Make sure the trailer has running lights that are working and make sure there are enough moving blankets for mt order. I placed the order 3 days in advance. It shouldn’t have been a surprise that I was expecting 12.

SHAWN ZInform them that if they don't have a credit card they can rent a 10ft moving truck or bigger instead of the cargo van or small pickup truck if they are trying to rent the smaller vehicle.
Jordan STotally not blaming anyone and the high miles may be an indicator - but the air conditioning fan stopped near the end of my rental. Thankfully it was a little cooler outside and the window down was just fine to stay comfortable.

Edward FI rented a van had it about 15 minutes to drive from the dealership to my home realized that the item I needed to move would not fit, I was charged full price, totally unexpected. I haven't used U-Haul in probably 20 years and based on this experience I won't again going forward.

Jean-Luc LThe person managing this location took. my deposit on my debit card. However when I went to drop of the truck (One-way) they told him he entered my deposit as cash. This caused a problem as the place I dropped the truck off was not set up to provide the deposit back via debit. After many calls I was told I could only get my deposit back via check. I was not happy as you can imagine. Make sure when you are depositing money that they enter the correct info. Not sure why he put down that I paid cash.

DENIS TThe truck was dirty, it reeked of smoke and had garbage from the previous customer. The back wheels were bald which caused us to get stuck in our driveway 4 times. The driveway was ploughed of snow yet the darn truck's wheels kept spinning adding to the kilometers. I have never paid so much for so little use. I was charged over 500$ and I know that is unfair and inaccurate. I would like a customer service representative to call me and fix the price to reflect the negative effects we suffered because of this subpar truck.

Mark BThe franchise was excellent, and very friendly and efficient. The u-haul service overall was frustrating, with a last minute switch imposed to a dealer 20 Km away. This increased my mileage costs by almost $50. If u-haul changes the location at the last minute, they should waive additional mileage charges.
