I was charged a fee that I wasn't aware of existing. And I'm pretty mad about it. I will not be recommending uhaul because of this. I am on a limited budget and an extra $20 fee is a lot to unknowingly get hit withKellie B.
We rented for local moves 4 times in 2 weeks. The way Guy and Charlie treated us was nothing short of exceptional. Then, on our last move that was out state, we had a major change occur. I called u haul, their agents went over and above and found a solution. Then, once again, Guy stepped in to make everything work fair, and smooth. In today's world where most large companies advertise one thing and rely on small print to deliver less, u haul has proved to be far more than an exception. Great people, clean and nice vehicles, innovative loading and moving accessories for added ease... And good pricing. I'm extremely satisfied with everything. It's a no brainier, use u haul.john K.

Rented a 15' van to move some things to storage (locally). I took their word for it that the fuel was at "full" at the time of rental. I should have looked. I drove the vehicle for approx. 15 miles before returning it. When I re filled the gas, it took 9.6 gallons. I mentioned this to the rental location and they made call. I was reimbursed for 5 gallons. Apparently the guy on the phone thinks the vehicle gets less than 4 miles to the gallon. Never believe what you are told and only half of what you see.mark S.

The right turn indicator and brake light bulb was burnt out. I was raining so I hooked up the trailer but the UHaul rep didn't want to inspect the hook up. Obviously, I couldn't brake and check the bulb at the same time.Dan G.
I was charged for going over Miles you should let your customer allotted Miles for picking up the truck and going to the house that they are moving from U-Haul said I would over in my miles and I don't agree with you guys charging from going straight from the U-Haul place to my home when it was only 10 minutesTara W.

Very friendly and courteous store owner assisted with changing the online Uhaul order I had trouble placing and entered in the correct dates and equipment for me. The little bit of hassle he saved me during my stressful move was a much appreciated gesture. I would highly recommend using this Uhaul location-Self Serve Lumber in St. Johns. Made a reservation for a pick up truck in Carson City Mi got a call that they didn't have one so they got a 10ft for me in St johns mi if I want it I asked the lady if it was going to cost more she said no same price $53.75 and I could drop the truck off in Carson City without any problem so I said ok get to the pick up spot and they can't get the system to not charge me a deposit so they call Uhaul support and get told its a known issue and that they should try doing a new order at same rate so they do that same problem call support back get district manager Dustin and he says let him see what he can do and he will call back when he calls back he tells them to do it as a paper write up and Carson City should be able to fix it cause not all the spots are having the issue so we take the truck do what we needed which at this point it had be almost 2hrs of waiting to just pick up drop truck off in Carson City at our original pick up spot and they don't know what to do even with me handing them my paper copy write up so the guy says I will take your information and call to find out how to charge it so I go home and the next day I look at my bank account and find they charged me $127.99 when they said it would be $53.75 so I send an Email to customer service and the next day I get an Email back from Dustin the regional district manager and he says that I got charged more cause I didn't return the truck to the right spot and that I should have paid even more so I Email back saying that its crap and that I want to take it higher up cause I don't feel its right to blame the customer for their mistakes and now they have charged me a second amount of $5 and still have not heard back on any way they are going to make things right so no I am not very happy with this companyAmanda S.

They say you will get reinbersed for miles n days not used on a one way rental. Lies is what that is will never use this location or U haul again.Chris S.

I did express check in online and it still took 40 minutes for them to check me in so I could take the equipment. St Johns location is not online so I couldn't do it from home. I had to go into location twice to get reservation setup because computer kept crashing and he didn't know what he was doing. He stopped waiting on me to help another customer. I would drive the extra 20 minutes to the other location than use this oneCoraleen P.

I ordered a truck from Owosso which had 2 locations and I had to drive 30 minutes to pick up a truck in St John's which cost me extra time and gas. They added extra miles but it would have been nice to be compensated money for extra time and gas as it wasn't the location I ordered.roy K.
