Make sure the uhaul is clean. It had hay and smelled like a horse farm inside it. The location was also very muddy.

U-Haul is typically awesome, but the people in charge at this location are giving you guys a bad name. I'm sure you've gotten complaints about them before based on the way they acted. Seemed like I was really inconveniencing them by being a customer. Maybe I came when they were having a bad day.

I had to go out if my way by an hour to pick up the U-Haul. Instead of where I wished to pick it up. You changed it 2 days before pick up. I think you should stick with your confirmation of pick up and drop off and not change locations. Inconvenient and distressing during a stressful time as any move would be... did NOT need added stress. The U-Haul, however, worked well and did the job!

This place is filthy, the workers there seem not to care, there was absolutely no consideration for protection from the coronavirus, it is a terrible representation of uhaul.

The truck was clean, but smelled badly of weed smoke...weed is legal in Maine, but the not everyone approves of its use (I don't care, my wife and son both partake)...but those who are less accepting of the practice may have complained about the strength of the odor. I aired it out for you some during my rental. Might be a good thing to ask agents in Maine to air out vehicles before re-renting them, if the smell is strong, as it was in this case. For the most part, I just giggled and said to myself, "Welcome to Maine!"

Return the equipment to scooters U-Haul at 2:30 in the afternoon. So you at approximately 6 p.m. I received an email from U-Haul instructing me how to return the equipment. By this time I had already returned the equipment and left and gone home. Now U-Haul is going to charge me $20 because I didn't take pictures of the truck. I didn't cause any damage to it I swept the truck out and I really think that this was an unfair practice by U-Haul to charge me $20 for informing Lee 4 hours late how to return a vehicle. With this in mind it becomes very distasteful to even think that I would ever rent from U-Haul again.

This does not pertain directly to this location but to the customer service phone line. My drop off instructions were to call sad number to get the adress. Wated on hold for what seamed like forever, got the adress, found out the drop off location was closed for the holiday weekend and was told that the only way to return a trailer was to call customer service at the location. Was on hold for 26 minutes before I was simply told to use the web site checkout that 2 other people told me I couldn't do. Long story short call center people need better training so people aren't waisting their time on hold.

The roof leaked. Roadside assistance tried twice in one day to get it to stop. It still leaked. My boxes were wet and I lost my unloading help on Sunday. I asked for an extension, then had to argue to not place the late fee on my account.

I have submitted a request for a refund for the overage in the fuel I put into the truck, but have not heard back. I over filled the truck with gas because the drop off location told me to fill it up. So I did. But when I checked with my friend who picked up the truck I was informed that it was only at a half a tank when we picked it up. I put in an additional 11 gallons at $2.82/gallon, how can I get reimbursed for the $31.02? Thank you!

It is the only place in town. So I would recommend it again. But they did not login the return of my vehicle promptly. As a result, I got a notification and had to make an extra phone call to U-Haul to correct the information. I returned my vehicle immediately, the same day I rented it. I called the return agency the following morning at 7 AM to tell them it was there and that the keys were there. They did not log that in for three days. I consider that to be inadequate service

I was told mileage in the truck was 74371.7 it wasn't. It was 74373.7 , my cost were to come to $68.+ change. I calculated the mileage,plus gas was just under 1/2 a tank,I brought it back with a 1/2 tank of gas. Only used it for one load,pick up at 4:25 pm Friday ,returned 6:30am Saturday. Cost should have been $87.+ change. I have 2 debit charges to my account, 1-$80.16,2nd =$23. ,why? Agent saw me pull in lot at 6:30am, I took pic of gauges on my cell when I dropped off. I believe I was overcharged and would like this cleared up asap..

The gentleman at the counter was on the phone and in no hurry to help the 3 people behind the person picking up this truck. The truck was dirty when picked up. Person was charged 56 dollars at the counter and the gentleman at the counter could not tell him what it was for. He said it came from UHaul and he had nothing to do with it. Also, don't remember asking for extra insurance coverage either. So those charges were not expected.
