My experience was great except the clerk charged me $30 for Safe Move which I told her I DID NOT want. I didn’t realize until I received my receipt online that she did it anyway. I want refunded the $30

The high beams switch is broken on that truck. This is a neg comment to Roadside assistance. Tiffany was great. But being told I had to fix something is not cool in book. I’m glad nothing was broken and my car is relatively unharmed from the tow. I figured it out eventually. Also when I dropped the trailer off. One of the cables for the trailer was disconnected. Don’t know how. The gentleman that took ownership of the trailer. He pointed it out.

These folks are amazing! From the initial inquiry and tour of the facility, to the rental process and beyond. I moved from beaver creek after having my rent raised monthly WITHOUT NOTICE to a ridiculously high price and the constant overcharging for every little thing I needed. I packed my stuff into a Uhaul from Secureloc and headed over to put everything into their storage units where the sweetest lady in the office saw I was exhausted and offered help from her son, who is the maintenance gentleman there. When I returned the truck her daughter, who also works there, was in the office and they are ALL such a pleasure to talk with. I have storage in Las Vegas that I am going to move here and they are giving me a multi unit discount plus a senior discount, I wouldn't want to rent anywhere else

I wasn't sure if we would need the truck for 1 or 2 days but the lady working explained everything perfectly so we went with 2 days just in case. When we came in to pick the truck up she had everything additional in the back of the truck that we requested and rocked the rental process. I talked to her through the whole process asking questions and she just rolled with it not missing a beat but answering all of my questions. I couldn't ask for a nicer, cleaner, more welcoming facility. thank you for making it so easy

We rent from Uhaul frequently due to our business. We have rented from all over the city and the lady working at this location is the absolute bomb! She explained everything, unlike other locations, while doing a million things at once and smiling the whole time. She was such a pleasure to deal with, this will be our new go-to spot for rentals. Hire more like her or use her for your training model!!

Truck was freshly detailed and even though it was old/well used it ran like it should! The office staff is friendly, helpful and amazing to deal with. The receipt you are given tells you everything you need to know and breaks down all of the details of the rental charges. This is definitely my go-to from now on when I need to move anything.

I originally booked a different location 6 hoursthey told me they don’t have my truck so had to use this location and booked me for 12 hrs I was quoted 114.00 and asked if I drop it off early since I only needed 2 hours would that drop the price I was told no but it my final bill was 67.00 so not sure was I was given wrong info also the lady was nice but she was by her self needed more help as this make customer wait longer than they need to hire someone to help her out .

I have had storage at this location for MONTHS and the only reason I am giving it a good rating is due to the lady in there now that will do her best to fix mistakes or past lies told by employees about prices. When I got the unit, a dark haired lady who always had her kids in there told me I got 2 free months then 3 months at 25 bucks, and a completely different amount per month than what I have been charged. i have contacted the customer service department and they just gave you the run-around but I happened to be in town so I stopped by the location and the lady working (the receipts say chelle1209 but I didn't catch her name) was very helpful in explaining what the sale should have been and why the monthly amount was possibly different. I know it's not her fault and she can't completely undo what was done but she did try to accommodate me the best she could. In the future, they really need to train their people better or have things written/displayed better so people don't get ripped off. Other than the issue with the employee that no longer works there this location is perfect for everything we need it for

needed a truck last minute to move my girlfriend from NY down to hagerstown and the ladies in the office worked their magic to make that happen! they took the time to calculate the difference between a one-way rental vs up-back and when I needed storage because all of her stuff wouldn't fit they hooked me up with that as well. wonderful friendly caring staff and I wouldn't want to use anyone else

I unexpectedly needed a truck to haul some stuff down the road, but I didn't want to drive a lot of extra miles to bring it back to Hagerstown. I stopped into secure lock to get some suggestions on what is the cheaper way to do it or if they even had anything to drive. The redhead behind the counter looked like a little tornado doing 4 things at the same time, smiling and sweet as can be to everyone she talked to! It was pretty comical to watch her go but I also enjoyed her positive attitude, no matter what was thrown her way she handled it and moved on. you go girl!!!

Back of truck was not clean and had to have road side assistance come due to truck battery needed a jump. I was stuck until tow truck showed up

lady behind the counter was beyond helpful! we weren't sure if we wanted to do one way or not so she helped us run the numbers both ways to see what was better due to us being on a budget. we had originally talked to a guy in maugansville but he acted like he hated his job and didn't want to talk to anyone because he said he would make a reservation for whatever we wanted but he didn't have time to keep changing things around. we drove past the one on frederick street and decided to stop out of curiosity, i'm very glad we did. thank you so much for all of your help

I am SOOOOOOOOOO thankful for this location and the lady working when I got my truck! I was leaving an abusive relationship and wanted to keep my information secret incase he called trying to track me. Miss Michele kept my info on the cell phone they use along with my license and extra contacts so nobody could accidentally give it out. She gave me advise that helped calm me down, gave me water, allenwrenches / screw driver/ flashligjt because I was so freaked out I forgot everything I needed. When I went to leave I asked if I could hug her and she let me cry til I was calm enough to drive. We need more people like her.you rock

Had a 24/7 rental but had trouble with process. Michelle answered the phone at midnight and walked me thru everything so i could get ou6 of he 10 degree weather quickly and then took care of helping with retur process that didn't work the next day either. It wasn't a call center type that answered it was the actual store employee and she was amazing. That you

I spoke to the store the night before pick up of the trailer. They said I could come in at 7:50 am Saturday to pick up. So I travelled to MD from PA. Showed up at 7:50 am Saturday to find no one there and a sign stating will return at 8:30 am. So I went back to my parents house and came back at 8:30 am. Still no one there. Finally some one showed up to open at 9:05 am. Was a huge waste of time and gas to show up when I was told I could show up. Very disappointed in the disconnect. And the wasted time and gas going back and forth to wait for the place to open.

I do have issues with U-Haul but not this location he was great! But my experience with U-Haul in regards to the West Virginia scheduling center was the worst there was no communication they changed my reservation without contacting me and when I would get reserved a truck the truck was gone by the time I got there.

Vickie was great. Friendly Courtesy She explained everything clearly. She did have a tech issue - not being able to print my receipt - but it was emailed and all is well! One issue with the truck - mirrors were extremely difficult to adjust. I’m short but even inside the cab the mirror didn’t stay where I needed it. Best part — rain held off for loading and unloading. I’ll definitely use this location again when I need a larger vehicle. Thanks for being there when needed.

The Staff at Securloc Self Storage in Hagerstown is Awesome! I completed my Final trip for my State to State Move. They, Cassie specifically, worked with me throughout my move which had unforeseen delay to a health related issue, but I am finally complete and in one State, I am extremely Grateful I chose UHAUL for my Moving Trucks-3, Car Hauler, and lastly 6x12 trailer. Now I can start to relax... Thanks for All the support A- very Satisfied Customer. James

Horrible they it said they closed at 2pm on Saturdays but I get there at Alittle before 1:30pm and there closed that wouldn't be an issue but I had poor internet connection and trying to do the return procedure with poor Internet was horrible, so I'm not even sure if it went through. however I was told on the app that if I was having trouble just to drop off the contract in the mailbox which I did and waived it in front of the camera hopefully I won't be charged a late fee.

Check engine light came on after making one trip, it was hesitant to go. I called and was told to just drop it off at the location I picked it up from- which was 30 miles. Absolutely will never rent another uhaul! Not to mention I booked a storage unit as well- it says open til 10pm, but that’s not the case for “first time renters”. So I wasted 60 miles making a POINTLESS trip. Absolutely added so much added stress on top of moving.

Speaking about UHAUL the Company, not this particular rental location... Every truck I've rented seems to have minor but annoying problems. Loud engine noise in the cab, something rattles that maybe shouldn't, or the front tires shimmy at certain speeds. Most of the trucks appear clean; but could be cleaner and the front windshield should be spotless before the next rental. The best part of renting from UHAUL is when you can finally return your vehicle and turn in the keys. Maybe their fleet is getting old, or they rent to humans who don't know how to respect rental property. Either way, it's never a pleasant experience, but it serves its purpose as far as providing what you need, a truck to haul stuff.

No one was at the location at time of in person pick up had to call customer service. Once in the uhaul the driver door was very hard to close and the rear passenger tire was low on air (around 20 psi instead of 80) overall was my worst uhaul experience would not recommend this location to anyone
