to get into the "office" you have to step up and on to concrete building blocks, with no handrail and on to a shoddy, falling apart wooden deck. The conditions were deplorable and the customer service seriously lacking! I will never use this location or Uhaul again!
